  • ASP.NET object visibility

    Hello, I have a webform with a button and a textbox. I want to set the textbox, in design time to Visible = false, and then in the onclick event of the button in the client side using javascript, I want to set the visibility of the button back to true. The problem is that I get a message saying that the object does not exist. Any idea how to solve this? TY

  • webscraper grabbing images, but not entering info into database

    Hello, again. I'm having more issues with my script entering info into my database. The script below grabs a page, strips down the necessary info, then downloads the related image file. After that, it is supposed to enter the information gleaned from the URL into the database. For some reason, the script seems to iterate through the URLs, as I get downloaded images for each URL, but each URL's product is not entered into the database. The script will insert the first product's categories and product info, and then it just stops, and continues to download images.     i keep getting a null pointer exception when trying to add an object to a priority queue i initialize the queue: private PriorityQueue<NodeObject> nodes; and here i try to add to it: NodeObject childNode = new NodeObject(child, 1); nodes.add(childNode); why doesn't this work? i know my NodeObject is not null because i create it right before i add it.

    In all the MonoTouch examples I have seen everyone is using outlets and actions on AppDelegate, yet when I've been through some objective-C webcasts I see people using an Object they drag onto XIB in Interface Builder and using that (Seems a lot cleaner). Is there just not a way to reference any Objects like that that we create? Is there a particular way to access it? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
