  • How Netbeans Editors know that file is not modified after undo?

    Netbeans uses standart UndoManager API for implementation of undo functionality. But neither standart javax.swing.undo.UndoManager nor org.openide.awt.UndoRedo.Manager doesn't have any method to mark states as saved and check modified status. Nonetheless if you change the file and press undo, the file is marked as unmodified. How do they do that? I need the same functionality for my (non-text) editors if the Netbeans RCP application.

    Is there a way to fix the position of the columns in a domain? I have this domain: class SnbrActVector { int nid String term double weight static mapping = { version false id(generator: 'assigned') } static constraints = { nid(blank:false) term(blank:false) weight(blank:false) } } This is the schema of the table generated: CREATE TABLE `fractor_grailsDEV`.`snbr_act_vector` ( `id` bigint(20) NOT NULL, `weight` double NOT NULL, `term` varchar(255) COLLATE utf8_unicode_ci NOT NULL, `nid` int(11) NOT NULL, PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci It seems that the order of the columns were reversed. Is there a way to make it like this?   • Skip maven2 plugin by default

    Hello, I am looking for a way to not have a plugin execute on install. More specifically, my scenario is as follows: I am using org.apache.cxf:cxf-codegen-plugin to generate source code. Every time I clean+install the source is generated I only want generation of source code to happen when I explicitly request it. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

    Trying to save files in python: g = open('~/ccna_pages/'+filename, 'w') g.write(page) g.close() Get this error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "dl-pages.py", line 50, in g = open('~/ccna_pages/'+filename, 'w') IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '~/ccna_pages/1.0.1.1.html' However, the directory does exist at that location.     hi i have problems in converting an XML document type into a Document object.. this is the piece of code line 1 : Document doc=null; line 2 : doc = (Document) parser.parse(sourceFile); for this line 2 it throws java classcast exception.. without the typecast it shows error as "Type mismatch: cannot convert from org.w3c.dom.Document to javax.swing.text.Document" how do i now typecast properly? any suggestions??

    We have gotten WSO2 governance registry to send e-mails successfully. Now we want to template the emails that are being sent out. We cannot compile the sample anyway as the Maven compiler keeps looking up the references files and errors with checksum validation failed. Thanks

  • 600 tables in DDBB

    Hi all, I'm a very young software architect. Now I'm working in a very large and I have to lead a group of developers to rewrite all the mortgage system of the bank. I'm looking at database tables and I realize that there is no any data model, neither documentation. The worst part is that there are about 1000 tables in dev environment, and like 600 in production. I trust more the production environment, but anyway, what can I do? I mean, I can suicide me or something, but is there any good reverse engineering tool, so at least I could get the schema definition with the relations between tables and comments extracted from the fields? Can you advice me something? Thanks in advance.

    In an Android app, I am using one static instance of org.apache.http.impl.client.DefaultHttpClient and sharing that instance in all activities and services of the app, so that this client may be used to log in once to a remote server and all subsequent user requests to that remote server will remain authenticated. Every activity or Service that makes a GET or POST to this remote server calls the same method : MyUtilityClass.gettHttpClient() Do I need to worry about synchronization of this httpclient? If so, what is the best way to handle this?
