• Loading table sections when using headers

  I cant seem to wrap my head around this. I have googled, and overstacked for hours now looking for examples that i can relate to. What I have is two arrays. The name of my first NSMutableArray is "showDates". I have 3 objects in here. Object 0: "Today, May 20th" Object 1: "Tomorrow, May 21st" Object 2: "Saturday, May 22nd" Then I have my second NSMutableArray named "showTimes" I have about 15 objects in there with strings in each object. ( i hope that makes sense? ) Each object is structured like this: Object 0: showID @"98022" eventID @"833" showTime @"1:30pm" showDate @"Today, May 20th" auditorium @"9" venue @"2991" Object 1: showID @"98222" eventID @"813" showTime @"2:30pm" showDate @"Tomorrow, May 21st" auditorium @"9" venue @"2991" Etc, etc, .... I have the headers working great in my tableView, but I cant seem to figure out how to add the objects in my "showTimes" array under the correct header. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• LDAP in medium trust

  I've have a solution with one website and several projects. The projects all have the AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers attribute and are strongly-named. The site works in full trust. However, after set the trust to medium, I get the System.Security.SecurityException: Request failed. error as soon as I browse to the site. In my projects, I have calls to LogOnUser, as well as many calls to variousSystem.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement methods. Can this site run with medium trust or do I have to have full trust for all the LDAP calls? As I mentioned, I've set the AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers attribute on all projects. Not sure what else to do. Also, I have no idea what/where the error is being generated. The event logs on the server have nothing in regards to this SecurityException. Is there any way to find out what the error location is so maybe I can attempt to rewrite some code? [running .NET 4.0 on Win2k8R2]

• JQuery cookie access has stopped working for GAE app

  I have a google app engine app that has been running for some time, and some javascript code that checks for a login cookie has suddenly stopped working. As far as I can tell, NO code has changed. The relevant code uses the jquery cookies plugin (jquery.cookies.2.2.0.min.js)... // control the default screen depending // if someone is logged in if( $.cookies.get('dev_appserver_login') != null || $.cookies.get('ACSID') != null ) { alert("valid cookie!") $("#inventory-container").show(); } else { alert("INvalid cookie!") $("#welcome-container").show(); } The reason for the two checks is that in the GAE SDK, the cookies are named differently. The production system uses 'ACSID'. This if statement works in the SDK and now fails 100% of the time in production. I have verified that the cookie is, in fact, present when I inspect the page. Thoughts?

• Error using MVCContrib TestHelper

  While trying to implement the second answer to a previous question, I am receiving an error. I have implemented the methods just as the post shows, and the first three work properly. The fourth one (HomeController_Delete_Action_Handler_Should_Redirect_If_Model_Successfully_Delete) gives this error: Could not find a parameter named 'controller' in the result's Values collection. If I change the code to: actual .AssertActionRedirect() .ToAction("Index"); it works properly, but I don't like the "magic string" in there and prefer to use the lambda method that the other poster used. My controller method looks like this: [HttpPost] public ActionResult Delete(State model) { try { if( model == null ) { return View( model ); } _stateService.Delete( model ); return RedirectToAction("Index"); } catch { return View( model ); } } What am I doing wrong?

  Hi, Right now i'm working on a project which involves in converting pdf docs to swf file. Using FlexPaper (http://flexpaper.devaldi.com/), I converted pdf to swf. I have used deeplinking concepts to link to a particular page from external html link, but if I want to link to a particular bookmark/named destination, I can not be able to do so. • Localizing other pages in Settings.bundle

  I have other pages within my app preferences which are stored as separate files within the settings.bundle. It has come time to localize my app and I can only seem to get the Root values to localize. I was wondering whether there was a trick? The following image shows that my second screen is stored within a file called "MyPrefs.plist" and I have created a corresponding named file "MyPrefs.strings" in the en.lproj directory. Mirroring the same naming and location as the Root.plist and Root.strings. The values with the Root.plist are converted as expected but not in the extra screen. Is there any trick to localizing secondary screens with the settings.bundle?

  My website uses categories and sub-categories. I'd like the follow mapping: /Category/Fruit /Category/Fruit/Apples But if I use the below: routes.MapRoute( "Category", // Route name "Category/{category}/{subcategory}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Entity", action = "Category" } // Parameter defaults ); I get a 404 for /Category/Fruit however /Category/Fruit/Apples works ok. I'd like /Category/Fruit to work as well but I can't add another route with the same name. How do I get around this? Thanks in advance.

• Connecting to MSSQL Express in silverlight 4 appl, the db doesn't shows up in Management Studio Expr

  I'm using MSSQLExpress named instance in my Silverlight 4 application. The database located in the web application data folder. I attached the db via VS2010. The program works, but the db doesn't show up in Management Studio Express. If I delete the connection from within VS2010, and Try to attach to db via Management Studio Express, on writes, that the database with same the name already exists. Why the database connected via VS2010 doesn't show up in Management Studio Express? Thanks in advance Gabor

• JSF Open new window and display bean data

  I am running JSF 2.0 and the latest version of Primefaces 2.2RC1 I believe. I am trying to create a printer friendly window. When the user clicks on a p:commandLink I want a new window to open and display a xhtml file I have named printView.xhtml. Now I can get the window working fine using JavaScript window.open but when I open the new window it will not render any values it just displays everything as #{myBean.value}. Does anyone know how to properly open a window and extend the current scope of the application into that window so I can call all of my managed beans properly and display the values etc. etc.

• Collections not read from hibernate/ehcache second-level-cache

  I'm trying to cache lazy loaded collections with ehcache/hibernate in a Spring project. When I execute a session.get(Parent.class, 123) and browse through the children multiple times a query is executed every time to fetch the children. The parent is only queried the first time and then resolved from the cache. Probably I'm missing something, but I can't find the solution. Please see the relevant code below.   Dear all, I have to say sorry for my poor English first... I have a string named s_Result which will be parsed from Internet, the format may be "Distance: 2.8km (about 9 mins)", and there are 4 variables which are f_Distance, m_DistanceUnit, f_timeEst, m_timeEstUnit. My question is, how to parse s_Result and assign 2.8, km, 9, mins into f_Distance, m_distanceUnit, f_timeEst, and m_timeEstUnit respectively using regular expression?? I tried using "\d+(.\d+)?" in RegEx Tester and the result showed 2 matches found, but if use "\\d+(\\.\\d+)?" in Android code, it showed nothing matched!!! Is there any suggestion?? • Sharing code between sqlite-net and servicestack ormlite?

  I am using sqlite-net to store data on my MonoDroid mobile application. I am wanting to sync this data with a server side service as well. Would it be possible to share the code for my Entity objects between sqlite-net and Servicestacks ormlite? The main difference between the two that I can see is declaring the "using namespace" statements at the top of the class for the object. Is it possible to detect the platform and set the using statements based on the platform? The other difference would be referencing the different dlls for servicestack so I suppose on the mobile app it would not compile if there are references to the servicestack namespaces... What would a good approach be to achieve sharing of this code?

  Why default factory WON'T return full name of the controllers (with namespaces)? This creates a problem when I try to regiser controllers' names for dependency injection. Here is how I register controllers right now according to this situation. Even this brings up the pages without exception.   I've created an Area named "Admin". I've created also a controller(Pages) and a view(List) in this areas. When I run my app and enter the url "/Admin/Pages/List" I'm getting an The resource cannot be found error. When I enter /Pages/List, the Action method is hit but the view is not found,because the app is searching in wrong directories ~/Views/Pages/List.aspx ~/Views/Pages/List.ascx ~/Views/Shared/List.aspx ~/Views/Shared/List.ascx the view is in /Admin/Pages/List. • Caching instances in a jee web app

  Hi, Consider the scenario of a typical webapp with JSFs on the front and ejb3, with Hibernate as JPA provider, talking to backend database such as mysql, etc. The main user actions are login and mostly CRUD operations (minus any D(elete) operations). And the App Server is GlassFish of course. Given this scenario, how and where all would one go about providing caching to improve performance? From what I have googled, I have seen that hibernate provides some sort of caching through different cache providers. Is there any sort of caching that can be provided for the jsf pages? How about session beans or entity beans on the ejb side of things? Also, I just read about memcached and was wondering if this was something to consider?

  I'll do my best to explain what the algorithm is supposed to do: There's a class 'Recipe'. Each Recipe can include other Recipes but cannot include itself or any other Recipe that includes it. So, a simple example is we have just two Recipes A & B. If A adds B first, then later on B cannot add A because it will cause a loop. A more complicated example is: A,B,C (1) Recipe C Adds B (2) Recipe B Adds A (3) Recipe A attempts to add C, but can't because of the relationship. C - B - A. I can do this myself, I just wondered if this was a standard named algorithm and I could grab the optimal solution. Thanks

• Problem showing selected value of combobox when it is bind to a List<T> using Linq to Entities

  I have a combobox which is has itemtemplate applied on it and is bind to a List of entity return using linq. i m using mvvm. It is bind to it successfully but when i set the selected value of it from code at runtime to show the selected value coming from db it doesn't select it. For reference here is my combobox xaml. • Python script shows different pythonpath

  Attempting to run runsnake gives ImportError: No module named wx Opening an ipython or python session seems to work fine: >>> import wx >>> import sys >>> print [p for p in sys.path if 'wx' in p] ['/usr/local/lib/wxPython-2.9.4.0/lib/python2.7/site-packages', '/usr/local/lib/wxPython-2.9.4.0/lib/python2.7/site-packages/wx-2.9.4-osx_cocoa', '/usr/local/lib/wxPython-2.9.4.0/lib/python2.7/site-packages/wx-2.9.1-osx_cocoa/tools'] as does putting that code in a script and calling python script.py. But putting that code at the beginning of runsnake.py prints an empty list (printing the whole sys.path prints a path quite different from my $PYTHONPATH). Why would it be different, and how to I get it to recognize wxPython?

Below an example. std::string line("match this here FIELD=VALUE in the middle"); boost::regex rgx("FIELD=(?\\w+)", boost::regex::perl ); boost::smatch thisMatch; boost::regex_searh( line, thisMatch, rgx ); Do you know how to get the content of the match ? The traditional way is std::string result( mtch["VAL"].first, mtch["VAL"].second ); but i don't want to use this way. I want to use the name of the subgroups as usual in Perl and in regex in general. I tried this, but it didn't work. std::string result( mtch["VAL"].first, mtch["VAL"].second ); Do you know how to get the value using the name of the subgroup? Thanks AFG

• NHibernate, each property is filled with a different select statement

  I'm retrieving a list of nhibernate entites which have relationships to other tables/entities. I've noticed instead of NHibernate performing JOINS and populating the properties, it retrieves the entity and then calls a select for each property. For example if a user can have many roles and I retrieve a user from the DB, Nhibernate retrieves the user and then populates the roles with another select statement. The problem is that I want to retrieve oh let's say a list of products which have various many-to-many relationships and relationships to items which have their own relationships. In the end I'm left with over a thousand DB calls to retrieve a list of 30 products. Thanks. I've also set default lazy loading to false because whenever I save the list of entities to a session, I get an error when trying to retrieve it on another page: LazyInitializationException: could not initialize proxy If anybody could shed any light I would truly appreciate it. • Seam-gen isn't working properly.. log4j acuses an error

  Hello Seam Users, I'm having a couple problems with my Seam start up. I did the ./seam generate to reverse my current postgres db, which contains 4 tables, first I though everything was okay, just a warning message, but when I imported the project into eclipse, I saw that none of my packages had any class. This is the error that seam generate, got me. [hibernate] Executing Hibernate Tool with a JDBC Configuration (for reverse engineering) [hibernate] 1. task: hbm2java (Generates a set of .java files) [hibernate] log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.hibernate.cfg.Environment). [hibernate] log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. [javaformatter] Java formatting of 0 files completed. Skipped 0 file(s). Any ideas? The seam-gen was supposed to generate some entity classes, but its not. I suppose that error is causing the mis-behavior. Regards

  Let's say we have 2 classes A and B public class A{ private int member1; A() { member1 = 10; } public getMember(){ return member1; } } Class B is also on the same lines except that its member variable is named member2 and gets intitialized to say 20 inside the constructor. My Requirement : At runtime , I get a string which contains a className ( could be A or B). I want to dynamically create an object of this class along with invoking the constructor. How can I achieve this . I don't want to use interfaces for common functionality of above classes Morever, later on I set the properties of this raw object using Propery Builder Bean Util class based on a list of columns . Class clazz = Class.forName("className"); Obj obj = clazz.newInstance(); How I can dynamically convert that obj to className object.

• Code is exectuting but the view is not loading when called form a function?

  I have a viewBased application with the viewController class mainView. In it I am loading various views(different nibs) depending upon certain actions that I do. I have added a popoverController with a barbutton in the mainView. Its intialized with a tableviewController class named popClass. When I select certain row in the popover, I want the view in my mainView to load someother view(as I do when i do certain actions). For that I have written a function in mainView Controller class and is calling it from the popOver class. Function and the lines of code are executing but nothing is happening. Even the log lines are printed but no action takes place. What is the problem? OR is there anyother way to make the view change in mainView by using the popover?
