  • OpToSoapDomComv.TRefCache.FNodes contains references to non-existing XMLNodes

    - by Bascy
In our D2007 application we are using a Webservice, accessed with a THTTPRIO object. When the TDatamodule containing the THTTPRIO object is Destroyed an access violation occurs. This AV is raised when the TSoapDOMConvert is freed, which in turn executes: TRefCache(RefMap[0].Instance).Free calling destructor TRefCache.Destroy; begin FHREFs.Free; FMHREFs.Free; FNodes := nil; //Causes AV end; FNodes is a TInterfaceList containing one reference to IXMLNodes, but the object seems to have been freed before all this. Does anyone know this problem? How to solve it?

  • Referencing ASP.net textbox data in JavaScripts

    - by GoldenEarring
I'm interested in making an interactive 3D pie chart using JavaScript and ASP.net controls for a webpage. Essentially, I want to make an interactive version of the chart here: https://google-developers.appspot.com/chart/interactive/docs/gallery/piechart#3D I want to have 5 ASP.net textboxes where the user enters data and then submits it, and the chart adjusts according to what the user enters. I understand using ASP.net controls with JS is probably not the most effective way to go about it, but I would really appreciate if someone could share how doing this would be possible. I really don't know where to begin. Thanks for any help! <%@ Page Language="C#" %> <!DOCTYPE html> <script runat="server"> void btn1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { double s = 0.0; double b = 0; double g = 0.0f; double c = 0.0f; double h = 0.0f; s = double.Parse(txtWork.Text); b = double.Parse(txtEat.Text); g = double.Parse(txtCommute.Text); c = double.Parse(txtWatchTV.Text); h = double.Parse(txtSleep.Text); double total = s + b + g + c + h; if (total != 24) { lblError.Text = "Warning! • Converting json data to an HTML table

    - by dnaluz
I have an array of data in php and I need to display this data in a HTML table. Here is what an example data set looks like. Array( Array ( [comparisonFeatureId] => 1182 [comparisonFeatureType] => Category [comparisonValues] => Array ( [0] => Not Available [1] => Standard [2] => Not Available [3] => Not Available ) [featureDescription] => Rear Seat Heat Ducts ),) The dataset is a comparison of 3 items (shown in the comparisonValues index of the array) In the end I need the row to look similar to this <tr class="alt2 section_1"> <td><strong>$record['featureDescription']</strong></td> <td>$record['comparisonValues'][0]</td> <td>$record['comparisonValues'][1]</td> <td>$record['comparisonValues'][2]</td> <td>$record['comparisonValues'][3]</td> </tr> The problem I am coming across is how to best do this. Should I create the entire table HTML on the server side pass it over an ajax call and just dump pre-rendered HTML data into a div or pass the json data and render the table client side. Any elegant suggestions? Thanks in advanced.

My question isn't a matter of code, it is more about logic or sequence of steps. Any help please.

  • Extract ODBC Data Source information

    - by Zack
I've gone through ODBC API searching for a function that can extract information of a data source. The closest I found is SQLDataSources that enumerates all data sources and gives you the DSN name/description. But specifically I would to extract the TNS service name of an Oracle data source. This property appears in the registry under ServerName but I found no way to access it through an API.

  • Hibernate saveOrUpdate problem on char data type

    - by Yashwant Chavan
    Hi I am using Hibernate 3.0 , facing issue related to the char datatype field. I am trying to save Client pojo in the database, using following method. Problem is my client_id field is char(10) in the database. when client_id is 10 characters it works fine. but when client_id is less than ten characters it gives problem at the time of update. Rather than updating data it try to insert cleint record again and gives the unquie key exeception. i drill down the problem because of char(10) client_id field. it keeps space after client_id value upto 10 characters. Is there is any confuguration to overcome this problem. rather than modifying client_id to varchar2. public boolean saveClient(Clnt client) { boolean lReturnValue = false; SessionFactory sessionFactory = null; Session session = null; Transaction transaction = null; try { HibernateTemplate hibernateTemplate = getHibernateTemplate(); sessionFactory = hibernateTemplate.getSessionFactory(); session = sessionFactory.getCurrentSession(); transaction = session.beginTransaction(); session.saveOrUpdate(client); transaction.commit(); lReturnValue = true; } catch (HibernateException e) { lReturnValue = false; // TODO Auto-generated catch block if (transaction != null) { transaction.rollback(); } e.printStackTrace(); } return lReturnValue; }

  • Linux (Ubuntu 12.10) starts up, but the main menu on the left side, and the pictograms at the upper right corner, do not show up

    - by user114220
Linux OS (Ubuntu 12.10) starts up (user login, my personal picture of a beautiful Norwegian fjord-landscape fills the background), but the main menu on the left side, and the pictograms (battery state etc.) at the upper right corner of the screen, do not show up. This occurred yesterday quite suddenly after six or seven weeks working with Ubuntu 12.10. Then I started in recovery mode and performed a file system check (fsck) but that takes hours and finally a message ¨Sorry Ubuntu has experienced an internal error etc¨ appeared. How can I determine what has gone wrong and eventually, how can I solve it? So that I can work again using Ubuntu 12.10 (on a dual-boot system, Intel i7, ASUS P8P67 motherboard).

  • Get file size of BufferedImage before writing the data

    - by David
I'm working on a Java program that needs to send an image (preferably in PNG format, though I could perhaps use another format if necessary) over the network. The logical way to do this is, of course, to first send the length of the PNG image data, then the data itself. Problem: I don't see any method in ImageIO or anywhere else that will give me the length of the image data. Does this exist somewhere in the Java 1.6 standard library? I know I could just write it to a ByteArrayOutputStream and get the length of the resulting array, but before resorting that I wanted to make sure I'm not missing something built in. And besides, that makes an extra copy of the image data, which I'd rather not do if it's not necessary.

  • Reading files in a webservice

    - by mouthpiec
Hi, I have a webservice, in which I read the settings saved in an xml file. I read the setting by the following command: string dpath = HttpContext.Current.Request.PhysicalApplicationPath.ToString(); XmlTextReader reader = new XmlTextReader(dpath + "Settings.xml"); This is working perfectly when running the application on the localhost, but when I publish the webserver I am getting an error, most probably because the settings are not being loaded. Am I using the right command to read the file ? thanks

  • CCRC unable to check in and check out issue.

    - by Rational Admin
Hi; One of the team with Clearcase already set up is facing issues in checking and checking out files. They don't have issue in adding a new file to source control. The team has been complaining that they are unable to do so due to domain problem. Seems like Clearcase server is in a domain and the users are logging to the server from a different domain. I haven't yet had a look at the environment. Do you have any idea or would be able to give me heads up on the cause of this issue. Have you ever faced this issue in the past?

  • Perl help dereferencing a reference to an array of hash references, containing record set data

    - by user1724150
I'm using the a Amazon Perl module that returns a reference to an array of hash references as $record_sets, containing record set data and I'm having a hard time dereferencing it. I can print the data using data dumper but I need to be able to manipulate the data. Below is the documentation provided for the module Thanks In Advance: #list_resource_record_sets #Lists resource record sets for a hosted zone. #Called in scalar context: $record_sets = $r53->list_resource_record_sets(zone_id => '123ZONEID'); #Returns: A reference to an array of hash references, containing record set data. Example: $record_sets = [ { name => 'example.com.', type => 'MX' ttl => 86400, records => [ '10 mail.example.com' ] }, { name => 'example.com.', type => 'NS', ttl => 172800, records => [ 'ns-001.awsdns-01.net.', 'ns-002.awsdns-02.net.', 'ns-003.awsdns-03.net.', 'ns-004.awsdns-04.net.' ]

  • Extract data from uint8 to double

    - by HADJ AMOR HASSEN
I have a C function receiving a uint8 pointer with another parameter which is its size (number of bytes). I want to extract double data from this buffer. Here is my code: Write(uint8* data, uint8 size) /* data and size are given by a callback to my function)*/ { double d; for (i = 0; i < size; i++) { d = ((double*)&data)[i]; printf(" d = %d\n"); } } The problem is that I am not receiving what I am sending within an external hardware. I guess that my cast is wrong. I tried other methods but without any good result. I am still not able to get what I send.

  • Which .NET data provider?

    - by worlds-apart89
I am new to database programming, so I'd like help getting on the right track. I have read that there are Microsoft-defined and third-party data providers for data access. MSDN has information on data providers for SQL Server, OLE DB, ODBC, Oracle, as well as the EntityClient provider (Entity Framework). Which data provider is today's hottest, most-widely used model? Which one is the future? Also, I have seen Linq to SQL tutorials, but what category does L2S fall into?

  • Assigning data to an <li> element?

    - by user246114
Hi, I am generating some list items as a result of a search, and I want to attach some data to each list element from the search (possibly a bad idea to merge ui and data), but now curious about it. I am doing this: var element = $("<li>Hello</li>); element.mydata = "foo"; element.appendTo("#panelParent"); so I'm just assigning my stuff to element.mydata. My click handler reports that no such data exists for the element when clicked: $('#panelParent').delegate('li', 'click', function() { // this.mydata is undefined. }); where did it go to? I could keep the data external to the a list item element, was wondering if there's a convenient way like this to just keep it bound though? Thanks

  • Can it be a good idea to create a new table for each client of a webapp?

    - by Will
This is semi-hypothetical, and as I've no experience in dealing with massive database tables, I have no idea if this is horrible for some reason. On to the situation: Imagine a web based application - lets say accounting software - which has 20,000 clients and each client has 1000+ entries in a table. That's 20 million rows which I know can certainly slow down complex queries. In a case like this, does it make more sense to create a new table in the database for each client? How do databases react to having 20k (or more!) tables?
