    Hi all In my win forms c# app, I want to be able to add spell check functionality. But, I want to do it my own way, and NOT use any other components. All I need is just an online service where i can send a request or something and it tells me whether or not the word i sent was spelled correctly. Preferred but not required: The ability for that online sevrice to also send back suggestions. Thank you :)

  • Chrome / Firefox - positioning slightly off

    Firefox and Chrome are positioning elements slightly off from each other - like a few pixels. Below are screen shots so you can see what I'm talking about. Can't figure out a fix. Notice the word 'giants' is positioned way higher on the firefox browser.   • Remove a character from a given position on Oracle

    Is there anyway to remove a character from a given position? Let's say my word is: PANCAKES And I want to remove the 2nd letter (in this case, 'A'), so i want PNCAKES as my return. Translate doesnt work for this. Replace doesnt work for this. Regex is damn complicated... Ideas?

    I need to split this line string in each line, I need to get the third word(film name) but as you see the delimeter is one big blank character in some cases its small like before the numbers at the end or its big as in front of numbers at front.     Hi, I would like to multi-thread an application, however one library i'm using is not multi-thread capable (i don't know what's the right word ? synchronized ?). What are my options ? As far as i know there's nothing in between threads and processes (Runtime.exec) in java (no abstraction in the jvm to have something like an isolated "java process"). How would you deal with that ?

    As I just learned from this question, .NET regexes can access individual matches within a repeated capturing group. I. e., if I apply a regex like \b(\w+\s*)+ to a string of words, only the last word will be stored in \1 or Match.Groups(1).Value, but using Match.Groups(1).Captures I get access to all the individual matches the regex iterated over. Are there other regex flavors that support this besides .NET?

    hi, how can I fix this problem on Internet Explorer 7: If I resize the browser window you'll see that the letters of the last tag on the right (in the header) are displayed in vertical one above each other. This happen only in IE, and not in other browser (you can better see the bug by visiting the website: http://www.sanstitre.ch/drupal/portfolio How can I ask IE 7 to consider the word as block, and move it to next line instead of listing the letters in vertical ? thanks
