• Removing Directions markers from the Google Maps API V3

  To remove a normal marker from a map, I understand you simply call marker.setMap(null), but when implementing the Google Maps directions services, it automatically adds markers A and B onto the map ( calculating directions from point A to point B ). I do not have control over these markers, so I cannot remove them in the normal way. So how can I remove these markers (I have custom markers on the map instead)?

• Sharepoint, error on adding a webpart to a totally new page.

  I have a problem on adding a webpart to sharepoint page. I have a blank page in the sharepoint, and I have a custom control uploaded to the site, on adding the webpart the the sharepoint page I get the following error: "Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))" I get that error even if the sharepoint page is totally blank and so is the web part.

  I've created a custom solution in WordPress that will generate a CSV file to be downloaded by clicking a simple hyperlink, linked directly to this file. Instead of being prompted to download the file to the computer; the CSV opens in the the browser window instead. FWIW I'm on Media Temple using a vanilla install of WordPress.

  I have created a simple view consisting of 3 tables in SQL. By right clicking and selecting Design, in the Object explorer table, i modified my custom view. I just added sortby asc in a field. The problem is that the changes are not reflected in the outout of the View. After saving the view, and selecting Open view the sort is not displayed in output. So what is going on here?

What do you think is best - from maintenance and performance point of view - to split these huge tables in smaller entities or to keep the tables the way they are ?   Hello, what can i do, if a Mailserver accepts a connection but does not return any data? The default javax.mail implementation just hangs indefinitley. Event setting the smtp.timeout does not help - it still hangs. I even tried to set a custom SocketFactory to set the sotimeouts and solinger directly, but it still hangs. Somehow the socket does get kept alive? But how? Thx for any ideas! Ciao, Nils
