I am creating some JSON on the fly, serializing it and saving it to the DB.
To run it, i create a script element, and load it that way.
Is there a way to load the script source to a textarea?
Hi,
I have two enities: path <-- node. (one to many)
In nodes ArrayController I override -DeleteObjects: to remove path if the last node is removed.
Everything works perfect, but it's impossible to save edited document, because nodes are left in [ManagedObjectContext deletedObjcets]. It gives error on save. How to clean them up?

Hi,
Whenever I try to load the following part in tag on firfox browser, I get the message as "$ is not define". May I know the reason? I'm trying to load the jquery.js file before loading any custom script after CSS part.
<script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function(){
I am trying to understand different events in a Asp.net page life cycle. I came across to this link. It has two stages Load view state and Load postback data. I used to thought that these both means the same thing. But this article says, that postback data is not viewstate data. I don't understand this. If anyone can have a look.
I'd basically like to get
/path/file+name+with+plusses.mp3
to rewrite to
/path/file name with plusses.mp3
In my case wordpress is intercepting the request and giving a 404. But the file does indeed exist.
Given the constraints of the regex in mod_rewrite implementation, I haven't yet seen a straightforward way of doing this.
I am learning php, trying to use the fopen() function.
The php file I am coding is in this directory /domains/xxxxx.com.au/public_html/phpfile.php
What path do I specify for the file to be opened, the example I am looking at is based on a server on a pc where this is the file path $filename = "c:/newfile.txt"; not an online server.
I am able to build the shared object successfully using the holy native compiler "xlc" on AIX.It does build the shared object library but does not install the shared object library.
Configure command is:
./configure --prefix=/PATH/to/install --exec-prefix=/PATH/to/install --enable-shared --enable-static=no --enable-module=so --build=powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0 --host=powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0 LDFLAGS="-G -shared"
Any help would be appreciated?
A certain variable might contain a relative path or an absolute path. Either way, I need to be able to pull the filename from the variable:
http://www.somesite.com/dir1/dir2/filename.gif
/dir1/dir2/filename.gif
The directory structure is also arbitrary. So basically given either of the url's above (with arbirtrary directory structure) I need to pull 'filename.gif'. Thanks in advance
Hey
I'd like to know how to use XMLHttpRequest to load the content of a remote URL and have the HTML of the accessed site stored in a JS variable.
Say, if I wanted to load and alert() the HTML of http://foo.com/bar.php, how would I do that?
Thanks!
In development mode I would like to have assets served locally and when deployed in production I would like them served from the CDN. Anyone using play2 and serving content from CDN be willing to share how they are doing it?
// Thinking of something like this in the routes file...
@if(play.Play.isDev()) {
GET /assets/*file controllers.Assets.at(path="/public", file)
} else {
GET CDNPATH/assets/*file controllers.Assets.at(path="CDNPATH", file)
}
(Note: using 2.0.2 because of the headers fix https://github.com/playframework/Play20/pull/276)
I wrote a wrapper DLL for some native c++ functions and compiled it in c++/CLI, then I added a reference to C# project, functions indicates there, but when I try compile project I get this error:
"Additional information: Could not load file or assembly 'lib, Version=1.0.3742.39593, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. "
What's the problem ?
Thanks.
Im saving an object model out to XML but when i load it back in I get exceptions when trying to use PropertyInfo.SetValue() because the property doesn't have a setter just a getter.
I want to either not save out the properties that only have getters or figure out on load whether its valid for me to try and set a value or not.
Anybody know how to do this
Cheers
Hi I'd like to inquire on how i can load a WPF Xaml into code so that I can change the values of the attributes of some XAML elements and output it by creating another XAML files. This is so that I can output the same file with values dynamically input by the user.
the XamlReader.Load() method cannot be used; it will throw an exception (because they are unable to recognise Window as the root element). I'm using VS2013 and C#.
i'm playing around with c# reflection api. i can easily load type info of classes, methods etc. in an assembly.
now i wonder how can i load and read the code inside a method?
Yes it's Windows sorry.
I'm using mysqldump with the option -T which creates a sql and a txt file per table.
mysqldump -u user -ppass db -T path
I use that option to be able to restore easily one table.
Now I'd like to restore all the tables.
mysql -u user -ppass db < path/*.sql
Obvously doesn't work
Also, I don't know where do my funcs/procs go.
Thx
I am trying to use the Directory.GetFiles() method to retrieve a list of files of multiple types, such as mp3's and jpg's. I have tried both of the following with no luck:
Directory.GetFiles("C:\\path", "*.mp3|*.jpg", SearchOption.AllDirectories);
Directory.GetFiles("C:\\path", "*.mp3;*.jpg", SearchOption.AllDirectories);
Is there a way to do this in one call?
Can I create an event so I can execute some javascript whenever an element with a specific ID becomes visible or appears on the page?
The element comes from a remote resource (so isn't in MY html code but appears on page load) and I'd like some code to run when it appears (and only if it appears, it may not appear every load).
Thanks!
I have JQuery working to show a particular div when a certain link is clicked.
I have managed to apply the effect I'm after with the main navigation bar through id'ing the body tag and using css to style when the id is found.
However, i'd like to apply the same effect to the sub navigation when a certain div is present.
How the main navigation is styled:
HTML:
<nav>
<ul>
<li id="nav-home"><a href="index.html">Home</a></li>
<li id="nav-showreel"><a href="showreel.html">Showreel</a></li>
<li id="nav-portfolio"><a href="portfolio.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li>Contact</li>
</ul>
</nav>
CSS:
body#home li#nav-home,
body#portfolio li#nav-portfolio
{
background: url("Images/Nav_Underline.png") no-repeat;
background-position: center bottom;
color: white;
}
(Other links havent been added to styling as those pages are still in development)
How the sub navigation is structured:
<nav id="portfolioNav">
<ul>
<li id="portfolio-compositing"><a id="compositingWork" href="#">Compositing</a></li>
<li id="portfolio-animation"><a id="animationWork" href="#">Animation</a></li>
<li id="portfolio-motionGfx"><a id="GFXWork" href="#">Motion Graphics</a></li>
<li id="portfolio-3D"><a id="3DWork" href="#">3D</a></li>
</ul>
</nav>
As you can see, its similar format to the main navigation, however i've tried the same approach and it doesn't work :(
The Javascript that switches the divs on the navigation click:
<script type="text/javascript">
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#3DWork').click(function(){
$('#portfolioWork').load('portfolioContent.html #Portfolio3D');
});
$('#GFXWork').click(function(){
$('#portfolioWork').load('portfolioContent.html #motionGraphics');
});
$('#compositingWork').click(function(){
$('#portfolioWork').load('portfolioContent.html #PortfolioCompositing');
});
$('#animationWork').click(function(){
$('#portfolioWork').load('portfolioContent.html #PortfolioAnimation');
});
});
</script>

The effect I'm After:
Currently my application uses string[] subdirs = Directory.GetDirectories(path) to get the list of subdirectories, and now I want to extract the path to the latest (last modified) subdirectory in the list.
What is the easiest way to accomplish this?
(efficiency is not a major concern - but robustness is)
Hi
I'm using the following simple PHP proxy script but am getting a sporadic message at the destination site.
I'm thinking that perhaps it may have something to do with the HTTP_REFERER header, although I'm not explicitly defining it.
Can anyone tell me how to explicitly turn off or leave the HTTP_REFERER header blank?
Thanks in advance!
$url = $_GET['path'];
readfile($path);
I have a page with several galleries including accordions and sliders. The problem is that the page takes forever to load. Is there a way of wrapping an image in a bit of code or applying a class to it to force it to load only after everything else is loaded?
I have a WCF service to be load balanced with NLB (Windows Network Load Balancer). So I need a Dictionary object to be synced across all the instances of the WCF service.
What is the best possible way to do this?
I want to create a asp.net application which can show directions in a layout from room A to room B. So layout would be a grid of rooms and if the user wants to get directions from room A to room B the application to highlight the path in blue.
I have no idea how to begin with this? What can i use to create a floor layout and then highlight the required path. Any pointers ? Thanks.
