    I am using Red Gates ANTS memory profiler to debug a memory leak. It keeps warning me that: Memory Fragmentation may be causing .NET to reserver too much free memory. or Memory Fragmentation is affecting the size of the largest object that can be allocated Because I have OCD, this problem must be resolved. What are some standard coding practices that help avoid memory fragmentation. Can you defragment it through some .NET methods? Would it even help?

    I had done Edge detection using wavelet transform using thus steps changing the image to Gray scale decomposing the image using dwt2(discrete wavelet transform,Haar wavelet filter ) in to horizontal,vertical,diagonal and approximation(detail) further decomposing the horizontal part threshold (global threshold like canny Edge detection ) i got the edge but i got a problem while locating the edge to complete image to mean recovering original image using only the Edges so i need help concerning this either in concept ,mat lab code or references I hope i will get your help soon

  • List MySQL enum in Java

    Is there a way to get all possible values from a MySQL enum column? The MySQL documentation says the MySQL enum type is returned as a Java String, so I basically would like a way to get all possible strings I can pass when querying a table with such an enum. I couldn't immediately find anything when I was looking through the metadata returned for such a column, but since enum isn't standard SQL, I'm not sure it's even possible... any suggestions?

  • How do i change the start in path of a shortcut for nsis?

    I have an nsis installer script for the application im working on and it can place a shortcut on the desktop and in the start menu folder but each shortcut has the wrong start in path and as such the app saves data files to where the short cut is. Is there an easy way to change the start in path as the documentation was less than helpful on the matter?     Has anyone gotten UIFileSharingEnabled or CFBundleDocumentTypes to work? I added UIFileSharingEnabled as true to my plist and used Apple's example from the link below for CFBundleDocumentTypes, but can't seem to get it to work.   • Qwt setAxisScale() locks up application when given numbers less than 2e-07 and greater than 0

    I'm using Qwt for some scientific graphing, and I'm working with some fairly small numbers, the smallest being around 1.0e-22. I'm trying to call setAxisScale(xaxis, xmin, xmax) //xmin = 0, xmax = 2.0e-10 But when I do, the application locks up. I haven't found anything in the documentation that refers to a minimum value. Xmin and xmax are both doubles, so that shouldn't be a problem. Is this a bug in Qwt, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance

    I have the following: - (NSInteger) numberOfComponentsInPickerView:(UIPickerView *)pickerView { return 2; } - (NSInteger) pickerView:(UIPickerView *) pickerView numberOfRowsInComponent:(NSInteger) component { return [genderPickerData count]; return [agePickerData count]; } When I do this, the UIPicker is split into 2 components, but the PickerData is only being represented for gender on both pickers. I am trying to figure out through Apple's confusing documentation on how I reference each individual component but can't seem to figure it out.
