  I have a db with thousands of domains and data. I want to list only 100 rows of each domain. i can't use LIMIT 100 cause that only limits 100 records but I want dom1 to list 100 dom2 to list 100 dom3 to list 100 all in one query. This is what I have so far. SELECT domain COUNT(Key) AS DomCount FROM table_domain GROUP BY user,location ORDER BY domain,DomCount DESC Could I use a CASE?

  Hi As i know, all the threads share memory location. For example a global variable changes in one thread will reflect in another thread. Since each thread has its own stack, the local variables that are created inside the thread is unique. In this case, why do we need to go for thread specific data mechanism?. Can't it be achieved by auto storage varibles inside the thread function ? Kindly clarify!!!. BR Rj

Use case: I have my mobile phone connected via USB, Using gammu --sendsms TEXT I can write text messages. I have the phonebook as CSV, and want to search-as-i-type on that. Why this._instance is not accessing the the varible which should be accessible by virtue of closure. I tested this in FF and am getting undefined.

But if this field empty i get empty query result. Its possible make query like this with empty fields?

Why can't the compiler figure it out on its own? If you always used a . does any case exist where it is ambiguous whether you mean a member or a member by pointer?

  I know this is probably a very obvious answer and that I'm exposing myself to less-than-helpful snarky comments, but I don't know the answer so here goes. If Python compiles to bytecode at runtime, is it just that initial compiling step that takes longer? If that's the case wouldn't that just be a small upfront cost in the code (ie if the code is running over a long period of time, do the differences between C and python diminish?)

  I have a DB with user accounts information. I've scheduled a CRON job which updates the DB with every new user data it fetches from their accounts. I was thinking that this may cause a problem since all requests are coming from the same IP address and the server may block requests from that IP address. Is this the case?   Hi, I'm trying to make a jquery tooltip that appears when a user mouses over a link. In my case the link is using display:block style so that it covers a large area. It works perfectly in Chrome and Firefox but in Internet Explorer it doesn't work at all. The tooltip doesn't show, the browsers own tooltip shows etc...
