  • Include php code within echo from a random text

    - by lisa
    I want to display a php code at random and so for I have <?php // load the file that contain thecode $adfile = "code.txt"; $ads = array(); // one line per code $fh = fopen($adfile, "r"); while(!feof($fh)) { $line = fgets($fh, 10240); $line = trim($line); if($line != "") { $ads[] = $line; } } // randomly pick an code $num = count($ads); $idx = rand(0, $num-1); echo $ads[$idx]; ?> The code.txt has lines like <?php print insert_proplayer( array( "width" => "600", "height" => "400" ), "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnPCpCVepCg"); ?> Proplayer is a wordpress plugin that displays a video. The codes in code.txt work well, but not when I use the pick line from code.txt. Instead of the full php line I get: "width" => "600", "height" => "400" ), "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnPCpCVepCg"); ?> How can I make the echo show the php code, rather than a txt version of the php code?

  • qTip pop ups come in from top left of screen (on first load)

    - by franko75
    Hi, not sure if i'm set things up incorrectly - I don't seem to see anyone else with this problem, but my qTip popups (all ajax loaded content) are loading quite erratically, in that they are often animating in from off screen before appearing in the correct position. Is there a simple solution to this which I may have missed? Thanks again for your help. HTML markup: <span class="formInfo"> <a href="http://localhost/httpdocs/index.php/help/kc_dob" class="jTip" name="" id="dob_help">?</a> </span> qTip initialisation.. //set up for qtip function initQtip() { $('a.jTip').each(function() { $(this).qtip( { content: { // Set the text to an image HTML string with the correct src URL to the loading image you want to use text: '<img src="/media/images/wait.gif" alt="Loading..." />', url: $(this).attr('href') // Use the rel attribute of each element for the url to load }, position: { adjust: { screen: true // Keep the tooltip on-screen at all times } }, show: { when: 'click', solo: true // Only show one tooltip at a time }, hide: 'unfocus', style: { tip: true, // Apply a speech bubble tip to the tooltip at the designated tooltip corner border: { width: 10, radius: 10 }, width: { min: 200, max: 500 }, name: 'light' // Use the default light style } }); //prevent default event on click }).bind('click', function(event){ event.preventDefault(); return false; }); }

  • Flex component setActualSize

    - by dlots
    I am a little confused about the setActualSize method. It appears from what I've read, that if it is not called on a component by its parent, the component will not be rendered. So it appears that setActualSize is a critical method that is directly bound to rendering the UIComponent. It also appears that the width and height properties of UIComponent override the functionality of the width and height properties of flash.display.DisplayObject, in that they are not directly bound to the rendering of the object but are virtual values that are mainly used by the getExplicitOrMeasured when the parent of the component calls the component's setActualSize method. So the question are: 1) Why isn't the default behavior of every component to just call setActualSize(getExplicitOrMeasuredWidth(),getExplicitOrMeasuredHeight()) on itself? 2) I guess this question stems from the above question and the behavior as I understand it as described above: does setActualSize change the visibility of the component? It appears that that the behavior is that a component is not rendered until setActualSize is called, but if it contains display object children itself (expected behavior as it can calculate measure on itself) and is added to the display list, the only reason why flash isn't rendering it, is because its not visible. 3) Relating to question #1, does updateDisplayList of UIComponent have a method that goes through its children calling setActualSize on each of them?

  • Windows Media Player on top other DIV

  • "Invalid Object Format Name" in Crystal Reports

    - by cmays90
    When working with Crystal Report Field Objects and attempting to set "EnableSuppress" to False or alter the position or width of a field object is generating an "Invalid Object Format Name" error. The debugger shows all my code running without error until attempting to actually load the report. At that point, it will run the first couple without problem, then it fails when messing with a field object, and none of the rest will run. The code is shown below. Everything that generates an error is a FieldObject, but not all fieldObjects generate errors. In the code below, everything in Section2 is a TextObject and everything in Section3 is a FieldObject. If condition = True Then 'Lines marked as runs ok, only run when a line that generates an error is not present before it. Report.Section2.ReportObjects("Text7").Left = 7830 'Runs ok Report.Section3.ReportObjects("Field4").Left = 8085 'Runs ok Report.Section2.ReportObjects("Text13").ObjectFormat.EnableSuppress = False 'Runs ok Report.Section3.ReportObjects("Field28").ObjectFormat.EnableSuppress = False 'error Report.Section2.ReportObjects("Text9").Left = 10830 'Runs ok Report.Section3.ReportObjects("Field23").Left = 10830 'error Report.Section3.ReportObjects("Field23").Width = 615 'error Report.Section2.ReportObjects("Text10").Left = 11445 'Runs ok Report.Section3.ReportObjects("Field25").Left = 11445 'Runs ok End If

  • Why would an image (the Mandelbrot) be skewed and wrap around?

    - by Sean D
    So I just wrote a little snippet to generate the Mandelbrot fractal and imagine my surprise when it came out all ugly and skewed (as you can see at the bottom). I'd appreciate a point in the direction of why this would even happen. It's a learning experience and I'm not looking for anyone to do it for me, but I'm kinda at a dead end debugging it. The offending generation code is: module Mandelbrot where import Complex import Image main = writeFile "mb.ppm" $ imageMB 1000 mandelbrotPixel x y = mb (x:+y) (0:+0) 0 mb c x iter | magnitude x > 2 = iter | iter >= 255 = 255 | otherwise = mb c (c+q^2) (iter+1) where q = x --Mandelbrot --q = (abs.realPart $ x) :+ (abs.imagPart $ x) --Burning Ship argandPlane x0 x1 y0 y1 width height = [(x,y)| y<-[y1,(y1-dy)..y0], --traverse from x<-[x0,(x0+dx)..x1]] --top-left to bottom-right where dx = (x1 - x0)/width dy = (y1 - y0)/height drawPicture :: (a->b->c)->(c->Colour)->[(a,b)]->Image drawPicture function colourFunction plane = map (colourFunction.uncurry function) plane imageMB s = createPPM s s $ drawPicture mandelbrotPixel (\x->[x,x,x]) $ argandPlane (-1.8) (-1.7) (0.02) 0.055 s' s' where s' = fromIntegral s And the image code (which I'm fairly confident in) is: module Image where type Colour = [Int] type Image = [Colour] createPPM :: Int -> Int -> Image -> String createPPM w h i = concat ["P3 ", show w, " ", show h, " 255\n", unlines.map (unwords.map show) $ i]

  • Binding Listbox item source to a collection of collections in windows phone 7

    - by Tee
    Hi there, I am trying to bind a Listbox ItemSource to a collection of multiple Lists. i.e. List PersonCollection List Person List Collection Now I need to show items from both of these list. In wpf you could use HierarchicalDataTemplate i believe, but not sure how I can do it in windows phone 7. Tried with Blend and it generates the following data template. <DataTemplate x:Key="PersonDataTemplate"> <Grid> <StackPanel Margin="0,0,1,0" Orientation="Vertical" VerticalAlignment="Top"> <TextBlock Margin="0,0,1,0" TextWrapping="Wrap" Text="{Binding Person[0].Name}" d:LayoutOverrides="Width"/> <TextBlock Margin="0,0,1,0" TextWrapping="Wrap" Text="{Binding Collection[0].Total}" d:LayoutOverrides="Width"/> </StackPanel> </Grid> </DataTemplate> Is there another way I can do this? I have tried to set the DataContext of Textbox in DataTemplate to individual arrays but did not seem to work. Cant find anything similar on the net apart from the confirmation that HierarchicalDataTemplate is not supported in Windows Phone 7. I have other ways to do but none elegant.. Thanks in advance. • Is there a way to reload the page after <fb:like> is clicked?

    - by joon
    Hi, I'm wondering about this: I have a simple facebook-connect app that will only show certain content after you login and liked a certain page. It works (huzzah!) but I want to make it more user friendly by making it refresh automatically after you pressed the like button. Here's some code: <?php if ($me) { $pageid = -----------; $uid = $me['id']; $likeID = $facebook->api( array( 'method' => 'fql.query', 'query' => 'SELECT target_id FROM connection WHERE source_id = ' . $uid . ' AND target_id = ' . $pageid ) ); if ( empty($likeID) ) { // Person is LOGGED IN, but has NOT LIKED echo '<script src="MY WEBPAGE"></script><fb:like href="MY WEBPAGE" layout="box_count" show_faces="false" width="450"></fb:like>'; } else { // Person is LOGGED IN, and has LIKED, score! echo 'Download link'; } } else { // Person is NOT LOGGED IN, so we know NOTHING echo '<script src="MY WEBPAGE"></script><fb:like href="MY WEBPAGE" layout="box_count" show_faces="false" width="450"></fb:like>'; } ?> Is there anything I can do to this code (maybe in the fb:like tag?) that makes it reload the page after a like? Thanks.

  • How to hide canvas content from parent rounded corners in any webkit for Mac?

    - by Jose Rui Santos
    I have a parent div with rounded corners that contains a canvas: <div id="box"> <canvas width="300px" height="300px"></canvas> </div>? #box { width: 150px; height: 150px; background-color: blue; border-radius: 50px; overflow: hidden; }? The canvas renders a red rectangle that overflows the parent. As expected, this is what I get in all browsers: The problem: However, for webkit browsers running in Mac OS lion (I tested Safari 5.1.5 and Chrome 19), the canvas is still visible in the round corners: Interestingly, this problem seems to happen only when the inner element is a canvas. For any other child element, the content is correctly hidden. One workaround would be to apply the same rounded corners to the canvas itself, but unfortunately this is not possible, since I need to animate the canvas relative position. Another workaround that should work, is to redraw the canvas in a clipped region that resembles the rounded corners shape, but I would prefer a cleaner CSS3 solution. So, does one know how to fix this for Safari and Chrome on Mac? EDIT: Problem also happens in Chrome on Win7 jsFiddle here

  • Gradient fills only half the cell

    - by Gopal
    Hi, How do I get the IE gradient function here in this code sample to completely fill the table cell? With the code given below, I could only get it to cover the upper half of the cell. <HTML> <HEAD> <style> <!--table .cl1 { font-family:Comic Sans MS; font-size:11.0pt; color:#800000; border-left:1.5pt solid #000000; border-top:1.5pt solid #000000; border-right:1.5pt solid #000000; border-bottom:1.5pt solid #000000; background-color:#ffffff; filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Gradient(GradientType=1, StartColorStr='#ffffff', EndColorStr='#99cc00') progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.dropshadow(Color='#660000', Positive='true', OffX=0, OffY=0); } --> </style></HEAD> <BODY> <table x:str cellspacing=0 style='table-layout:fixed; border-left:1.0pt solid; border-top:1.0pt solid; border-right:1.0pt solid; border-bottom:1.0pt solid; border-left-color:#c0c0c0; border-top-color:#c0c0c0; border-right-color:#c0c0c0; border-bottom-color:#c0c0c0; '> <col style='width:67pt;'> <tr style='height:28.00pt'> <td class=cl1 style='width:67pt;'>Cell Text</td> </tr> </BODY> </HTML>

  • CSS positioning div above another div when not in that order in the HTML

    - by devmode
    Given a template where the HTML cannot be modified because of other requirements, how is it possible to display a div above another div when they are not in that order in the HTML and both divs contain data that could produce a varying height and width. HTML: <div id="wrapper"     <div id="firstDiv"         Content to be below in this situation     </div     <div id="secondDiv"         Content to be above in this situation     </div </div Other elements Hopefully it is obvious that the desired result is: Content to be above in this situation Content to be below in this situation Other elements When the dimensions are fixed it easy to position them where needed, but I need some ideas for when the content is variable. For the sake of this scenario, please just consider the width to be 100% on both. Edit: A CSS solution is the most ideal solution. Thank you for the Javascript options mentioned. Without getting too wordy about what or why (or who) ... I am specifically looking for a CSS only solution (and it will probably have to be met with other solutions if that doesn't pan out). One more ... there are other elements following this. A good suggestion was mentioned given the limited scenario I demonstrated -- given that it might be the best answer, but I am looking to also make sure elements following this aren't impacted.

  • Cocos2d on iPhone: Using Sprites Defined in Separate Class Files.

    - by srikanth rongali
    I'm trying to draw two sprites on the same screen. I have defined the two sprite objects in two separate class files. If I comment out two lines (see "item 1" comment below) then I get a display as [a backgroundimage[background2.jpg] with a sprite[grossini.png] on the left side. If I uncomment the two lines I do not get the background image and sprite of (gameScreen.m). I get only the sprite [grossinis_sister1.png] defined in (enemy.m). But what I need is a [backgroundimage[background2.jpg]], sprite[grossini.png] and sprite [grossinis_sister1.png] in one screen. This is implementation file of my first class: #import "gameScreen.h" #import "enemy.h" @implementation gameScreen -(id)init { if((self = [super init])) { CCSprite *backGroundImage = [CCSprite spriteWithFile:@"background2.jpg"]; backGroundImage.anchorPoint = ccp(0,0); CCParallaxNode *voidNode = [CCParallaxNode node]; [voidNode addChild:backGroundImage z:-1 parallaxRatio:ccp(0.0f,0.0f) positionOffset:CGPointZero]; [self addChild:voidNode]; CGSize windowSize = [[CCDirector sharedDirector] winSize]; CCSprite *player = [CCSprite spriteWithFile:@"grossini.png"]; player.position = ccp(player.contentSize.width/2, windowSize.height/2); [self addChild:player z:0]; //eSprite = [[enemy alloc]init]; //<-- see item 1 //[self addChild:eSprite]; } return self; } This is my implementation file of my second class: #import "enemy.h" #import "gameScreen.h" @implementation enemy -(id)init { if ((self = [super init])) { CGSize windowSize = [[CCDirector sharedDirector] winSize]; CCSprite *enemySprite = [CCSprite spriteWithFile:@"grossinis_sister1.png" ]; enemySprite.position = ccp(windowSize.width/2, windowSize.height/2); [self addChild:enemySprite]; } return self; } @end

  • How can I change the language of dynamic text in a SWF using flashvars?

    - by Cormac
    I have a SWF with text embedded from an external .txt file. Is there a way I can have a different file used as the text source through the embedcode (swfObject) depending on the language? Here is my current actionscript: myData = new LoadVars(); myData.onLoad = function() { text_clips.project_title.text = this.projecttitle1; }; myData.load("translatetext.txt"); var loader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader(); loader.loadClip(_level0.projectimage1,pic1.image_holder); This is the content of translatetext.txt: projecttitle1=This is my translatable text This is the embed code I'm using: <div> <object width="960" height="275" id="rvFlashcontent"> <param name="movie" value="lang_test_3.swf" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <param name="flashvars" value="projectimage1=flashimages/testimage.jpg" /> <!--[if !IE]>--> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="lang_test_3.swf" width="960" height="275"> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <param name="flashvars" value="projectimage1=flashimages/testimage.jpg" /> <!--<![endif]--> <h1>Alt Content</h1> <!--[if !IE]>--> </object> <!--<![endif]--> </object> </div> What I want to do is add a Flashvars parameter to name the file to load, so I can change the language: <param name="flashvars" value="projectimage1=flashimages/image.jpg&projecttext=textfrench.txt" /> There are four languages needed so far, but this will grow so it needs to be flexible enough to let the developers add languages without getting a new SWF each time. Thanks in advance all!

  • HTML Double Click Selection Oddity

    - by Aren B
    I didn't post this on DocType because it's not really a design thing, the visual representation isn't my problem, the behaviour is. I'm sorry if this is misplaced but I don't feel it's a designer issue. The following DOM: <ul style="overflow: hidden;"> <li style="float: left;"><strong>SKU:</strong>123123</li> <li style="float: left;"><strong>ILC:</strong>asdasdasdasd</li> </ul> Or <div style="overflow: hidden;"> <div style="float: left; width: 49%"><strong>SKU:</strong>123123</div> <div style="margin-left: 50%; width: auto;"><strong>ILC:</strong>asdasdasdasd</div> </div> Or <p> <span><strong>SKU:</strong>123123</span> <span><strong>ILC:</strong>asdasdasdasd</span> </p> All present me an odd problem in IE 6 IE 7 Firefox 3.x Chrome But not in IE 8 When you double click '123123' after 'SKU:', it selects '123123' AND 'ILC:' from the next dom element. Take any text on this page (here in SO), double click a word, it only selects THAT WORD, even in the middle of a paragraph. These examples have dom elements closing them, anyone know why this is happening. My fellow employees use the 'double click' mechanism to select the relevant product ID's to do their job, and this dosen't make sense to me what soever.

    I'm trying to put a progress bar inside td of my table. Here's the code: <td style="width: 150px; max-height: 16px;"> <div style="height: 16px; max-height: 16px; overflow: hidden; border: 1px solid #80C622;"> <div style="height: 16px; width: 10%; background-color: #bbea7d;"></div> <div style="margin-top: -16px; text-align: center;"> 1470/14166 </div> </div> </td> Chrome, Firefox, Safari and (!) IE displays it correctly, whereas Opera extends the row so there is some extra space above. Here's how it's supposed to look like: http://ipicture.ru/uploads/100616/16el6B3lB1.png Here's how it looks in Opera: http://ipicture.ru/uploads/100616/fE4Ad63N1l.png

  • How do I capture keystrokes on the web?

    - by Sean
    Using PHP, JS, or HTML (or something similar) how would I capture keystokes? Such as if the user presses ctrl+f or maybe even just f, a certain function will happen. ++++++++++++++++++++++++EDIT+++++++++++++++++++ Ok, so is this correct, because I can't get it to work. And I apologize for my n00bness is this is an easy question, new to jQuery and still learning more and more about JS. <script> var element = document.getElementById('capture'); element.onkeypress = function(e) { var ev = e || event; if(ev.keyCode == 70) { alert("hello"); } } </script> <div id="capture"> Hello, Testing 123 </div> ++++++++++++++++EDIT++++++++++++++++++ Here is everything, but I can't get it to work: <link rel="icon" href="favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon"> <style> * { margin: 0px } div { height: 250px; width: 630px; overflow: hidden; vertical-align: top; position: relative; background-color: #999; } iframe { position: absolute; left: -50px; top: -130px; } </style> <script> document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].onkeyup = function(e) { var ev = e || event; if(ev.keyCode == 70 && ev.ctrlKey) { //control+f alert("hello"); } } </script> <div id="capture"> Hello, Testing 123<!--<iframe src="http://www.pandora.com/" scrolling="no" width="1000" height="515"frameborder="0"></iframe>--> </div>

  • How can I programmatically position a view using relative points?

    - by Steve Madsen
    What is the best way to position a view relative to the size of its superview, when the bounds of the superview are not yet known? I am trying to avoid hard-coding coordinates if it is at all possible. Perhaps this is silly, and if so, that's a perfectly acceptable answer. I've run into this many times when working with custom UI. The most recent example is that I'm trying to replace the UINavigationItem plain-text title with a custom view. I want that view to fill the superview, but in addition, I want a UIActivityIndicatorView on the right side, inset about 2 pixels and centered vertically. Here's the code: - (void) viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; customTitleView = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectZero]; customTitleView.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleHeight | UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleWidth; titleLabel = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectZero]; titleLabel.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleHeight | UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleWidth; titleLabel.lineBreakMode = UILineBreakModeWordWrap; titleLabel.numberOfLines = 2; titleLabel.minimumFontSize = 11.0; titleLabel.font = [UIFont systemFontOfSize:17.0]; titleLabel.adjustsFontSizeToFitWidth = YES; [customTitleView addSubview:titleLabel]; spinnerView = [[UIActivityIndicatorView alloc] initWithActivityIndicatorStyle:UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleWhite]; spinnerView.center = CGPointMake(customTitleView.bounds.size.width - (spinnerView.bounds.size.width / 2) - 2, customTitleView.bounds.size.height / 2); spinnerView.hidesWhenStopped = YES; [customTitleView addSubview:spinnerView]; self.navigationItem.titleView = customTitleView; [customTitleView release]; } Here's my problem: at the time that this code runs, customTitleView.bounds is still zeroes. The auto-resizing mask hasn't had a chance to do its thing yet, but I very much want those values so that I can compute the relative positions of other sub-views (here, the activity indicator). Is this possible without being ugly?

  • JQuery: How to apply css to a .wrap element?

    - by Eamonn
    My code thus far: $(".lorem img:not(.full-img)").each(function() { $(this).addClass("inline-img"); var imgWidth = $(this).prop('width'); var imgHeight = $(this).prop('height'); var imgFloat = $(this).prop('float'); $(this).wrap('<div class="inline-img-wrap" />'); if ($(this).prop("title")!='') { $('<p class="inline-img-caption">').text($(this).prop('title')).insertAfter($(this)); } }); I am searching for images within a body of text, appending their title values as captions underneath, and wrapping both img and p in a div.inline-img-wrap. That works fine. What I need help with is applying the styling of the img to the new wrapping div instead. You can see I have created vars for just this, but cannot get applying them to work. $this will always apply to the image, and <div class="inline-img-wrap" style="width:'+imgWidth+'"> doesn't work. All advice appreciated!

  • How to use ID selector after jQuery html()

    - by user555617
    It's amazing to try to understand why the function alert("hello") is not generated after clicking more than once... There is some method to do this function is executed? Note that doesn't work after update using html() involving id "press" in button. Any idea? See: http://jsbin.com/atuqu3 JavaScript: $(document).ready(function (){ $("#press").click(function() { $("#relation-states").html('<select id="state" name="state"> <option value="Texas">Texas</option> </select><button id="press" type="button" title="" aria-haspopup="true" style="width: 175px;"><span>Select an item</span></button>');; alert("hello"); }); }); HTML: <div id="relation-states"> <select id="state" name="state"> <option value="New York">New York</option> </select> <button id="press" type="button" title="" aria-haspopup="true" style="width: 175px;"><span>Select an item</span></button> </div>

  • HTML input not working correctly with AJAX update panels used else where on page

    - by Sean P
    I have some update panels on my page that do some asyncpostbacks to keep some dropdownlists correctly populated. My problem is that on my page i have an HTML input that is handling some file uploads. With the AJAX on the page with asyncpostbacks, and while i step through my code behind, the files arent being uploaded. Using a postbacktrigger (non-async) is not possible because of my layout. Here is my code: <div id="divFileInputs" runat="server"> <input id="file1" name="fileInput" type="file" runat="server" size="50" style="width: 50em" onfocus="AddFileInput()" class="textbox" /></div> <select id="selectFileList" name="ListBox1" size="5" style="width: 50em; text-align: left;" class="textbox" /> <input id="RemoveAttachmentButton" type="button" value="Remove" onclick="RemoveFileInput()" class="removebutton " /> </div> Here is my code behind: Protected Sub CopyAttachments(ByVal issueId As String) Dim files As HttpFileCollection = Request.Files Dim myStream As System.IO.Stream Dim service As New SubmitService.Service For i As Integer = 0 To files.Count - 1 Dim postedFile As HttpPostedFile = files(i) Dim fileNameWithoutPath As String = System.IO.Path.GetFileName(postedFile.FileName) If fileNameWithoutPath.Length > 0 And issueId.Length > 0 Then Dim fileLength As Integer = postedFile.ContentLength Dim fileContents(fileLength) As Byte ' Read the file into the byte array. Send it to the web service. myStream = postedFile.InputStream myStream.Read(fileContents, 0, fileLength) service.ClearQuestAttachToIssue(issueId, fileNameWithoutPath, fileContents) End If Next service = Nothing End Sub When I put a breakpoint in at the declaration of service and then check the value of "files", the count is 0. I am expecting it to be 2 when i have one file uploaded. Anyone know how to fix this?

  • Actionscript: How Can I Know When The Source Property Of An Image Is Completely Updated

    - by Joshua
    var I:Image=new Image(); I.source='C:\\Abc.png'; var H:int=I.height; H is always Zero! I am presuming this is because the image hasn't finished reading the png file off the disk yet. What event can I monitor to know when it's width and height will have the right values? The 'Complete' event only seems to work for DOWNLOADED images. The 'Render' event happens EVERY FRAME. The (undocumented?) 'sourceChanged', happens as soon as source changes, and has the same problem! What event do I watch that will let me know when the image's width and height properties will have valid values? Or is there some Synchronous version of I.source='xxx.png', that I don't know about? P.S. Yes, I know I shouldn't use "C:\" in an Air Program. This was just for illustrative purposes, so that you won't suggest I use "Complete", which never even seems to fire when the file indicated by source is local.

  • jQuery slideDown + CSS Floats

    - by danilo
    I'm using a HTML Table with several rows. Every second row - containing details about the preceding row - is hidden using CSS. When clicking the first row, the second row gets showed using jQuery show(). This is quite nice, but I would prefer the slideDown-Effect. The problem is, inside the details row, there are two floating DIVs, one floating on the left, and one on the right. Now if i slideDown the previously hidden row, the contained DIVs behave strange and "jump around". See this animated gif to understand what I mean: http://ich-wars-nicht.ch/tmp/lunapic_127365879362365_.gif The markup: <tr class="row-vm"> <td>...</td> ... </tr> <tr class="row-details"> <td colspan="8"> <div class="vmdetail-left"> ... </div> <div class="vmdetail-right"> ... </div> </td> </tr> The CSS: .table-vmlist tr.row-details { display: none; } div.vmdetail-left { float: left; width: 50%; } div.vmdetail-right { float: right; width: 50%; } And the jQuery code: if ($(this).next().css('display') == 'none') { // Show details //$(this).next().show(); $(this).next().slideDown(); } else { // Hide details //$(this).next().hide(); $(this).next().slideUp(); } Is there a way to fix this behavior, and to implement a nice slideDown-effect?

  • How to use clearInterval() and then make changes to the DOM?

    - by George D.
    I have this code and the problem I have is that I want to stop the loop and then replace the text 'Done!' that comes from the sms-loader.php script with the "textnew" string. Problem is that the loop occurs one more time so the text in the div.checkstatus field is again replaced by the calling php script. The strange thing is that I see the log message and again I get a new (and final) request, although the ordering is the opposite (first stop then replace text()) in my script. I need to understand why this is happening. $(document).ready(function() { var interval = ""; $('.checkstatus').each(function(){ var msgid = $(this).data('msg') $this = $(this), hid = $this.data('history'), textnew = '<a href="sms-dstatus.php?id='+msgid+'&sid=' +hid+ '&amp;keepThis=true&amp;TB_iframe=true&amp;height=430&amp;width=770" title="Delivery Status" class="thickbox"><img src="../template/icons/supermini/chart_curve.png" alt="status" width="16" height="16" /></a>'; interval = setInterval(function() { $this.load('../pages/sms-loader.php?id='+msgid); // stop the loop if($this.text()=='Done!'){ // stop it clearInterval(interval); console.log(textnew); this.html(textnew); /// this line is the problem } }, 5000); // 5 secs }); });

  • TableLayout formatting loss after device rotation

    - by roundhill
    I'm seeing a strange issue with a TableLayout after the device is rotated from either orientation. If you load the view in either portrait or landscape mode, the table loads fine. But once you rotate the device, the columns collapse to just fit their width. I would expect that after rotation, the columns would still stretch to fit the width of the screen. Any ideas on what can be done to resolve this? Screenies and layout code below. Before Rotation: After Rotation: Table Layout: <TableLayout android:id="@+id/dataTable" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:layout_weight="1" android:layout_below="@id/chart" android:stretchColumns="*" android:shrinkColumns="*" android:padding="6dip" > </TableLayout> Table Row: <TableRow xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent"> <TextView android:id="@+id/col1" android:layout_marginRight="2dip" android:textColorLink="#FF21759b" android:text="Column 1" android:padding="4dip" android:textColor="#FF464646"/> <TextView android:id="@+id/col2" android:text="Column 2" android:textColor="#FF464646" android:padding="4dip"/> </TableRow> Thanks!
