    Since I have just started working with Facebook's api I had a few questions regarding Facebook sessions. In the index of my iFrame app I have the user establish a new sessions and set the $me and $uid variables as displayed in their example. However, when my app navigates to a new page should I create a new session and redeclare these variables or is there some way to grab those values from the already declared session? Thanks

    I need a javascript solution to launch only one window, with a Java Applet in it, for a given URL. I found a solution posted here on Stack Overflow - here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/528671/javascript-window-open-only-if-the-window-does-not-already-exist But it doesn't seem to work .. I get Error: launchApplication.winrefs is undefined Line: 29 I can't seem to post the code in this little box and make it look right below, so the code (my working code, plus the solution from above) is here: http://pastie.org/833879 Where is the error? As I understand it, the hash or array or whatever I use to store the called references to the windows opened this way will be lost if the calling window is closed. Is there a way to make this work even if the calling window is closed and reopened? To basically ask the browser: "Do you have a window open with the following URL?" and if so, "What is the reference to that window?" (so I can raise it).

  • Click GEvent.addListener with jquery

    Created a google map with GMap2 and put pinpoints on there that open up a balloon with the address when the pinpoint is clicked. I would like users to be able to click text on the page itself and use jquery to open up the corresponding balloon. However I can't figure out the ID to use to call a jquery click event. Basically I've got a store listing down the left side and when user clicks store name I want it to open up the corresponding balloon. GEvent.addListener(marker_500, "click", function () { map.openInfoWindowHtml(point, myHtml); } Any idea what element tied to this click event is? Tried $("#marker_500").click(); And that doesn't work. Also tried alerting $(this).attr('id'); inside the click function and that is undefined. thanks jason

    I am playing with DxScene and VxScene: http://www.ksdev.com/dxscene/index.html It looks very nice and powerful: 3d accelerated vector graphics, cross plaform, nice effects, many 2d GUI controls (vector based), good scaling, transparency, rotating (x, y, z), 3d models, etc. Even with many effects, the CPU stays very low (0%)! http://www.ksdev.com/dxscene/snapshot/screen0.jpeg But can it be seen as a good WPF alternative for Delphi? And does anyone use it instead of normal Delphi VCL?

That would look stupid. When adding multiple counters, only one of the counters would count. When removing the queue function, both counters would work, but as you can imagine, the delay of the text() would be gone (as it isnt fx-category). It is probably a bit tricky to make out how I can have multiple counters, and still delay the text()-function by 100ms, but I was hoping there is somebody here with spare brain capacity for these things ;) You can see a (NSFW) problem demo here: Just look underneath the sharing icons and you will notice that the text changes WHILE the objects fade out. Looking for some help to sove this problem. I would like to call the text() function once the text has faded to opacity 0, then fade in once the text() has executed. Thank you for your time.

  • JavaScript: Change to Absolute Positioning

    I'm trying to center a page on any resolution while still being able to use absolute positioning to move pictures. I figure that the best way would be to have a table positioned relatively in the beginning in the center of the page, then change it to absolute positioning in the onload of the page. I think the correct line is: document.getElementById("Object").style.position = "absolute"; However, I put an alert box after it asking where the left side of the object is, I get undefined. But, if I directly assign it to a position (Object.style.left = 500) I will get that number. So I can assign it a value, meaning it is in absolute position, but I cannot pull a value out of that. Kind of confusing but hopefully it makes sense and someone knows what to do. Thanks.

My current environment is: Ruby 1.9.1 Rake 0.8.7 Albacore 0.1.4 The problem is that as of now all my rake build throw a funny little exception: undefined method 'push' for #<Enumerator:0x???????> So far I have traced the problem to albacore msbuild.rb line 38 and 26. To be honest I just don't have a clue why this is happening.   • Edit Contact code worked in 1.6 but doesn't work on Droid 2.1?

    Hi All, I had some fairly simple code in my app to invoke Edit Contact activity on a known good contact index that worked in Android 1.6 but is broken for me now in Android 2.1 on the Droid.     I want to forward declare a static member function of a class in another file. What I WANT to do looks like this: BigMassiveHeader.h: class foo { static void init_foos(); } Main.cpp: class foo; void init_foos(); int main(char** argv, int argc) { foo::init_foos() } This fails out with "error C2027: use of undefined type 'tt_py_ns::foo'" Is there a way to accomplish what I want to do with out making init_foos a free function, or including BigMassiveHeader.h? (BigMassiveHeader.h is noticeably effecting compile time, and is included everywhere.)

    Hello, I'm trying to build a facebook like search for my software. I'd like to query the table customers. I've set up a FULLTEXT Index and tried the next query SELECT * FROM Customer where CONTAINS(*,'*ann*') The query does return all the customers named Ann, but it doesn't return all the customers name Anne. Is there a way to create prefix search on SQL SERVER 2008 using FTS? Thanks.

  • MySql UDF using shared library won't load

    I am attempting to create a mysql UDF which will match a fingerprint using Digital Persona's free linux SDK library. I have written a trivial UDF as a learning experience which worked fine. However, when I added a dependency to Digital Persona's shared object I can no longer get MySql to load my UDF. I added includes to DP's headers and compiled my UDF using: gcc -fPIC -Wall -I/usr/src/mysql-5.0.45-linux-i686-icc-glibc23/include -shared -o dp_udf.so dp_udf.cc I also tried adding the -static argument, but whenever I restart MySql, I get the error: Can't open shared library 'dp_udf.so' (errno: 0 /usr/local/mysql/lib/plugin/dp_udf.so: undefined symbol: MC_verifyFeaturesEx) MC_verifyFeaturesEx is a function defined "dpMatch.h" which I included, and is implemented in libdpfpapi.so which I have tried placing in the same location as my dp_udf.so and in /usr/lib. Am I doing something wrong with my call to gcc (my C++ skills are rusty) or does MySql not allow UDFs to use additional shared objects?

  • AS2 acts randomly when changing scenes on the first frame

    I have a flash movie containing to scenes: scene1, scene2. I have chosen the order so that scene1 starts first, I was requested to add a functionality to allow flashvars to be passed, if fv_change equals one then scene2 should be the first to appear when the movie is loaded. I have included the following code in scene1 first frame of some layer: this.onEnterFrame = function() { delete this.onEnterFrame; if (isset==undefined && _root.fv_change && _root.fv_change==1) { isset = true; gotoAndStop("scene2",1); } } when testing in my flash environment everything worked fine, when I exported it to an HTML & SWF combo I got random results, I refreshed the page several times and some of the times scene2 appeared and some of the times it stayed with scene1. Am I doing something wrong? what is the correct way to change scene order using AS2 and external data(flashvars for that matter).

  • Why is the event object different coming from jquery bind vs. addEventListener

    Why is it when I use the jQuery bind the event object I get back is different from the event object I get back using addEventListener? The event object resulting from this jQuery bind does not have the targetTouches array (among other things) but the event from the addEventListener does. Is it me or is something not right here? $(document).ready (function () { $("#test").bind("touchmove", function (event) { console.log(event.targetTouches[0].pageX); // targetTouches is undefined }); }); vs. $(document).ready (function () { var foo = document.querySelectorAll('#test') foo[0].addEventListener('touchmove', function (event) { console.log(event.targetTouches[0].pageX); // returns the correct values }, false); });

In local, with xampp was everything ok, but on shared hosting I received the following message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /application/public/index.php on line 40. The line 40 is: $application-bootstrap()-run();. Any idea?

    I'm trying to extend Object functionality this way: Object.prototype.get_type = function() { if(this.constructor) { var r = /\W*function\s+([\w\$]+)\(/; var match = r.exec(this.constructor.toString()); return match ? match[1].toLowerCase() : undefined; } else { return typeof this; } } It's great, but there is a problem: var foo = { 'bar' : 'eggs' }; for(var key in foo) { alert(key); } There'll be 3 passages of cycle. Is there any way to avoid this?

    I've got a very simple Action on my Controller that's attempting to return my XmlSiteMap as a JsonResult: public ActionResult Index() { var nodes = SiteMap.Provider.RootNode; return new JsonResult() { Data = nodes, JsonRequestBehavior = JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet }; } However, when I call the Action, an InvalidOperationException is thrown: "A circular reference was detected while serializing an object of type 'System.Web.SiteMapNode'." Is there a way to Json serialize a SiteMap, or indeed any object that has children of the same type?
