• Custom title bar without padding (Android)

  So I am using the techniques in this thread to use a custom background for my titlebar. Unfortunately the framework places my layout inside a FrameLayout which has padding and so the image doesn't cover the whole bar, but instead has gray borderes. Is there anyway to remove this padding? I can't just set the padding attributes because I do not create the frame layout.

  I saw a similar question about the reason Google Chrome wasn't written in C#. But with the upcoming version of Windows and Microsoft's flagship language, I am having a hard time understanding why Microsoft isn't pushing C# to its fullest potential to give it more exposure via their market share? In addition can be interpreted as "Is C# and the .Net framework suitable to run a modern OS like Windows 7" Btw this is not a flaming question, but curiosity. I use C# daily and really love it.

  I have created a package in VS2010 RC using the MPF (Managed Package Framework) and I get the following error. Can somebody help me out with this ?? The "UseRANU" parameter is not supported by the "VsTemplatePaths" task. Verify the parameter exists on the task, and it is a settable public instance property. The "VsTemplatePaths" task could not be initialized with its input parameters.

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance Update: maybe a mistake in my test but I can't get an object that should be returned by a middleware. I'll inverstigate more.   I like knockout.js, the only problem is Visual Studio knows nothing about this framework, so it does not prevent me from silly things like assigning some value to observable property with '=' operator which makes it regular property, and it's not easy to reveal at compile time and often at runtime even. I wonder is there any syntax checker/highlighter for Visual Studio 2010 that helps me prevent faults like this? What about VS 2011? It might be a great help for developers who are new to knockout.
