  • popViewControllerAnimated not working, but back button works

    Hi, I am creating an application based on the Utility template. The main screen consists of a menu with several buttons, each of which creates a different flip-side view. In one of those flip-side views I also configured a Navigation Controller, which works perfectly as long as I have the NavigationBar activated... I can push the view but I have to use the "back" button to return to my flip-side view, which would be the root of the Navigation Controller. The problem comes if I try to go back using "popViewControllerAnimated", properly configured with a button, instead of the "back" button of the NavigationBar. My application crashes for some reason and I am not able to understand why. I could just use the "back" button in the NavigationBar and forget about the problem, but I would prefer to have my own button in order to go back. When I use Rounded Rect in IB the custom image appears scrunched w/in the Rounded Rect button. Why is this so difficult?

  • Secondary monitor bug: a problem in WPF or in the graphics driver?

    I have discovered a strange bug with my WPF application and I am trying to determine whether it is a problem with WPF or my graphics driver so that I can report it to the appropriate company. I have a Quadro FX 1700 with the latest drivers (197.54) on a Windows XP system, running a .NET 3.5 SP1 application. I have dual monitors, and when I maximize then minimize a child window of the main window on my primary monitor, the child window gets drawn on the secondary monitor as well. It appears in both places. I made a sample application (code is below) which induces this behavior. Start the application and ensure the main window is on your primary monitor. Double-click the main window. A green child window should appear. Click the green child window to maximize. Click the green child window to minimize. Can anyone else reproduce this problem? On my system the green child restores, but then it's drawn on both my primary and secondary monitors, rather than just the primary monitor.   • Android strange behavior with listview and custom cursor adapter

    I have a problem with a list view and a custom cursor adapter and I just can't seem to figure out what is wrong with my code. Basically, in my activity I call initalize() that does a bunch of stuff to handle getting the proper data and initializing the listview. On first run of the activity you can see from the images that one of the items is missing from the list. If I go to another activity and go back to this activity the item that was missing shows up. I believe it has something to do with setContentView(R.layout.parent). If I move that to my initialize() then the item never shows up even when returning from another activity. So, for some reason, returning from another activity bypasses setContentView(R.layout.parent) and everything works fine. I know it's impossible for me to bypass setContentView(R.layout.parent) so I need to figure out what the problem is. Also, I did not include the layout because it is nothing more then two textviews. Also, the images I have attached do not show that the missing item is the last one on the list.   • Error "403 Forbidden" on Sharepoint Search Settings Page

    Hello I thought I had solved this nightmare by re-entering the values in my SSP properties set up, however accessing the Search Settings page error has reared it ugly head again. Please guys how do I get around this access denied issue. Thanks

  • Difference in css-positioning in windows and linux

    I have a problem with rendering my html page by the same browsers in different OS. There are 3 spans and position of each span is corrected through css(position:relative). But I have found out that the page that looks correct in firefox under Linux, shows not right at the same firefox(3.5.7) under Windows OS. Linux(Left - How it should be)/Windows(right): link text And the same with other browsers. What is the cause of this problem and how is possible to solve it.   • JQuery dialog momentairly displayed on page load

    I created a page that has a JQuery based dialog using the standard JQuery UI function. I do this with out of the box functionality of JQuery... nothing special at all. Here is my HTML for the dialog: <div id = "myDialog"> <!-- ... more html in here for the dialog --> </div> Then the JQuery called in javascript that transforms the <div> to a dialog: // pruned .js as an example of kicking up a JQuery dialog $('#myDialog').dialog({ autoOpen: false, title: 'Title here', modal: true } }); Again, plain-vanilla JQuery. So you start this wizard by clicking on a link on the parent page, and it then spawns a JQuery dialog which has a significant chunk of HTML that includes images, etc. As I continued developing this page, I started to notice that when I loaded the page in the browser that the <div> tags I was putting in that JQuery transforms into dialogs would very briefly be displayed. Then the page would act as expected. In other words, the dialog would not be hidden, it would be displayed briefly in-line in the page. Quite ugly and unprofessional looking! But after a split second, the page would render correctly and look just as I expected/wanted. Over time, as the page size grew, the time the page would remain incorrectly rendered grew. My guess is that the rendering engine of the browser is rendering the page as it is loading, then at the end it is kicking off the JQuery that will transform the <div> into a dialog. This JQuery function will then transform the simple <div> to a JQuery dialog and hide it (since I have the autoOpen property set to false). Some browsers <cough>IE</cough> display it longer than others. My large-ish dialog now causes the page to incorrectly render for about 1 second... YUCK! I came up with a resolution to this problem which works OK, but I'm wondering if someone knows of a better way.

  • Asyncronus javascript rendering widgets

    Hey all, I'm creating a javascript widget so third partys (web designers) can post a link on their website and it will render the widget on their site. Currently, I'm doing this with just a script link tag: <div class="some_random_div_in_html_body"> <script type='text/javascript' src='http://remotehost.com/link/to/widget.js'></script> </div> However, this has the side-effect of slowing down a thrid party's website render times of the page if my site is under a load. Therefore, I'd like the third party website to request the widget link from my site asyncronously and then render it on their site when the widget link loads completely. The Google Analytics javascript snippet seems to have a nice bit of asyncronous code that does a nice async request to model off of, but I'm wondering if I can modify it so that it will render content on the third party's site.   • ffmpeg - How to determine if -movflags faststart is enabled? PHP

    While I am able to encode an mp4 file which I can plan on my local windows machine, I am having trouble encoding files to mp4 which are readable when streaming by safari, etc. After a bit of reading, I believe my issue is that I must move the metadata from the end of the file to the beginning in order for the converted mp4 files to be streamable. To that end, I am trying to find out if the build of ffmpeg that I am currently using is able to use the -movflags faststart option through php - as my current outputted mp4 files are not working when streamed online. This is the way I am now echoing the -help, -formats, -codecs, but I am not seeing anything about -movflags faststart in any of the lists: exec($ffmpegPath." -help", $codecArr); for($ii=0;$ii<count($codecArr);$ii++){ echo $codecArr[$ii].'</br>'; } Is there a similar method of determining if -movflags fastart is available to my ffmpeg build? Any other way? Should it be listed with any of the previously suggested commands? -help/-formats? Can someone that knows it is enabled in their version of ffmpeg check to see if it is listed under -help or -formats, etc.? TIA.     Hi, I cant seem to find the modifications I made to web.config in my FeatureRecievers Activated event. I try to get the modifications from the SpWebApplication.WebConfigModifications collection in the deactivate event, but this is always empty.... And the strangest thing is that my changes are still reverted after deactivating the feature... My question is, should I not be able to view all changes made to the web.config files when accessing the SpWebApplication.WebConfigModifications collection in the Deactivating event? Which I think means that there is no code-behind file for a ResourceDictionary, or something to that effect. In any event, I'm not sure if I should be using Commands here, or somehow tying events to the Rectangle in question, or if this is even possible. I've seen various places where it sure looks like it's possible, I'm just unable to translate what I'm seeing into something that actually works, hence this post. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I have a TreeView that is bound to a XmlDataSource control. I've added some TreeNodeBinding elements to define how I want the XML data to be shown. I have also added PopulateOnDemand=true to these TreeNodeBindings. However, doing so didn't change a thing and the entire XML tree is displayed. Moreover, the TreeNodePopulate event is not fired on node expand as well. Important information: I'm using ASP.NET 4. Via code, go through all tree nodes and set their PopulateOnDemand property to true. Nothing worked. The only way the populate-on-demand thing worked was when I added nodes manually to the nodes instead of binding it to a data source. What am I doing wrong?

Now: I have installed less via npm and I had heard from another post that @imports should reference the .css not the .less. In any case, I have tried the combinations of switching .less for .css in the jade and less files with no success. If you can help or have the solution I'd greatly appreciate it. Note: The jade portion works fine if I enter any ol' .css. Note2: The less compiles if I use lessc via command line.

    Hi I am using Joomla 1.5. i am having a page where a cSS has been added for the title which is in <strong></strong> I firebug it , it appears as element.style { color:#666666; } i dont know of from where it comes from.. but i am having a css applied for the same tag with other color. but it disappeared. How to remove the element.style globally..
