    I'm trying to get a list of JSON objects (products) from a local file using Jquery and store all the objects in a single array called allItems. The file is co-located in the same directory as the code, and it's called "allItems.json".   • H12 timeout error on Heroku

    Can anyone shed some light on what's causing this timeout error on Heroku (at 2012-07-08T08:58:33+00:00)? The docs say that it's because of some long running process. I've set config.assets.initialize_on_precompile = false in config/application.rb.     Hello, I set up a new webapp maven project and wanted to test it with jetty's maven plugin. So issuded in the console the command: mvn jetty:run After defining the pluginGroup in Maven's setting file I ran once again the command. Unfortunately, it failed because i was using one of the below mentioned versions of the plugin. The first has artifact id: maven-jetty-plugin and the 2nd:jetty-maven-plugin. Why there are 2 maven based plugins for achieving the same thing - running jetty? Why do they have to bring so much confusion? Or be so kind as to explain me the differences between them. Thank you.

    Hello everybody, I want to generate html layout with areas (divs, spans) that can be shown/hidden conditionally. These areas are hidden by default. If I call .hide method with jquery on document.ready these areas may blink (browsers render partially loaded documents). So I apply "display: none" style in html layout. I wonder what is the best practice to avoid blinking, because applying "display:none" breaks incapsulation rule - I know what jquery does with hide/show and use it. If jquery's hiding/showing implementation will change one day, I'll get the whole site unworkable. Thank you in advance

    On my master page (for all pages in my site) I have a ToolkitScriptManager. On my content page, there are a series of hyperlinks and divs for collapsible functionality. The code to show/hide the panels work like the following: $('#nameHyperLink').click(function() { var div = $('#nameDiv'); var link = $('#nameHyperLink'); if (div.css('display') == 'none') { link.text('Hide Data'); div.show('100'); } else { link.text('Show Data'); div.hide('100'); } }); If I include a ScriptReference to the jQuery 1.4.2 file in the toolkitscriptmanager, the javascript code is executed incorrectly on the page (only the text for the hyperlink is changed, the div is not actually shown.) However, if I don't include the jQuery file in the ToolkitScriptManager and instead include it in the content page, it works correctly. I'm a Javascript/jQuery newbie, and this makes no sense at all. What's going on here?

I'm after a quick fix as I really don't have the time to learn jquery or its event handlers. The plugin takes a static state of the tag UL – and run the plugin on it. which mean that if i move the “currentPageItem” from the first LI tag and give it to the next LI tag – the spasticNav doesn’t run for each object again. it still “remembers” the old state. ( because the .js file run only once at the top of the page ) So what should I add to the code in order to get dynamic “Click” event ? I don't have any other control over the page markup etc. I need to add an extra element via jquery after each present on the page. The issue is that the elements are generated via an asynchronous call on the existing page which occurs after $(document).ready is complete. Essentially, I need a way of calling my jquery after the page has loaded and the subsequent ajax calls have completed. Is there a way to detect the completion of any ajax call on the page and then call my own custom function to insert the additional elements after the newly created s ?

    I'm new to the CKEditor and I'm trying to create a simple plugin. What I'm hoping to accomplish is to allow the user to highlight some text and then hover on a new item in the toolbar that drops down on mouse over a few different highlight color options for the text. For example, the user could highlight some text, hover on my new item and then select a highlight color. This will be similar to the 'BGColor' plugin except instead of opening a color palette to choose from, the user would select from a drop down of options similar to when you choose to change the font size you have a list of options such as '10', '11', '12', etc. Any help would be appreciated on how to pull this off. I was hoping to check out how 'BGColor' and 'FontSize' plugins where implemented, but I can't find these in ../ckeditor/_source/plugins. Am I looking in the right spot? Also, the link for plugins here - http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/Developers_Guide isn't clickable so I'm not sure if there's a place for plugin documentation that I can check out.

When using animate(), the image in the div tag fades in fine. However, when I use show(), the div loads because I can click in that area, but the image itself doesn't load. Why is this happening? I have another area of the code where I click on an 'x' in the image and it fades out using hide(). This works fine.

    Essentially, I want to implement a jQuery feature on a site that I'm building, but I don't want Internet Explorer users to have to click "Allow Blocked Content". The feature works fine with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. It's only IE that prompts the users with the Active X warning. I'm using the following jQuery cycle plugin: http://malsup.com/jquery/cycle/ I thought that I might simply have to live with the fact that users have to click on the Active X message when they use the site, but Zendesk (www.zendesk.com) is using the same implementation and that site doesn't prompt me with the warning. Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated.

A solution based on duplicating the parent POM and/or the profile defined inside it is not a good one. Since if the responsible of the parent POM change something, I would have to report it in mine. It's just an inheritance matter (extend or override a profile, a configuration from an upper-level POM) so I think it should be possible with maven2.

    .saf_search is a button, when it's clicked, the menu .lisearch fades in, when you click anywhere on the page EXCEPT for on the menu .lisearch, then it should fade out(that's how it's SUPPOSED to work) Does anyone know why this isn't working?     Hello! I'm working my way through the 'Foundation Rails 2' book. In Chapter 9, we are building a little "plugins" app. In the book, he installs the acts_as_rateable plugin found at http://juixe.com/svn/acts_as_rateable. This plugin doesn't appear to exist in 2010 (the page for this "old" plugin seems to be working again...it was down when I tried it earlier), so I found another acts_as_rateable plugin at http://github.com/azabaj/acts_as_rateable. These plugins are different and I'm trying to get the "new" plugin working with the code/project/app from the Foudations 2 book. I was able to use the migration generator included with the "new" plugin and it worked. Now,though, I'm a bit confused. In the book, he has us create a new controller to work with the plugin (the old plugin). The book gives code to get things working with the old plugin, but if one were actually building this app today it would be necessary to use this "new" plugin, so I would like to see how it could be used.
