  I have a python method that returns a Python byte array.array('c'). Now, I want to copy this array using System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.Copy. This method however expects a .NET array. import array from System.Runtime.InteropServices import Marshal bytes = array.array('c') bytes.append('a') bytes.append('b') bytes.append('c') Marshal.Copy(bytes, dest, 0, 3) Is there a way to make this work without copying the data? When I call the method: UIVideoAtPathIsCompatibleWithSavedPhotosAlbum(path) It reports the error: Implicit declaration of function 'UIVideoAtPathIsCompatibleWithSavedPhotosAlbum' I've imported MobileCoreServices/UTCoreTypes.h I was previously using this same code for saving camera pictures, and it worked fine. In another class, in the same project, I am able to reference the UIKit method: UIImagePNGRepresentation() without any problems So why does it give me this error?

  I'm trying to decide between two ways of instantiating an object & handling any constructor exceptions for an object that is critical to my program, i.e. if construction fails the program can't continue. I have a class SimpleMIDIOut that wraps basic Win32 MIDI functions. It will open a MIDI device in the constructor and close it in the destructor. It will throw an exception inherited from std::exception in the constructor if the MIDI device cannot be opened. • Get the Grid data in ColumnHeaderClick

  Sorrry guys, I'm stuck here. I have a few grids, I also have CollectionViewSource objects associated with those grids. Now, I'm trying to apply CollectionViewSource.SortDescriptions in ColumnHeaderClick method, and now I have to define almost the same method for each grid. But the only thing I really need is to obtain in which Grid is happenning. How to get that, I have no idea. Help me please. VisualTreeHelper.GetParent didn't work.

• Recursively find files/directories within a directory

  I want to use enumeratorAtURL:includingPropertiesForKeys:options:errorHandler: to do this, as I'm coding under Snow Leopard. I know how to use this method. However, as for my purposes it's not adequate to load the contents lazily, I have the following question: How can I create an object hierarchy (of, say, the custom FileOrDirectory class with the standard children,count,isLeaf attributes) from the information I load from the enumeratorAtURL: method? I need to load this data beforehand, and show it in an outline view, for my purposes.

• Call trace in Android

  I want to know how to do method tracing for Android applications. I mean, a sequence of calls on each object, not a stack trace. It's very similar to this question (Call trace in java), but on different platforms (jvm-PC vs dvm-Android). I have no control over the start arguments of dalvik, thus I cannot specify a java agent (or am I wrong here?). Is there another way to do method tracing? Thanks!
