    I am using jQuery validation plugin for form validation. The problem I am facing is when I have inline labels.. For Example: <input type="text" name="myinput" value="Enter your ...."> This is the sample case where validation is failing because the 'value' is set for input field. Is there any workaround? How do I ignore default/label values?

  • In CodeIgniter, how to clear "form data" after redirecting page

    I'm not sure I explained it correctly in the question title, so here's the details: Login controller: function authenticate() { if ( authorized ) { redirect('lobby'); } else { redirect('login'); } } Lobby controller: function index() { //load lobby view } What happens is that in the login page, I enter user / pass, click Login, then authenticate() is called, and redirects me to the Lobby. However, when I click refresh while on the Lobby, the login form gets submitted again, so I get "logged in" again. How do I prevent that from happening?

I have set [ValidateInput(false)] and it works when debugging it locally, but I receive the following error when I have published the site: A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (message="<p> <em>Testing</e..."). can anyone explain why the published site is different from the locally site, especially when I have set [ValidateInput(false)]?

    I would like to obtain the list of controls under a given point. There is a method on System.Windows.Form to obtain a control under a point(GetChildAtPoint) but not point(GetChildsAtPoint). Is there something similar for the list of controls (if borders intersect one other): I need this because I select the objects when user clicks on the panel(I use Microsoft.VisualBasic.PowerPacks.RectangleShape as label bellow). In case if labels are superposed, user should be asked what object to select.

    I've just converted an application from MVC 1 to MVC 2 using the VS2010 wizard. Not found is the Html.RenderPartial which I have sprinkled around a number of views. I am guessing that this is something that I've done wrong because I see no mention of this as a breaking change in the white papers and docs. Everything I'm using is RTM/RTW and no beta or RC versions.

    The code below works as far as inserting records from a file into MySQL, but it only does so properly if the columns in the file are already ordered the same way as in the database. I would like for the user to be able to select the drop down the corresponds to each column in their file to match it up with the columns in the database (the database has email address, first name, last name). I am not sure how to accomplish this.     I'm using Eclipse to write php and naturally I get color coding like all IDEs do. How do I get the same effect in a blog? See this example (scroll down to see the code colors), he has full colors, green, red, blue, pretty acceptable I'd say http://www.tellinya.com/read/2007/06/15/20.html Is there something that's standalone PHP that can achieve this, or do I need a plugin and install a CMS? I'd prefer standalone I guess if possible.

The only way I have found is to copy sfGuardValidatorUser.class into /apps/frontend/lib/validator, but I would like to know if there is some way to just override the error message, not override the entire validator...
