  • Does a nested subTable break reRender?

    Here is a minimal rich:dataTable with an a4j:commandLink inside.   • What value does SenderID provide over SPF and DKIM?

    I understand that SPF "binds" a message envelope to a set of permitted IP addresses. SenderID (with the default pra option) "binds" the message header to a set of permitted IPs in addition to the SPF logic. DKIM "binds" the from address header (and any additional header the sender chooses), and the body to a DNS Domain name I'm using the word "bind" above instead of "authorized" because it makes more sense (to me) Questions: If SPF is already verifies a message FROM in the envelope, why is there a need to check the headers? When would the need to verify the envelope (SPF) need to be different than the headers (SenderID) If I'm already verifying the headers with DKIM, why do I need SenderID? Most large companies I've checked don't disable SenderID with an explicit record. EBay is a notable example of one that does. What is the rationale for disabling SenderID "pra" processing of outbound messages?

  • IPsec tunnel to Android device not created even though there is an IKE SA

    I'm trying to configure a VPN tunnel between an Android device running 4.1 and a Fedora 17 Linux box running strongSwan 5.0. The device reports that it is connected and strongSwan statusall returns that there is an IKE SA, but doesn't display a tunnel. I used the instructions for iOS in the wiki to generate certificates and configure strongSwan. Since Android uses a modified version of racoon this should work and since the connection is partly established I think I am on the right track. I don't see any errors about not being able to create the tunnel.     Forgive me if this is a dumb beginners problem, but I really don't get it. I have a member variable declared like so: public Double Value; When I assign 3.14159265 to Value and try to compute the sine of it, this happens: system.out.println(Value.toString()); //outputs 3.14159265 Value = Math.sin(Value); system.out.println(Value.toString()); //outputs NaN In fact, this happens with every single value I tried - even with 0! Math.sin() seems to always produce NaN as a result, regardless of the arguments value. The docs say: If the argument is NaN or an infinity, then the result is NaN. But my argument is clearly not NaN or infinity! What the heck is happening there?

I'm running a simple SELECT query through our development team's DAO. The DAO returns a System.Data.DataTable object containing the results of the query. This is all working fine so far. The problem I have run into now: I need to pull a value out of one of the fields of the first row in the resulting DataTable - and I have no idea where to even start. Microsoft is so confusing about this! Arrrg! Any advice would be appreciated. I'm not providing any code samples, because I believe that context is unnecessary here. I'm assuming that all DataTable objects work the same way, no matter how you run your queries - and therefore any additional information would just make this more confusing for everyone.

    In my app, I need to set a variable for a start time to be 9:00 a.m. local, wherever the user is located. I have a timezone variable for each user and the save and retrieve are all working. But I need to set a variable when I create a new event to be 9:00 am in the user's local time zone. My current method uses the local time of the server, then makes the adjustments for the individual user's time zone. I don't know what I don't know - is there a command to create the value for "Today's date at 9:00 am where you are"? My current code is: t = Time.now.to_date.beginning_of_day + 11.hours (forcing the 2 hour offset between my primary user and the server in a different timezone).

  • Is there a way to add name/value functionality to jquery autocomplete for .net?

    I've recently added the JQuery autocomplete plug in and have a textbox that autocompletes a list of employees. It works great and I commend the authors of the plugin. I think the textbox would be MUCH more useful though, when upon selecting, we can extract the StaffID (Ie. retreive the value of the selection). My code is below and you can see that I am simply adding the staff names, would be nice to associate IDs. Does anyone know of any way to do this?     It is an iPad app based on SDK 3.2. I have a MainUIView, that is subclass from UIView, it have a UIButton and a UILabel. When user press the UIButton, the pop over control will be appeared with a table view. When the user select a cell from the table view, the UILabel changes content base on the user click, and the pop up table view will disappear. The question is, how can I pass the "selected cell" to the UILabel. I am thinking making a "middle man" object. When the user click the UIButton, and the "middle man" will pass to the table. When the cell is selected, the "middle man" will store the idx, and call the UILabel change content from the value of "middle man". But I think it is pretty complex to implement, is there any easier way to implement it? thz u.
