  I want start programming for android.. What I have: -Windows 7 -Eclipse Classic 4.2 -Downloaded all there required files - http://developer.android.com/sdk/installing/adding-packages.html -ADT Plugin I want install new ADT plugin.. at first I tried to download it from http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse, I add it, but if i selected it there is only "pending.." and nothing has load..(maybe internet connection?I have selected Native connection in preferences after pending it wrotes: Unable to connect to repository http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/content.xml org.eclipse.equinox.p2.core.ProvidesException ) Thats why I download ADT plugin. So if I select downloaded ADT plugin - content of it load - developer tools and ndk plugin so I select all and click next. It loads and writes this: "Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.   The standard should solve the following Authentication challenges like- Replay attacks Man in the Middle Plaintext attacks Dictionary attacks Brute force attacks Spoofing by counterfeit servers I have already looked at Amazon Web Services and that is one possibility. More importantly there seems to be two most common approaches: Use apiKey which is encoded in a similar fashion like AWS but is a post parameter to a request Use Http AuthenticationHeader and use a similar signature like AWS. Signature is typically obtained by signing a date stamp with an encrypted shared secret. This signature is therefore passed either as an apiKey or in the Http AuthenticationHeader. I would like to know weigh both the options from the community, who may have used one or more and would also like to explore other options that I am not considering. I would also use HTTPS to secure my services.

• How to Fix my jQuery code in IE?? Works in Firefox..

  I am using jQuery to show/hide a div container (#pluginOptionsContainer), and load a page (./plugin_options.php) inside it with the required POST vars sent. What POST data is sent is based on the value of a select list (#pluginDD) and the click of a button (#pluginOptionsBtn)... It works fine in Firefox, but doesn't work in IE.. The '$("#pluginOptionsContainer").load()' request never seems to finish in IE - I only see the loading message forever... bind(), empty() and append() all seem to work fine in IE.. But not load()..   Hi, I have a pom.xml that uses cxf-codegen-plugin to generate a couple of WS clients. Inside the configuration of cxf-codegen-plugin, there are the WSDL locations. I would like to externalize those strings to a env.properties file. I used org.codehaus.mojo's properties-maven-plugin to look inside src/main/resources/conf/app/env.properties. How can I make Hudson to replace those properties with the apropiate host? Thanks in advance

• How can I embed images within my application and use them in HTML control?

  Is there any way I can embed the images within my exe (as resource?) and use it in generated HTML ? Here are the requirements: A. I want to show dynamic HTML content (e.g. using webBrowser control, VS 2008, VB .Net, winForm desktop application) B. I want to generate the HTML on-the-fly using XML and XSL (file1.xml or file2.xml transformed by my.xsl) C. The HTML may contain IMG tags (file1.gif and or file2.gif according to the xml+xsl transformation) and here comes the complicated one: D. All these files (file1.xml, file2.xml, my.xsl, file1.gif, file2.gif) should be embedded in one exe file. I guess the XML and XSL can be embedded resources, and I can read them as stream, but what ways do I have to reference the image within the HTML ? <IMG src="???" /> I do not want to use absolute path and external files. If the image files are resources, can I use relative path? Relative to what? (I can use BASE tag, and then what?) Can I use stream as in email messages? If so, where can I find the format I need to use? http://www.websiteoptimization.com/speed/tweak/inline-images/ are browser dependent. What is the browser used by webBrowser control? IE? what version? Does it matter if I use GIF or JPG or BMP (or any other image format) for the images? Does it matter if I use mshtml library and not the regular webBrowser control? • Pass information back from an iframe?

  Right now i'm building a firefox plugin that duplicates some functionality on my website. It takes in an email address and then returns information to the user. The easiest way to do this in the plugin is to use an Iframe and render that super simple form on my website. All of this works great, but to make the plugin really useful, i would like the plugin to have access to the information that the iframe renders, so it can use it in the current window that the user is in. Is it possible to pass information back through an Iframe in this manner? I know there are quite a few domain access restrictions with Iframes, so any help or insight is appreciated!!

  I'm trying to route these two url's to different Actions. We are using Struts 1.2: /abc-def/products /abc-def I tried putting this action first: <action path="/abc*/products" type="com.business.exampleAction"> <forward name="success" path="/go"/> </action> and then this one after: <action path="/abc*" type="com.business.differentExampleAction"> <forward name="success" path="/goElsewhere"/> </action> but it always goes to the second action (differentExampleAction in this case). I've tried various iterations for the , like . or (.*), but haven't found anything that actually works yet. From what I've read, it seems like the only regular-expression-like characters allowed in struts-config are the wildcard symbols (* and **), but I hope I am wrong.

I got the GADT data DataBox where DataBox :: (Show d, Eq d, Data d) => d -> DataBox and I'm trying to get this to compile instance Data DataBox where gfoldl k z (DataBox d) = z DataBox `k` d gunfold k z c = k (z DataBox) -- not OK toConstr (DataBox d) = toConstr d dataTypeOf (DataBox d) = dataTypeOf d but I can't figure out how to implement gunfold for DataBox. The error message is Text/XML/Generic.hs:274:23: Ambiguous type variable `b' in the constraints: `Eq b' arising from a use of `DataBox' at Text/XML/Generic.hs:274:23-29 `Show b' arising from a use of `DataBox' at Text/XML/Generic.hs:274:23-29 `Data b' arising from a use of `k' at Text/XML/Generic.hs:274:18-30 Probable fix: add a type signature that fixes these type variable(s) It's complaining about not being able to figure out the data type of b. I'm also trying to implement dataCast1 and dataCast2 but I think I can live without them (i.e. an incorrect implementation). I guess my questions are: Is it possible to combine GADTs with Scrap your Boilerplate? If so: how do you implement gunfold for a GADT?

Other options and ways to go about this are also appreciated like for example easy ways to stream file data from the host to the plugin (reading) and from the plugin to the host (writing).   Hey, first off I point to the similar question. I spent more than an hour to set this up, but PathMatchingResourcePatternResolver still scans everything. I have one common.xml (that is imported from specific.xml) and a specific.xml bean definition file. The context is loaded from specific.xml. In common.xml there is this element: <context:component-scan base-package="cz.instance.transl"> <context:exclude-filter type="aspectj" expression="cz.instance.transl.model..* &amp;&amp; cz.instance.transl.service..* &amp;&amp; cz.instance.transl.hooks..*"/> </context:component-scan> Where classes in packages like cz.instance.transl.service.* should not be subject of scanning, but everything else in here cz.instance.transl.* should be scanned through. But PathMatchingResourcePatternResolver marks everything as matching resources. It is the same with regex. BTW: in xml style configuration, one can have many components that share a common.xml beans via "import resource" when loading context. How this is done when Annotation-based container configuration is used ?
