    hi im building a scraper using python 2.5 and beautifulsoup but im stuble upon a problem ... part of the web page is generating after user click on some button, whitch start an ajax request by calling specific javacsript function using proper parameters is there a way to simulate user interaction and get this result? i come across a mechanize module but it seems to me that this is mostly used to work with forms ... i would appreciate any links or some code samples thanks

I've got the following in my pavement.py: from paver.setuputils import setup from distutils.core import setup import py2exe import paver paver.setuputils.install_distutils_tasks() ... but when I run paver py2exe I get "Build failed: py2exe is not a Task". What am I doing wrong?

    I need to implement time calculation for repository methods in my asp .net mvc project classes. The problem is that i need to send time calculation data to WCF Service which is time consuming. I think about threads which can help to cal WCF service asynchronously. But I have very little experience with it. Do I need to create new thread each time or I can create a global thread, if so then how?     I am trying to install postgrepsql to cygwin on a windows 7 machine and want it to work with django.
