  • WPF: Can I use VisualStateManager to change alignment?

    Hi, I've got this "object-stack" - Window --- Grid (VerticalAlignment = Stretch) ----- Border (VerticalAlignment = Stretch OR Top) The Border a primitive UserControl right now to keep things simple for me. I'd like to be able to use the VisualStateManager to toggle the VerticalAlignment-property of the Border, so that the "Normal-state" equals VerticalAlignment.Top and "Expanded-state" equals VerticalAlignment.Stretch. Is this possible? Also, I'd like to use an easing function, when swithing between the two states.

    Hi all I am using the following javascript code to refresh another page window.opener.location.replace(url) The problem is when entering the url, do not find the page as the page is located in the root and this calling code is placed in a page inside another folder. How do I specify the path to point to the root, which is where the page is located? I have try many things, but it does not work; //page.aspx, ../page.aspx, ~/page.aspx, page.aspx, /page.aspx....   • Core-Data Can't pass managedObjectContext from app delegate to view controller

    I'm making a core-data application that is view based. I can create the managedObjectContext and 'use' it in the app delegate, but can not pass it to the mainviewcontroller. Probably something simple, but I can't find the problem after looking for quite a while. The managedObjectModel is nil in the mainviewcontroller.   • VS 2008 hangs(slow) when I select "File > Open > Web Site..."

    When I try to select the following "File Open Web Site" or use the shortcut key "Shift + Alt + O" (which does the same), Visual Studio 2008 hangs with the loading mouse icon for about 8-10 seconds then the file. But if I do "File Open Project/Solution.." or "File Open File..." the explorer window comes up in under a second, instantly most times. Computer Specs: Windows 7 x64 Visual Studio 2008 Pro Edition with Service Pack 1 Intel Core2 Due e6420 @ 3.2GHz 4GB DDR2

FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(userName, false) As of now, if we closes the browser window and relaunch it, users are asked to authenticate again. But we want to ask users to authenticate again if they close the tab and try to access any of the website urls.

    Hi 2ALL... I've a tablesorter with attached pager plugin on my page with links 'Details' in the one of the cell. Links have a class='lightwindow' and after clicking is rising up a LightWindow script with a window. So it work's vell on the First Page .. when i click Next Page on SortTable.Pager and clickin on my link 'Details' it's doesnt work correctly, it looks like my links lost their class='lightwindow'. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know how I can add a custom Toolbar to my Cocoa/MacRuby application, which will accept "regular" items for e.g. switching the view (see http://www.stevestreeting.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/SelectableToolbarDemo001.png). I've read some tutorials and I guess I have to create a custom delegate for the Toolbar and then connect it via the Outlets window, but how does the myCustomDelegate.rb have to look like?     in a large listview control collection (say 5000 items), adding a SINGLE extra item can take 10+ seconds in windows vista/7, and that's just the LVM_INSERTITEM message handling it looks that it only affects LVS_ICON, LVS_REPORT and LVS_LIST are still very fast can anybody confirm this? the same code on windows XP with similar listview window styles adds an extra item instantly thanks nikos
