    In the dbase I 've few tables named as aaa_9xxx, aaa_9yyy, aaa_9zzz. I want to find all data with a specified DATE and show it with the TIME ASC. First, I must find a tables in the dbase: $STH_1a = $DBH->query("SELECT table_name FROM information_schema.tables WHERE table_name LIKE 'aaa\_9%' "); foreach($STH_1a as $row) { $table_name_s1[] = $row['table_name']; } Second, I must find a data wit a concrete date and show it with TIME ASC: foreach($table_name_s1 as $table_name_1) { $STH_1a2 = $DBH->query("SELECT * FROM `$table_name_1` WHERE date = '2011-11-11' ORDER BY time ASC "); while ($row = $STH_1a2->fetch(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC)) { echo " ".$table_name_1."-".$row['time']."-".$row['ei_name']." <br>"; } } .. but it shows the data sorted by tables name, then by TIME ASC.   • Global temporary tables getting data from different session in Oracle

    We have a stored procedure in Oracle that uses global temporary tables. In most of our other stored procedures, first thing we do is delete data from global temporary tables. However, in few of the stored procedures we do not have the delete's. Are there any other options other than adding the delete statements? Can something be done on the Server side to forcefully delete data from those temporary tables when that SP is ran?

    Hi. I've got form for some model A, which has got few fields: tile description ... colors colors are selected from multiple select and options are ['red', 'green', 'blue', 'yellow']. User can choose colors as many as he wants. I don't think that making Color model and has_many relationship is good solution here to store colors data in model A.   • How do you manage web navigation info in your application?

    I’m building an application where different users will have different menu items available to them depending on what they’ve paid for. There will also be multiple levels to the menu hierarchy. What’s the best approach to this problem? I’m assuming I need a database table that represents the menu hierarchy, including the parent-child relationships of the nodes in the navigation as well as the sorting of the items. Then another table which I use to manage whether a user is authorized to access a particular item in that table. When I render the view, I’d reference the menus, and the access rights of the user to output the menu, and I’d also need a function to check that same authorization from each controller in case a user manually types in a URL of a controller they’re not supposed to have access to. Is this the right approach? Any suggestions for caching this to prevent the constant look-ups of this type of info? I’m open to any suggestions on how you may have approached this type of requirement.
