  • Office 365 Powershell - Export user, license type, and company field to csv file

    - by ASGJim
I need to be able to export user name or email address (doesn't matter which), company (from the company field under the organization tab in a user account of the exchange admin console), and license type (e.g. exchange online e1, exchange online kiosk etc...) I am able to export both values in two statements into two separate files but that doesn't do me much good. I can export the username and license type with the following: Get-MSOLUser | % { $user=$_; $_.Licenses | Select {$user.displayname},AccountSKuid } | Export-CSV "sample.csv" -NoTypeInformation And, I can get the company values with the following: Get-User | select company | Export-CSV sample.csv Someone on another forum suggested this - $index = @{} Get-User | foreach-object {$index.Add($_.userprincipalname,$_.company)} Get-MsolUser | ForEach-Object { write-host $_.userprincipalname, $index[$_.userprincipalname], $_.licenses.AccountSku.Skupartnumber} That seems like it should work but it doesn't display any license info in my powershell, it's just blank. Also I wouldn't know how to export that to a csv file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • DataAnnotations multiple property validation in MVC

    - by scottrakes
    I am struggling with DataAnnotations in MVC. I would like to validate a specific property, not the entire class but need to pass in another property value to validate against. I can't figure out how to pass the other property's value, ScheduleFlag, to the SignUpType Validation Attribute. public class Event { public bool ScheduleFlag {get;set;} [SignupType(ScheduleFlag=ScheduleFlag)] } public class SignupTypeAttribute : ValidationAttribute { public bool ScheduleFlag { get; set; } public override bool IsValid(object value) { var DonationFlag = (bool)value; if (DonationFlag == false && ScheduleFlag == false) return false; return true; } }

  • SQL statement with datetimepicker

    - by David Archer
This should hopefully be a simple one. When using a date time picker in a windows form, I want an SQL statement to be carried out, like so: string sql = "SELECT * FROM Jobs WHERE JobDate = '" + dtpJobDate.Text + "'"; Unfortunately, this doesn't actually provide any results because the JobDate field is stored as a DateTime value. I'd like to be able to search for all records that are on this date, no matter what the time stored may be, any help? New query: SqlDataAdapter da2 = new SqlDataAdapter(); SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand(); cmd.CommandText = "SELECT * FROM Jobs WHERE JobDate >= @p_StartDate AND JobDate < @p_EndDate"; cmd.Parameters.Add ("@p_StartDate", SqlDbType.DateTime).Value = dtpJobDate.Value.Date; cmd.Parameters.Add ("@p_EndDate", SqlDbType.DateTime).Value = dtpJobDate.Value.Date.AddDays(1); cmd.Connection = conn; da2.SelectCommand = cmd; da2.Fill(dt); dgvJobDiary.DataSource = dt; Huge thanks for all the help!

  • Strange problem with MySQL full text query

    - by Manish
This probably has something to do with my understanding of full text search or perhaps a known issue. My Java code creates search term for full text search on MySQL like this - +word* This works fine if the value in the DB column contains more text than the word itself. However, if the value is exact - no result are returned. I expected it to return results when value is an exact match. Let me give an example - Assume that DB has column name with value "Manish", now if I search with this - +Manis* It does return the result correctly, but if I try this - +Manish* It doesn't return any result, though exact match exists in DB column - Name. How can I obtain the desired behaviour in both these cases? Removing + sign works, but it returns far too many results when there are two or more words. Any help, pointers would be highly appreciated! I am using MySQL 5.0 TIA, - Manish

  • Perf4j Not Logging Correctly

    - by Jehud
I setup some stop watch calls in my code to measure some code blocks and all the messages are going into my primary log and not into the timing log. The perfStats.log file gets created just fine but all the messages go to the root log which I didn't think was supposed to happen according to the docs I've read. Is there something obvious I'm missing here? perf4j tutorial link: http://perf4j.codehaus.org/devguide.html#Using_the_log4j_Appenders_to_Generate_Real-Time_Performance_Information Example code import org.apache.log4j.Logger; import org.perf4j.LoggingStopWatch; import org.perf4j.StopWatch; public class PerfLogger { /** * @param args */ public static void main(String[] args) { Logger logger = Logger.getLogger(PerfLogger.class.getName()); logger.info("Starting perf log test"); StopWatch stopWatch = new LoggingStopWatch("test time"); try { Thread.sleep(1000); } catch (InterruptedException e) { // TODO Auto-generated catch block e.printStackTrace(); } stopWatch.stop(); } } Example log4j.xml <log4j:configuration xmlns:log4j='http://jakarta.apache.org/log4j/'> <appender name="STDOUT-DEBUG" class="org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender"> <layout class="org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout"> <param name="ConversionPattern" value="%d %-5p [%t]%x %M (%F:%L) - %m%n"/> </layout> </appender> <!-- Perf4J appenders --> <!-- This AsyncCoalescingStatisticsAppender groups StopWatch log messages into GroupedTimingStatistics messages which it sends on the file appender defined below --> <appender name="CoalescingStatistics" class="org.perf4j.log4j.AsyncCoalescingStatisticsAppender"> <!-- The TimeSlice option is used to determine the time window for which all received StopWatch logs are aggregated to create a single GroupedTimingStatistics log. • Is it fair for us to conclude XOR string encryption is less secure than well known encryption (Say Blowfish)

    - by Yan Cheng CHEOK
I was wondering, is it fair to conclude, XOR string encryption is less secure than other encryption method, say Blowfish This is because for both methods, their input are Unencrypted string A secret key string XOR(string value, string key) { string retval(value); short unsigned int klen=key.length(); short unsigned int vlen=value.length(); short unsigned int k=0; short unsigned int v=0; for(v;v<vlen;v++) { retval[v]=value[v]^key[k]; k=(++k<klen?k:0); } return retval; } Is there any proof that XOR encryption method is more easy to be "broken" than Blowfish if the same key is being chosen?

  • JQuery Tooltip Plugin from Jorn

    - by Jeff Ancel
I am thinking someone may have run across this one, but not sure. From a high level, I am trying to roll over a input [type=text] and display a tool tip (with the contained value) using the plugin available at http://bassitance.de. I have to use titles and classes for validation on the specific elements, so I put a blank div to hold the input [type=text] value for the roll over. Issue: It won't hold the value of 2 text boxes at once. Once I put a value in the box on the right, the tooltip on the left goes away. Same thing if I switch it aroun. I can't keep a tooltip on more than one element. Here is the code (Note: You will have to download the plugins in the source as I am not sure where the live versions are if there are any). <link rel="stylesheet" href="/scripts/jquery-tooltip/jquery.tooltip.css" /> <script type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/jquery-1.3.2.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="/scripts/jquery-tooltip/jquery.tooltip.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(function(){ $("input").change(function(){ var newTitle = $(this).val(); $(this).parent().attr("title",newTitle); // re-init tool tip reload(); }); // Init tooltip reload(); }); reload = function(){ $("div").tooltip(); } </script> <body> <table border="1px solid black"> <tr> <td title="hello"> <div> <input type="text" value=""/> </div> </td> <td> <div> <input type="text" value=""/> </div> </td> </tr> </table> <div id="debug"></div> </body> </html>

  • Passing array by ref.

Ref. to my last post and sellibitze's comment to that post on passing array by ref rather than by value, why is it that when I'm passing array by value compiler can deduce arguments but it won't do it if I pass it by value? @Paul So just to make it clear when I'm declaring fnc: void f(int a[]);//I'm passing a pointer but when I'm declaring: void f(int &a[]);//I'm passing a ref? Do I understand this correctly now?

The value being the value of the first property encountered. Kindly help as to how I can get the value for each property.

  • Sharepoint listsService.updateList method clarification

    - by cyrix86
I've seen an example here: msdn but it's a little confusing. So if I have a list definition with a field called "CustomField" and I want to update the "ShowField" attribute of this field to be true then I would do this: XmlNode listNode = listService.GetList("MyList"); string version = listNode.Attributes["Version"].Value; string guid = listNode.Attributes["Name"].Value; XmlDocument xmlDoc = new XmlDocument(); XmlElement updateFields = xmlDoc.CreateElement("Fields"); string fieldXml = @"<Method ID="1"><Field Name="CustomField" ShowField="true" /></Method>"; updateFields.InnerXml = fieldXml; XmlNode result = listService.UpdateList(guid, null, null, updateFields, null, version); I'm confused because it would seem that you would need to provide a field element to indicate what field to update and then a value element to specify the new value. Could someone clarify this please?

  • WPF designer gives exception when databinding a label to a checkbox

    - by John
I'm sure it's something stupid, but I'm playing around with databinding. I have a checkbox and a label on a form. What I'm trying to do is simply bind the Content of the label to the checkbox's IsChecked value. What I've done runs fine (no compilation errors and acts as expected), but if I touch the label in the XAML, the designer trows an exception: System.NullReferenceException Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at MS.Internal.Designer.PropertyEditing.Editors.MarkupExtensionInlineEditorControl.BuildBindingString(Boolean modeSupported, PropertyEntry propertyEntry) at <Window x:Class="UnitTestHelper.MainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:FileSysCtls="clr-namespace:WPFFileSystemUserControls;assembly=WPFFileSystemUserControls" xmlns:HelperClasses="clr-namespace:UnitTestHelper" Title="MainWindow" Height="406" Width="531"> <Window.Resources> <HelperClasses:ThreestateToBinary x:Key="CheckConverter" /> </Window.Resources> <Grid Height="367" Width="509"> <CheckBox Content="Step into subfolders" Height="16" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="17,254,0,0" Name="chkSubfolders" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="130" IsThreeState="False" /> <Label Height="28" HorizontalAlignment="Left" Margin="376,254,0,0" Name="lblStepResult" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="120" IsEnabled="True" Content="{Binding IsChecked, ElementName=chkSubfolders, Mode=OneWay, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged, Converter={StaticResource CheckConverter}}" /> </Grid> The ThreeStateToBinary class is as follows: class ThreestateToBinary : IValueConverter { #region IValueConverter Members public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { if ((bool)value) return "Checked"; else return "Not checked"; //throw new NotImplementedException(); } public object ConvertBack(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, System.Globalization.CultureInfo culture) { return ((string)value == "Checked"); //throw new NotImplementedException(); } #endregion } Quite honestly, I'm playing around with it at this point. It was originally simpler (not using the ValueConverter) but was displaying similar behavior when I simply had the content set to: Content="{Binding IsChecked, ElementName=chkSubfolders, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}" Any ideas? Thanks, John

  • jQuery Set Selected Option Using Next

    - by Dodinas
Hello, How can I, using jQuery, set the "next" item of an already selected item as "selected." For example, if I have: <select> <option value="1" >Number 1</option> <option value="2" selected="selected">Number 2</option> <option value="3" >Number 3</option> <option value="4" >Number 4</option> </select> We can see that "Number 2" is selected, and using jQuery, I'd like to set "Number 3" as selected, and remove the selected "attribute" from "Number 2". I'm assuming I need to use the next selector, but I'm not quite sure how to implement. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • mvvm - prismv2 - INotifyPropertyChanged

    - by depictureboy
Since this is so long and prolapsed and really doesnt ask a coherent question: 1: what is the proper way to implement subproperties of a primary object in a viewmodel? 2: Has anyone found a way to fix the delegatecommand.RaiseCanExecuteChanged issue? or do I need to fix it myself until MS does? For the rest of the story...continue on. In my viewmodel i have a doctor object property that is tied to my Model.Doctor, which is an EF POCO object. I have onPropertyChanged("Doctor") in the setter as such: Private Property Doctor() As Model.Doctor Get Return _objDoctor End Get Set(ByVal Value As Model.Doctor) _objDoctor = Value OnPropertyChanged("Doctor") End Set End Property The only time OnPropertyChanged fires if the WHOLE object changes. This wouldnt be a problem except that I need to know when the properties of doctor changes, so that I can enable other controls on my form(save button for example). I have tried to implement it in this way: Public Property FirstName() As String Get Return _objDoctor.FirstName End Get Set(ByVal Value As String) _objDoctor.FirstName = Value OnPropertyChanged("Doctor") End Set End Property this is taken from the XAMLPowerToys controls from Karl Shifflet, so i have to assume that its correct. But for the life of me I cant get it to work. I have included PRISM in here because I am using a unity container to instantiate my view and it IS a singleton. I am getting change notification to the viewmodel via eventaggregator that then populates Doctor with the new value. The reason I am doing all this is because of PRISM's DelegateCommand. So maybe that is my real issue. It appears that there is a bug in DelegateCommand that does not fire the RaiseCanExecuteChanged method on the commands that implement it and therefore needs to be fired manually. I have the code for that in my onPropertyChangedEventHandler. Of course this isnt implemented through the ICommand interface either so I have to break and make my properties DelegateCommand(of X) so that I have access to RaiseCanExecuteChanged of each command.

  • Success function not being called when form is submitted. jQuery / validationEngine / PHP form proce

  • When will the ValueConverter's Convert method be called in wpf

    - by sudarsanyes
I have an ObservableCollection bound to a list box and a boolean property bound to a button. I then defined two converters, one that operates on the collection and the other operates on the boolean property. Whenever I modify the boolean property, the converter's Convert method is called, where as the same is not called if I modify the observable collection. What am I missing?? • Whats the KeyCode for overwriting a text in TextBox in winforms

    - by Ragha J
I have a custom control which extends from TextBox. In the KeyDown event of the control I have access to the KeyCode property of keyEventArgs If the text in the textbox is selected and some other text is typed on top of it, the keyCodes that I am getting in the KeyDown event are different each time and in the KeyPress event I get the actual value. For ex: If the textbox has value 1234 and now I select 1234 and type 5 on top of it, I want to to be able to know in any of the events by some key combination that the old value 1234 is gone and the new value of the textbox is 5.

  • Is it possible to create a generic Util Function to be used in Eval Page

    - by Nassign
I am currently binding a Nullable bit column to a listview control. When you declare a list view item I need to handle the case when the null value is used instead of just true or false. <asp:Checkbox ID="Chk1" runat="server" Checked='<%# HandleNullableBool(Eval("IsUsed")) %>' /> Then in the page I add a HandleNullableBool() function inside the ASPX page. protected static bool HandleNullableBool(object value) { return (value == null) ? false : (bool)value; } This works fine but I need to use this in several pages so I tried creating a utility class with a static HandleNullableBool. But using it in the asp page does not work. Is there a way to do this in another class instead of the ASPX page? <asp:Checkbox ID="Chk1" runat="server" Checked='<%# Util.HandleNullableBool(Eval("IsUsed")) %>' />

  • My Windows Service crashes with "the key does not exist in the appSettings configuration section"

    - by Greg
There is the same question listed under http://stackoverflow.com/questions/427007/the-key-userid-does-not-exist-in-the-appsettings-configuration-section, but unfortunately none of the answers worked in my case. All was working fine, I checked everything in and when I opened the solution again, it started crashing on the above. I cannot find any hint of what I am doing wrong. Any ideas? <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <appSettings> <add key="URI" value="http://123.123.123.123:8080/smsxml/collector" /> <add key="Provider" value="123" /> <add key="LongCode" value="+123" /> <add key="PassWord" value="123" /> </appSettings> </configuration>

  • Loops inside loops

    - by cozzy
Hi, I'd like to find easier way to write loops inside loops. Here is example code of 3 levels of 'for' loops: int level = 0; int value = 0; bool next = false; for (int i0 = 0; i0 < 6; i0++) { level = 0; value = i0; method(); if (next) for (int i1 = 0; i1 < 6; i1++) { level = 1; value = i1; method(); if (next) for (int i2 = 0; i2 < 6; i2++) { level = 2; value = i2; method(); if (next) { //Do somethnig } } } } private void method() { //use int 'level' and 'value' //determine bool 'next' } I wonder if it's possible to write the same thing different way. To set number of levels(number of loops) and loop repeats. In this case levels = 3; repeats = 6;. I need it because I am using more than 20 loops inside themselves and than the code is not comprehensible. I hope my explanation was ok and thanks for help.

  • Finding all Stored procedures calling a function

    - by Abhishek Jain
Hi, How can I find out all the stored procedures that are calling a particular user defined function in SQL Server 2005. Or how to assign a defult value to a parameter in a user defined function so that when a stored procedure calls that function and does not pass any value to that parameter function assumes the default value. Regards, Abhishek jain
