  • Setting dijit.Tree cookie for all pages

    I'm using the same dijit.Tree view over several pages in our application, and I'd like to have the cookie saved for the server name, instead of the folder name. Right now I've got 3 pages and 3 cookies, which each hold their own information on the state of the Tree, which is kinda annoying. Any ways to accomplish this? The only thing I've found on cookies in the API, is that I can set the cookieName and turn cookies on/off.

  • How to know about results of work with COM component?

    I suppose this question is more general than working with COM components. I have a .NET client written in C# and COM component written in pure Win32 API. Client side uses this component to perform some actions. How to know on the client that component did its job? I think it may be socket/pipe, with component writing to it about results, and client reading from it displaying progress to the user. What is the best way to do this?

    Hi, I'm in the process of building my first serious Flex application and have started out using Flex 3.4 even though 4.0 was available mainly due to the larger number of resources. But now I feel very comfortable with the Flex API's, is it worth upgrading to Flex 4? What are the benefits?     I am using jxl api for generating a excel sheet, in which the alternate rows are highlighted, when I sort the contents of a excel and sort manually, the cell background colors messup, usually this is because I am writing the color cell by cell, is there anyway through which i color the alternate rows of the excel while generating it, in such a way that it doesnt effect the sorting of the contents.

I would prefer NON-com.sun.* as per java conventions, but still my dependencies ( e.g. Spring ) are using implementations from com.sun.* OR I can't find an implementation package in javax.xml Does anyone have any experience on this?

I need to use c:forEach for some primefaces component like dynamic number of p:tab but i have problem with the c:forEach. All the other tag of JSTL work nice. I have the following error : java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/jstl/core/LoopTagStatus I use the following xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core", i tried to replace with xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" but nothing display with the second.   • netcon.h not found with mingw?

    I am using the mingw(4.4.0) compiler that is included with QT4 and my IDE is netbeans 6.9. i noticed that i can't find netcon.h when i try to include it.I need netcon.h because i need some kind of API to bring up/down a network adapter,and after some googling i found that netcon.h is most commonly used. Linking netcon.h directly from the microsoft sdk produces lots of errors.Or is there some other library to alows me to reset an adapter, or i had to visual C++ completely to solve this problem?

    Hello, I have created an application that records a series of longitude and latitude values in a SQLite database and display them as a coloured track on a MapActivity. I now want to be able to export this data somehow (preferably to a file) so a user can upload the values to a website showing a Google Map API.     Including DISTINCT to an SQL query that also uses ORDER BY CAST(thecolumn AS int) as shown here seems to remove that sorting functionality. Any reason these cant work together? (Using sqlite with the C api) Thanks. EDIT: Started with - sprintf(sql, "SELECT DISTINCT rowX FROM TableX Order By Cast(rowX As int) LIMIT 150 OFFSET %s;", Offset); rowX is Type CHAR(5)

    After I discontinued programming in C++ while entering into web authoring I was spoilt by PHP's high level constructs like hash tables or its dynamic, weak typing. I remembered the angst of C/C++ pointers and the maze of low-level Win32 API handles and message loops and that prevented me from utilizing environments like Code::Blocks for desktop applications. I am also not very fond of bulky, statically-typed C#/.NET environment. Any other ideas?

    Hello For an embedded system with internet (which works under a set-top box) I want to develop a primitive Facebook interface where users can type their user-names and password, showing their latest notificationsa, messages and other casual stuff via the recent Facebook Graph API. This middleware program uses Java ME to run programs (such as this simple facebook app) and it can connect to internet however it doesn't have a real web browser.   • Soundcloud uploading to specific set/playlist

    I'm uploading some audio to soundcloud, but would like to add the audio to a specific playlist i have also created, without making an extra request (see "Adding Sounds to a Set" http://developers.soundcloud.com/docs/api/guide#uploading). Is it possible to upload directly to a playlist? Alternatively, I could send an extra request to add the track to the playlist but how would you do this in AS3. I see examples for JavaScript but am unsure how this would work in Flash.
