  • I get NaN when I try to insert some HTML into a DIV element with jQuery

    I am tring to display a text box when a element of class numObj is clicked. For some reason I get NaNNaNaNaNNaNNaNaNaN where I expect to the see the result of the searchForm variable in the code below. I know that NaN stands for Not a Number. What I don't understand is why is Javascript expecting a number? I noticed that if I remove the vertical margins from innerElement I am able to get what I want but I cannot alter styles from within the outerElement. How do I do this? Obs: I already tried height, scrollheight and offsetHeight in all browsers. Chrome gives me the expected value (including inner element's margins) for scrollHeight. All other browsers fail.

    I apologize in advance, I am a PHP noob! I have form with some hidden fields. I need the values to POST to "submit_rma.php" so that they're not missing from the db--I need $qty, $estmate_id and $rma_type. The rest of the fields are just displaying data for the user and are readonly. Currently I only get value from the qty text field. Is there any easier way to pass these values? On: http://www.euroworker.no/order, there is meant to be a display of the amount of tax included in the price like: Tax (25%): 772,- Totalt: 3861,- But unless the user has logged in or created a new account, the tax doesn't display. I have placed a renamed copy of the config.js file in my webroot and call it with customConfig. It is not working for me though. Is my syntax creating any issues? When i check the source this <img id="wrapper-background" src="images/body-background-0.jpg" alt="Background" /> and i think theres some kind of script maybe php or js, or both, that every 5 sec changes the background: images/body-background-1.jpg images/body-background-2.jpg images/body-background-3.jpg and so on.. So how did they do this? an example would be great, as i want to learn how to do that. If i was going to do something like this i think i would only manage to do a script in php that randomize everytime you refresh. Thank you, this will expand my knowledge

  • Is is possible to parse a web page from the client side for a large number of words and if so, how?

    I have a list of keywords, about 25,000 of them. I would like people who add a certain < script tag on their web page to have these keywords transformed into links. What would be the best way to go and achieve this? I have tried the simple javascript approach (an array with lots of elements and regexping/replacing each) and it obviously slows down the browser. I could always process the content server-side if there was a way, from the client, to send the page's content to a cross-domain server script (I'm partial to PHP but it could be anything) but I don't know of any way to do this. Any other working solution is also welcome.

But my problem is, my page has multiple link_button and blueflip div's all over the page. when i click any one of link_button all of the blueflip div's are toggling.
