  Hi guys, I have an HTML form consisting of some text-inputs. I'm using jqTransform to prettify them. Now I want to add two buttons that will add and remove text-input dynamically. Adding is easy: $('#container').append(''); $('input[name=foo]:last-child').jqTransInputText(); But removing is tricky: $('WHAT-TO-SELECT').remove(); I can't do "input[name=foo]:last-child" since it's already wrapped (some divs) by jqTransform. To put this question in another way: How do I select based on "who has child of type input with 'foo' as its name"?

• What is the best back button jQuery plugin?

  I have found two plugins that enable the browser's back button to work across ajax interactions, but I can't determine which is better and why. The two plugins are history_remote and the history. The history plug in is simpler and seems to provide all the functionality I need, but I'm not sure I understand enough about them to make an intelligent decision. For my application, I need the plugin to allow the back button to work through ajax interactions, and I need to be able to bookmark the page at any point through the interactions. Which plug in is best in this scenario and why? Are there any other plug ins that I missed that might be better? Are there any limitations to these plugins that I'm missing (do they not work in certain situations etc)? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

• jQuery Code Only Fires On Hard Refresh?

  The XFBML version of the Facebook Registration plugin only loads HTTPS. I need it to load HTTP so my form does not call a security error mismatch between domains. I wrote this code to get the SRC and rewrite it with out HTTPS It works fine on the first load, however on Chrome and Safari it only loads the first time and on HARD refreshes. It does not load on standard reloads or by pressing "enter" on the address bar. • Firefox running infinitely even after condition met in jquery function

  The following function is called with setTimeout(function () { get_progress(fileID,fileName)},8000); upon a form submit. The purpose of the function is to get read_file.php to read a txt file that stores the file upload status from a form (in percentage). Upon reaching 80%, my Firefox seems to run infinitely even when HEAD returns an error.   Hi, I have a ul set up as navigation, which I'll be animating on hover. As all the nav items are different widths, I'll be storing their default widths in an Array, so that on hover out, these widths can be passed back in to the animate method. What I need is a way to find what 'nth-child' the element is in order to retrieve the correct width from the array. Something like: var count = $(this).count(); //obviously this isn't right! So that then I can do: $(this).animate({'width':array(count)}, 400); Any suggestions would help me a lot - and if there's a better way to do this kind of thing I'd gladly accept pointers!

  I'm using : $(window).scroll(function () { if ($(window).scrollTop() + 10 >= ($(document).height() - $(window).height())) { loadContent(); } } It works fine with Chrome, IE, Firefox but except in Safari. In function loadContent, I used JSON to load data, as this tutorial. But while I test in Safari, It takes the content twice from JSON. If the other takes 9 items, then Safari takes 18 items. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.
