  • Jboss webservice client error

    - by user309281
Hi I am getting following error, when a java webservice client written using jboss webservices, tries to invoke a webservice through WSDL URL. The program is executed in java 1.5 VM installed in RHEL Any idea when this kind of exception will pop up? And moreover the IP 192.168.182.20 is not of the system from which the client program executed. javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: [192.168.182.20] is not authorized. at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.SOAPFaultHelperJAXWS.getSOAPFaultException(SOAPFaultHelperJAXWS.java:84) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.binding.SOAP11BindingJAXWS.throwFaultException(SOAP11BindingJAXWS.java:107) at org.jboss.ws.core.CommonSOAPBinding.unbindResponseMessage(CommonSOAPBinding.java:579) at org.jboss.ws.core.CommonClient.invoke(CommonClient.java:381) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.client.ClientImpl.invoke(ClientImpl.java:291) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.client.ClientProxy.invoke(ClientProxy.java:170) at org.jboss.ws.core.jaxws.client.ClientProxy.invoke(ClientProxy.java:150) at $Proxy21.send(Unknown Source)

  • Silverlight 3 DataBinding with ValueConverter: conditionally use the default value for property

    - by eriksmith200
I have a DatePicker for which I want to set the BorderBrush to SolidColorBrush(Colors.Red) if the SelectedDate is null. If a date has been filled in though, I want to just have the default BorderBrush. I still want to be able to style the default BorderBrush in Blend, so I don't want to hardcode the default borderbrush of the DatePicker. So basically: xaml: <controls:DatePicker BorderBrush="{Binding SelectedDate, RelativeSource={RelativeSource Self}, Converter={StaticResource BrushConverter}, Mode=OneWay}"/> c#: public class BrushConverter : IValueConverter { public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, CultureInfo culture) { return value == null ? new SolidColorBrush(Colors.Red) : /* when value != null have the bound property use it's default value */ } is this possible?

  • WPF: Text wrapping not working

    - by Ben
I've got a grid defined simply: <Grid Margin="0,5,0,0"> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="50"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="50"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="48"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto"></ColumnDefinition> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> Then I'm trying to bind some content like this: <TextBlock TextWrapping="Wrap" Grid.Column="3" Text="{Binding Text}"> Set up like this, the text won't wrap. It simply expands the column to fit the text. If I set the Width to a fixed amount on the last column, wrapping works as expected. The problem there is that if the user widens the window, the column stays at a fixed size. How can I get the column to size dynamically with the width of the grid, but still wrap the text within it?

  • Data bind enum properties to grid and display description

    - by TrueWill
This is a similar question to How to bind a custom Enum description to a DataGrid, but in my case I have multiple properties. public enum ExpectationResult { [Description("-")] NoExpectation, [Description("Passed")] Pass, [Description("FAILED")] Fail } public class TestResult { public string TestDescription { get; set; } public ExpectationResult RequiredExpectationResult { get; set; } public ExpectationResult NonRequiredExpectationResult { get; set; } } I'm binding a BindingList<TestResult> to a WinForms DataGridView (actually a DevExpress.XtraGrid.GridControl, but a generic solution would be more widely applicable). I want the descriptions to appear rather than the enum names. How can I accomplish this? (There are no constraints on the class/enum/attributes; I can change them at will.)

  • In Prism (CAL), how can I RegisterPresenterWithRegion instead of RegisterViewWithRegion

    - by Edward Tanguay
    I have a module in a Prism application and in its initialize method I want to register a presenter instead of a view with a region, i.e. I want to do this: PSEUDO-CODE: regionManager.RegisterPresenterWithRegion( "MainRegion", typeof(Presenters.EditCustomerPresenter)); instead of loading a view like this: regionManager.RegisterViewWithRegion( "MainRegion", typeof(Views.EditCustomerView)); The presenter would of course bring along its own view and ultimately register this view in the region, but it would allow me to bind the presenter to the view in the presenter's constructor instead of binding the two together in XAML (which is more of a decoupled MVVM pattern which I want to avoid here). How can I add a Presenter to a Region instead of a view? namespace Client.Modules.CustomerModule { [Module(ModuleName = "CustomerModule")] public class CustomerModule : IModule { private readonly IRegionManager regionManager; public CustomerModule(IRegionManager regionManager) { this.regionManager = regionManager; } public void Initialize() { regionManager.RegisterViewWithRegion("MainRegion", typeof(Views.EditCustomerView)); } } }

  • Are there any Python reference counting/garbage collection gotchas when dealing with C code?

    - by Jason Baker
Just for the sheer heck of it, I've decided to create a Scheme binding to libpython so you can embed Python in Scheme programs. I'm already able to call into Python's C API, but I haven't really thought about memory management. The way mzscheme's FFI works is that I can call a function, and if that function returns a pointer to a PyObject, then I can have it automatically increment the reference count. Then, I can register a finalizer that will decrement the reference count when the Scheme object gets garbage collected. I've looked at the documentation for reference counting, and don't see any problems with this at first glance (although it may be sub-optimal in some cases). Are there any gotchas I'm missing? Also, I'm having trouble making heads or tails of the cyclic garbage collector documentation. What things will I need to bear in mind here? In particular, how do I make Python aware that I have a reference to something so it doesn't collect it while I'm still using it?

  • Save VM properties with EF code first

    - by Julien
I thought this would be simple but can't find any good examples. public Class BookVm : ImplementsPropertyChanged { public int BookId {get;set;} private bool _favorite; public bool Favorite { get { return _favorite; } set { _favorite = value; OnPropertyChanged("Favorite"); MyDbContext.SaveChanges() // this does not work } } Then in my XAML bound to Book <CheckBox Content="Favorite" IsChecked="{Binding Favorite}" /> How and when do I call SaveChanges() on my DatabaseContext? I don't want to implement a save button. If I intercept the PropertyChange event and call SaveChanges, nothing seems to happen. My object is modified in memory but the database does not see a change. My BookVm class is created on application startup like so: foreach (var book in MyDbContext.Books) Books.Add(book); Where Books is an ObservableCollection<Book> in my MainWindowVm

  • WPF - Listbox bound to collection acts as one item

    - by user553765
Hi, I have a listbox with the ItemsControl binding the ItemsSource to a readonly collection of strings. The ItemTemplate then declares the DataTemplate as a checkbox where its content is that of the name of the particular item in the collection and IsChecked bound to a property to determine whether or not the item is selected (it's just a listbox of checkboxes) This works fine with one exception - MouseOver the ListBox and it acts as if the collection of Strings is a single item; the whole box acts as if selected. This wouldn't be as much of a problem were it not for this also affecting the scrollbars where they won't get enabled - presumably because it considers the one item as being visible on the screen even though it in actual facts is x+ with only x-y showing on the screen. How do I get the listbox to act as if each individual string is its own item. I assume it acts this way because I declared a datatemplate in order to get a listbox of checkboxes?? Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Processing a property in linq to sql

    - by Mostafa
    Hi It's my first LINQ TO SQL Project , So definitely my question could be naive . Till now I used to create new property in Business Object beside of every DateTime Property , That's because i need to do some processing in my DateTime property and show it in special string format for binding to UI Controls .Like : private DateTime _insertDate; /// /// I have "InertDate" field in my Table on Database /// public DateTime InsertDate { get { return _insertDate; } set { _insertDate = value; } } // Because i need to do some processing I create a readonly string property that pass InsertDate to Utility method and return special string Date public string PInsertDate { get { return Utility.ToSpecialDate(_insertDate); } } My question is I don't know how to do it in LINQ . I did like follow but i get run time error. ToosDataContext db = new ToosDataContext(); var newslist = from p in db.News select new {p.NewsId,p.Title,tarikh =MD.Utility.ToSpecialDate( p.ReleaseDate)}; GridView1.DataSource = newslist; GridView1.DataBind();

  • How to enable a two-finger drag on a mac in Silverlight?

    - by Edward Tanguay
In a Silverlight 4 application I have a ScrollViewer which I enable the user to scroll with the mouse wheel by using SetIsMouseWheelScrollingEnabled(): <ScrollViewer x:Name="CodeBoxScrollViewerModelSingular" tk:DockPanel.Dock="Left" Style="{StaticResource ScrollViewerCodeBoxStyle}"> <TextBox Text="{Binding SingularModelFileContent}" Style="{StaticResource TextBoxCodeBoxStyle}"/> </ScrollViewer> CodeBoxScrollViewerModelSingular.SetIsMouseWheelScrollingEnabled(true); However, someone tested it on a Mac and said: The only problem I noticed on a quick test was that I couldn't scroll down by using a two-finger drag, which has been standard UI behavior on the Mac for several years now. Is there any way to enable a "two-finger drag" on the Mac as you can enable mouse wheel scrolling?

  • How do I use global resources in WPF?

    - by Banford
I have a WPF application which I would like to use some static resources in. I have created a Resource Library XAML file which contains a resource. I have also added a string into the Resources of the project through the Properties panel. I assumed I could just use these resources with the binding expression: {StaticResource ResourceName} But visual studio is telling me the resources are not found. Do I have to include some form of reference in my XAML? The examples I have seen only include resources locally such as: <Window.Resources>, <Page.Resources> etc I don't want to include the resources locally because I want them to be available to multiple parts of the application.

  • TFS 2008 warning when trying to add set-up project

    - by pm_2
I have a similar problem to that mentioned here. However, mine is in TFS 2008. I get the following warning when trying to add a set-up project to an existing solution (either just create the set-up project or “add to source control”). The project that you are attempting to add to source control may cause other source control users to have difficulty opening this solution or getting newer versions of it. To avoid this problem, add the project from a location below the binding root of the other source controlled projects in the solution Continue / Cancel As with the question above, I think my folder structure is at fault. However, the current folder structure is as follows: Solution Main Project My guess is that, for some reason it’s trying to add the set-up project directly into the solution folder. So, is there a way to validate where it’s trying to add this without selecting “Continue” above? Alternatively, is there a way to force the set-up project to create in its own folder?

  • Exporting data from a gridview to different excel worksheets

I am binding data from a dataset to a grid and exporting data from the grid to an excel.if the the number of items in the grid is greater than 50000,an error message is displayed. So i want to split the data and display it in different worksheets in excel.(Am working in a web application) using this code for exporting to excel gvExcel.DataSource = DTS; gvExcel.DataBind(); Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment; filename= filename.xls"); Response.ContentType = "application/excel"; StringWriter sw = new StringWriter(); HtmlTextWriter htw = new HtmlTextWriter(sw); gvExcel.RenderControl(htw); // Style is added dynamically Response.Write(style); Response.Write(sw.ToString()); Response.End(); Can anyone help me on this??

  • IntPtr arithmetics

    - by Luca
I tried to allocate an array of structs in this way: struct T { int a; int b; } data = Marshal.AllocHGlobal(count*Marshal.SizeOf(typeof(T)); ... I'd like to access to allocated data "binding" a struct to each element in array allocated with AllocHGlobal... something like this T v; v = (T)Marshal.PtrToStructure(data+1, typeof(T)); but i don't find any convenient way... why IntPtr lack of arithmetics? How can I workaround this is a "safe" way? Someone could confirm that PtrToStructure function copy data into the struct variable? In other words, modifing the struct reflect modifications in the structure array data, or not? Definitely, I want to operate on data pointed by an IntPtr using struct, without copying data each time, avoiding unsafe code. Thank all!

  • jQuery click event still firing on filtered element

    - by Phil.Wheeler
I'm trying to filter button events based on whether they have a CSS class assigned to them or not. Assume I have a button like this: <button id="save-button" class="ui-state-default ui-corner-all">Save</button> I want to get jQuery to select all buttons that currently do not have a class of "ui-state-disabled". The selector I'm using looks like this: $('#save-button:not(.ui-state-disabled)').click(function() { ... }); When the button is clicked, I'll call a different function, do some stuff and then add the class 'ui-state-disabled' to the button. However the button still continues to accept click events. I'm guessing this is because of two possible causes: The event binder looks only at the initial state when binding the click event and doesn't recognise that a new class has been added later on My filter ['... :not(.ui-state-disabled)] is not correct Any observations?

  • Adding events to ScatterViewItems when implicitly creating them

    - by James Hay
Not sure there's too many surface developers on here but hey ho... If i have a scatterview which implicity creates the ScatterViewItem objects (see below), is it possible to retireve the contact events for each scatterViewItem? Also when i wrap tyhe image object in a ScatterViewItem explicitly the item no longer works. Could anyone advise as to why this is the case? <s:ScatterView ItemsSource="{StaticResource DummyData}" > <s:ScatterView.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Image Source="{Binding Path=ImagePath}" /> </DataTemplate> </s:ScatterView.ItemTemplate> </s:ScatterView>

  • Implementing DRY Forms

    - by virtualeyes
Getting into Play 2.0, overall, blown away, great stuff. Anyway, wondering how one can achieve DRY forms in Play? If you look at the create & edit examples in the Computer Database Sample, you'll see that the form elements are repeated. With just 4 fields (in the sample form), no big deal, but when you're dealing with large, complex forms and/or handling many CRUD models, the duplication becomes a bigger maintenance issue. On the binding end ( form.bindFromRequest and form.fill(Foo) ), the implementation is so elegant for create/edit operations; is there a corresponding solution in the template layer?

  • Uncertain response from Combobox SelectedItem

    - by MSingh
I am working in winform and using combobox. I set the properties of combobox in this sequence combobox.DisplayMember = "cust_name"; combobox.ValueMember="cust_id"; combobox.datasource=dtCustomer; I have used combobox in my application several times, I don't know where I am making mistake as Sometime SelectedItem property returns exact value (int, string) based on the data type of "ValueMember" property, but sometime it returns "DataRowView". I've read this is because of the sequence in which properties are setting in combobox. But this is not the case now. Binding code is Calling code is

  • "Circuit breaker" for net.msmq?

    - by Alex
Hi, The Circuit Breaker pattern, from the book Release It!, protects a service from requests while it is failing (or recovering). The net.msmq binding used with transactions give us nice retry and poison message capabilities. But I am missing the implementation of such a "Circuit breaker" pattern. A service is put under even heavier load by retries while it is already in a failure condition (like DB connectivity issues causing loads of blocked threads etc.). Anyone knows about a behavior extension or similar that explicitly closes the service host when defined failure thresholds have been exceeded? Cheers, Alex

  • Databinding in windows forms on an object graph with possible null properties?

    - by Fredrik
If I have an object graph like this: class Company { public Address MainAddress {...} } class Address { public string City { ... } } Company c = new Company(); c.MainAddress = new Address(); c.MainAddress.City = "Stockholm"; and databind to a control using: textBox1.DataBinding.Add( "Text", c, "MainAddress.City" ); Everything is fine, but If I bind to: Company c2 = new Company(); c2 using the same syntax it crashes since the MainAddress property is null. I wonder if there is a custom Binding class that can set up listeners for all the possible paths here and bind to the actual object dynamically when/if I sometime later in the application set the MainAddress property.

  • What is the easiest way to remove the Silverlight TextBox mouse hover border?

    - by Edward Tanguay
I want to display text in a Silverlight application so that the user can copy and paste it elsewhere (as one is used to doing on an HTML web site). If I use TextBlock, then the user cannot cut and paste. Therefore I use TextBox, but it has a default border on it. I can remove the border with BorderThickness="0" like this: <TextBox Grid.Column="1" BorderThickness="0" Text="{Binding ViewModelBindingStringsBlockHelp}"/> which works great: However, when the user hovers over the text box to select the text, another border appears: I've found purported solutions but they seem to require pages of XAML. I'm looking for a simple solution like this: HoverBorderThickness="0" What is an easy way to hide the hover border on a Silverlight TextBox?

  • GWT Internet Explorer Problem

    - by bhargava
Hi All, I am running into a problem which is quite a bit surprising.I have an GWT application, which i can run perfectly fine on Firefox, but the same GWT application does not open up in Internet Explorer. When using Firefox i use <set-property name="user.agent" value="gecko1_8"/> and when i want to run in Internet Explorer i change it to <set-property name="user.agent" value="ie8"/> and debug. This way i am sure that the problem i am having is not related to deferred binding. When using the Internet Explorer (IE 8) i cannot even get into the onModuleLoad() part of my application. It looks as if Internet Explorer has downloaded all its stuff ,but has nothing to display. Is there something that i am missing here Thanks Bhargava
