• Auto discover projects in continous integration Tools

  We have a code base composed of many projects. Currently each time we add a project on SVN we must reconfigure CruiseControl to start build and test on such project. I'm looking for a tool (better if open source) able to scan the SVN repository and find new projects by itself. A project can be "a SVN folder containing trunk, tags, branches subfolders". Even better if the tool supports multistaged continous integration and build on demand. Thanks

  I know how to generate html documentation using Sandcastle and similar tools. But if I want to host the project on Google code, how can I easily publish the documentation straight into the Google project Wiki pages? I can see the SVN repository has a wiki folder which I assume maps to the project Wiki pages and I guess I can make a build step to build the documentation from the autodoc tags. But is there some tool that generates wiki compatible format from the code documentation tags?

  I am looking to build a widget for a site which allows users to tag images from individual frames of a video file but would prefer not to have to build a custom Flash tool. Is there an existing free library or framework which simplifies things like this in a webapplication setting? Features would also involve basic video playback functionality as well as time-driven meta-data and the ability to extract images from individual video frames. Are there existing open-source web-based tools for video manipulation other than building your own custom Flash app?

• Maven - Eclipse does not see dependencies

  I have a project in eclipse, that is unable to see maven dependencies. What is odd is when I build from the command line the build completes fine. They are both pointed at the same repository.   when i check out a new grails project from svn, i got some error: 1.The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for groovy.lang.GroovyObject. Fix the build path then try building this project 2.The type groovy.lang.GroovyObject cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files i had config the grails path, and it can run-app well. but,still error warning.

  I have a dll in the GAC. I browse to this same dll in a different place then referenced in the GAC using the file dialog of add reference. Visual studio repoints it to the gac location. Boom my build blows up on the build server that doesn't have this dll in the gac or at that location. What is the best way to fix this?

• CruiseControl.Net allowForceBuild per project?

  From reading the docs I can tell that allowForceBuild will turn off the force build button for the server. In my case I have 12 projects. Once is a weekend cleanup task. I want to remove the force build on this one project. Is there a way to turn off the button on a project level? Thanks. -

• SSIS: Way to handle hot folder items in parallel?

  We have eight Xeon (i7) cores and 16 gig of RAM on our SSIS box. We have about 200 image files we want to convert using a command line utility every day. Currently the process is using Adobe Photoshop and droplets (very manual, taking upwards of two hours a day) Using SSIS hot folders, is there a way to execute up to eight conversions at once?
