    I'd like to make some room on /dev/sda1 without necessarily having to remove a whole bunch of applications (I've already gone through and deleted all frivolous apps).     All this is performed on Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS Server I installed LUA 5.1.4 following this procedure - http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1874860 I installed prosody following this command (after downloading the package) - sudo dpkg -i prosody_0.8.2-1_i386.deb After installation, I get the following error: I have tried to use as suggested luarock and sudo apt-get install to fix these. However, we currently use Subversion, and he doesn't want to force us devs to use a version control system that we don't like. Is is possible to integrate a different version control program into MKS Integrity? I'm particularly interested in SVN, Git, Mercurial and Bazaar. If you've tried mixing tools like this before, I'd love to hear about your experiences.

  • How do I get source file information with dumpbin /symbols when compiling with VS 2005?

    I have a tool which uses the output of dumpbin /symbols to do some dependency analysis with our C/C++ libraries. When we compiled the libs with VS 6.0, the dumpbin COFF SYMBOL TABLE contained entries like 000 00000008 DEBUG notype Filename | .file x:\mydir\mysource.c allowing me to get the relationship between sources and defined/used symbols, which is essential for my tool. When we compile with VS 2005, these entries are missing. When I look at the libs with a hex editor, it seems that there is no filename information at all included in the binary files, so it seems not to be a dumbin problem but is compilation related. So I'm looking for a way to get the Filename entries back into my libraries when compiling with VS 2005.

I'm trying DragonflyBSD operating system. as you can see here: http://www.dragonflybsd.org/download/ there are two kinds of images CD (.iso) and USB (.img) files available for download. I downloaded *.iso and using UNetbootin to make a bootable USB stick. But its taking hell lot of time. Its been 2 hours and its just 50% done(9k of 18k files). I'm really pissed off now! I used *.iso because I didn't know how to deal with *.img files. Will it be quick *.img file? How to use it to make bootable USB?

The problem is that I don't quite understand how PySide gets into the system's python environment. In fact, when I start a python shell, I cannot import PySide: >>> import PySide Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: No module named PySide Note: I am aware of the Installing PySide - OSX question, but that question is not relevant anymore, because it is about a specific a dependency on the Boost libraries, but with version 0.3.0 PySide moved from a Boost based source code to a CPython one.

  • Is it possible in any Java IDE to collapse the type definitions in the source code?

    Lately I often have to read Java code like this: LinkedHashMap<String, Integer> totals = new LinkedHashMap<String, Integer>(listOfRows.get(0)) for (LinkedHashMap<String, Integer> row : (ArrayList<LinkedHashMap<String,Integer>>) table.getValue()) { for(Entry<String, Integer> elem : row.entrySet()) { String colName=elem.getKey(); int Value=elem.getValue(); int oldValue=totals.get(colName); int sum = Value + oldValue; totals.put(colName, sum); } } Due to the long and nested type definitions the simple algorithm becomes quite obscured. So I wished I could remove or collapse the type definitions with my IDE to see the Java code without types like: totals = new (listOfRows.get(0)) for (row : table.getValue()) { for(elem : row.entrySet()) { colName=elem.getKey(); Value=elem.getValue(); oldValue=totals.get(colName); sum = Value + oldValue; totals.put(colName, sum); } } The best way of course would be to collapse the type definitions, but when moving the mouse over a variable show the type as a tooltip. Is there a Java IDE or a plugin for an IDE that can do this?

Both - openssl and curl - are installed on the office server as of now. I require immediate help. Thank you.

    I am trying to start a new installation of tomcat7 (on arch Linux). I have everything configured how I normally would but I am running into the problem described in the title. This means that tomcat starts but nothing in that host gets deployed.     Original question: I'm having trouble installing the PHP Pecl Intl extension on my CentOs 5 machine. After installing both icu and libicu with the following commands: $ yum install icu $ yum install libicu I tried to install the Intl extension like so: $ /usr/bin/pecl install intl I selected to search for the default location for the ICU libraries and header files. It ends up crashing like this: checking whether to enable internationalization support... yes, shared checking for icu-config... no checking for location of ICU headers and libraries... not found configure: error: Unable to detect ICU prefix or no failed. Please verify ICU install prefix and make sure icu-config works. ERROR: `/tmp/pear/temp/intl/configure --with-icu-dir=DEFAULT' failed update After successfully installing the development version of icu as suggested by RusAlex (thanks RusAlex) like so: $ yum install libicu-devel I ran into a new problem which I also encountered locally the following command: $ /usr/bin/pecl install intl now produces this error: /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:92: error: duplicate 'static' /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:96: error: duplicate 'static' /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:101: error: duplicate 'static' /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:107: error: duplicate 'static' make: *** [collator/collator_class.lo] Error 1 ERROR: `make' failed It appears to have something to do with PHP 5.3 being bundled with Intl already. But how can I enable this extension, if I look in my PHP Info than I cannot find any reference to it...

  • Trying to install Windows 7 on Samsung 530u3c. Laptop won't boot

    I just bought a Samsung 530u3c with Windows 8 installed,so it's a week old. From day one, I have wanted to revert back to Windows 7. So I have created a USB bootable drive with Windows 7 on, and tried installing it both on the SSD 24GB drive and the 465GB SATA HDD. The laptop will not boot from either drive. After trying to boot once, the laptop reboots and then presents me with a boot menu that only shows the SATA HDD. Selecting it does nothing. So I'm losing my mind here. I have absolutely no clue on how to solve this. I'm starting to think i just threw away 700 Euros... :( Any thoughts on what my next steps should be in troubleshooting the issue? Installation goes through without problems. All files are copied. By the time the laptop needs to restart, it goes into a boot loop.

Example: inbuilt-file.c InBuilt-File.c How do I checkout this branch when both the files are in the same folder?     I am running Win 7x32 secured corporate laptop. My USB audio device has .exe installer file which is not possible to execute because of having no admin rights. Is it possible to embed driver files in the system without installation? All attempts of unpacking the .exe file got failed. 7zip is extracting files without extensions and Universal Extractor says that .exe file is 7zip self extracting archive. Thank you Ron
