  • How do you clear RootLayoutPanel in GWT?

    I have Buttons attached to elements on the modules entrypoint html page using RootPanel.get("foo").add(button). If I subsequently create a LayoutPanel and attach it using RootLayoutPanel.get.add(layoutpanal) then the buttons cannot be clicked. This is all fine. If I then try and remove the layoutpanel or clear the RootLayoutPanel the buttons still cannot be clicked. Any ideas how to clear this? Have I missed a step or should you simply never try and get back to using a page's RootPanel if you have used a RootLayoutPanel?   • Customising the .NET PrintPreviewDialog?

    Currently i'm using the PrintPreviewDialog to open a window to preview the printed pages before they are sent to a printer. The problem is though that it first appears very small, at the top left of the screen and the buttons are too small. Is there anyway i can set a starting size for this dialog or start position or even make the little buttons a little bigger? Or do i need to implement my own?

    When using Sortable.create I can't seem to get the element that is being dragged. Does Sciptaculous not fully implement all Draggable and Droppable features when you use sortable? Given: Sortable.create("sortArea", {scroll:window, onChange:orderLi}); function orderLi(){ console.log(this.draggables.each(function(e){if(e.dragging==true){return e};})); } My console always shows all the array of draggables. How do I only grab the one that is being dragged?

  • make textarea fullscreen jquery (for use as code editor)

    I have a text area in which users can type source code (html/css/js). I want to be able to let them click a "switch to fullscreen" link to make the editor fullscreen. Of course, this should work on any resolution and must also resize when a users resizes it's window. I found this plugin, http://plugins.jquery.com/project/fulltextarea, but it's not resizing when the browser windows is resized. Any tips or plugins for this one?

    I have a figure that displays 20,000 points on the x-axis. So it labels the x-axis from 0 ... 20,000. However, now I would like to scale it from 0 to 50. But when I try to do this in the plot window it just shows me the first 50 points, instead of changing the scale. Is there any straightforward way to do that in MATLAB?

Here is the design-time look: .. but during run-time I get this: With the toolbar seemingly partially hidden under the menu names. This is on the Mac, btw. Is there something stupid I've forgotten to do or some layout trick I should be using? EDIT: I'll add that the area below the toolbar is a SplitContainer.
