• CSRF error when trying to log onto Django admin page with w3m on Emacs23

  I normally use Firefox and have had no problems with the admin page on my Django website. But I use Emacs23 for writing my posts, and wanted to be able to use w3m in Emacs to copy the stuff across. When I try to log into my admin pages, it gives the CSRF error: CSRF verification failed. Request aborted. Help Reason given for failure: No CSRF or session cookie. ... Is there a way that I could get w3m to work with my admin page? I am not sure if the problem lies with the way the admin is set up on Django or with the Emacs or w3m settings.

• WCF over named pipes

  Hi I have a problem with following scenario: There is a windows service running which spawns several processes. These processes open a WCF service host over a named pipe binding. Now the parent windows service tries to ping (connect) to the child processes using the wcf proxy over the well known named pipe. This, however fails saying: "Endpoint not found" If I run the parent process as a console application it works fine. Any ideas? I was thinking about permissions but the child processes should inherit the permission of the service, besides they are in the same session as well. thanks, Christoph

• GlassFish Starting Up Java SE Client - No Initial Context Exception

  Hi I have developed a java se client that calls some session beans on a glassfish server. I connect to the bean remote interface like this. context = new InitialContext(); em = (ICrudService) context.lookup("java:global/BackITServer/CrudServiceImpl"); This works fine from inside eclipse (gf-client on build path). When I export my project as a runnable jar and call it on the console with java -jar BackItClient.jar I get a NoInitialContextException. MMMM. I would very much appreciate some help.   I have an issue with using GVim on Windows. I have set up the following in my .vimrc: if has("gui_running") autocmd VIMEnter * :source C:/session.vim endif Unfortunately this creates a problem. If I'm a the top of the file and try to move up a line (k), the screen flashes. If I hold the key for just a second it will flash a few dozen times, it is really nasty too look at. I've tried using GUIEnter instead but I got the same results. The docs mention that I can fire an autocommand only once, but I couldn't figure out the exact syntax. Care to help?

• Templated Control databinding to custom properties

  Is there some trick that I'm missing here? I've created a templated control, very simple. One single property on it, and I'd like to databind from the (viewmodel/datacontext of the) page in which it's hosted to a custom property on the control. The property will eventually be a vector type object, defining the position of the control, however in an attempt to get this to work I've tried reducing it to a basic string property. Each time I'm faced with "Set property 'SimpleGame.Classes.Sprite.Property' threw an exception.". I can't even catch the exception in a debug session, the set property code is not being executed. Do I need to use a dependency / attached property or something? I wouldn't have thought so...

  Hi, I have a website A.com and a domain at B.com with a widget inside an iframe getting data from A.com. I want to allow x-domain cookies to be passed from a.com to inside the iframe using ASP.NET My understanding is that - I can do this in IE using P3P Headers - such that the A.com cookie is passed to the iframe and session | cookie data is preserved. The P3P headers have to be sent from the A.com and from the iframe. Is this correct ? In dev, my understanding is if I "accept all cookies" in IE - then P3P headers won't matter anyway and so this should all just work. If I put on Medium Security then P3P is required.

  Hi. We have some Delphi code that uses the BDE to Access SQL Server 2008 through the SQL Server Native Client ODBC driver (2005 version). Our issue is that we're experiencing some deadlock issues in a loop doing inserts to multiple tables. The whole loop is done within a [TDatabase].StartTransaction. Looking at the SQL Server Profiler we clearly see that at one point during the loop the SPID (Session ID?) change, and then we naturally end up with a deadlock. (Both SPID doing inserts to the same table) It seems like the BDE at some point does a second connection to the DB... (Although I would love to skip the BDE, it's currently not possible. ) Anyone with experiences to share?

  Has anybody some information about accessing Lotus Domino server to fetch entire mail contents by http(s) requests from php linux server? The article by Andrei Kouvchinnikov describes well how to fetch message list in notes mail folders; after obtaining session id during login one can for example select top 100 messages by calling: https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)?ReadViewEntries&Start=1&Count=100 And this works perfectly. The problem arises when I am trying to get message contents (0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811 is an example message unique Id): https://your.server.domain/mail_db/mailbox.nsf/($Inbox)/0A1DA5EEB7B65277C12576F50055D811/?OpenDocument Such request in IE shows frameset with data hard to parse, in less common browsers like Opera it informs about unsupported browser. Ideally if it is possible to fetch notes message contents and all attachments by requesting it in the url, has anybody some information what request would it be? • sending instant messages through python (msn)

  ok I am well aware there are many other questions about this, but I have been searching and have yet to find a solid proper answer that doesnt revolve around jabber or something worse. (no offense to jabber users, just I don't want all the extras that come with it) I currently have msnp and twisted.words, I simply want to send and receive messages, have read many examples that have failed to work, and msnp is poorly documented. My preference is msnp as it requires much less code, I'm not looking for something complicated. • How to force client to switch RTP transport from UDP to TCP?

  If the client wants to watch a stream that is on my RTSP server, it first tries to setup a stream through the UDP protocol. How can I tell it that my server only supports RTP/AVP/TCP and that it should switch transports? I want to terminate the UDP support on my server, but all the clients first try to SETUP the session over UDP, and later they do so over TCP... and I want to switch them to TCP as soon as possible in RTSP protocol. How can I do that?

For that purpose I though of building cli utility. The utility will connect to the application and send user commands (one line strings) to the application and wait for response from the application. The command should contain: - command name (e.g. display-session-table/set-log-level etc.) - optionally command may have several arguments (e.g. log-level=10) The question to choose syntax and to learn parse it fast and correctly. • Create a thumbnail of a dwg in in a linux envrionment

  Creating a ruby on rails site that uses RMagick to create thumbnails for many types of images. RMagick cannot read dwg files however. I've tried a few things, looked into the Java library JDWGLib, which would probably allow me to write a converter, but it would be a total from the ground up solution, where I just need a thumbnail. Also considered using a viewer program to open the file in a remote X session and do a screen capture, however I'm not sure how I could ever guarantee that the viewer had completed opening when I took the screenshot. I'm not concerned with being able to manipulate the file other than to create the thumbnail. It is going to be used for commercial purposes, so any libraries used need to be compatible.

  I use Postgresql with the PostGIS extensions for ad-hoc spatial analysis. I generally construct and issue SQL queries by hand from within psql. I always wrap an analysis session within a transaction, so if I issue a destructive query I can roll it back. However, when I issue a query that contains an error, it cancels the transaction. Any further queries elicit the following warning: ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of transaction block Is there a way I can turn this behaviour off? It is tiresome to rollback the transaction and rerun previous queries every time I make a typo.

  Hi, I'm using Apache common fileupload library with Netbeans 6.8 + Glassfish.I'm trying to change the current upload path to be in the current context path of the servlet , something like this: WEB-INF/upload so I wrote : File uploadedFile = new File("WEB-INF/upload/"+fileName); session.setAttribute("path",uploadedFile.getAbsolutePath()); item.write(uploadedFile); but I notice that the library save the uploaded files into glassfish folder , here what I get when I print the absolute path of the uploaded file : C:\Program Files\sges-v3\glassfish\domains\domain1\WEB-INF\upload\xx.rar My Question : How can I force the common fileupload to save the uploaded file in a path relative to the current servlet path , so I don't need to specify the whole path ? is this possible ?

  Hi guys, I have been charged with the task of analysing the log table of my company's website. This table contains a user's click path throughout the website for a given session. My company is looking to understand/spot trends based on the 'click paths' of our users. In doing so, identify groups of users that take on a certain 'click path' based on age/geography and so on. As you can tell from the title, I am completely new to BI and its capabilities so I was wondering: Are our objectives attainable? How should I go about doing this? I am currently reading books online as well as other e-books I have found. All signs seem to suggest this is possible via sequence clustering. Although the exact implementation and tweaks involved are currently lost on me. Therefore, if anyone has first hand experience in such an undertaking, I would be awesome if you could share it here.   I'm running into a problem where a Server 2003 SP2 box has started crashing roughly once an hour, BSODing out with the message that fltmgr.sys is probably the cause. I ran dumpchk.exe on the memory.dmp file, indicating the same thing. Any thoughts on typical root causes? • PHP variable passed to JasperServer for reports

  Is it possible to pass a variable from php to a report in JasperServer? For example, in my php application I keep the department_id stored in a session variable. I would like to pass the department_id over to my reports running on JasperServer and display the information appropriate for that department. in the iReport I have a query like: "SELECT * FROM employees WHERE department_id = $P{dept_id_from_php}", but I have to build a dropdown select list to pass the dept_id parameter. The end result is I would like the user logged into my PHP application to view the employee information that is related to the department the logged-in-user belongs to. I don't want to pass this over using the querystring because the user could just change the id in the querystring and have access to other departments information. Ideally I would like to only pass that parameter once, then reuse it in all the reports, like a global variable. Is this possible?

• PHP calling PostgreSQL function - type issue?

  I have a function in PostgreSQL / plpgsql with the following signature: CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION user_login(TEXT, TEXT) RETURNS SETOF _get_session AS $$ ... $$ Where _get_session is a view. The function works fine when calling it from phpPgAdmin, however whan I call it from PHP I get the following error: Warning: pg_query() [function.pg-query]: Query failed: ERROR: type "session_ids" does not exist CONTEXT: compile of PL/pgSQL function "user_login" near line 2 in /home/sites/blah.com/index.php on line 69 The DECLARE section of the function contains the following variables: oldSessionId session_ids := $1; newSessionId session_ids := $2; The domain session_ids DOES exist, and other functions which use the same domain work when called from the same script. The PHP is as follows: $query = "SELECT * FROM $dbschema.user_login('$session_old'::TEXT, '$session'::TEXT)"; $result = pg_query($login, $query); I have also tried this using ::session_ids in place of ::TEXT when calling the function, however I recieve the same error. Help :o(

• JSF Render response programatically

  I have one parent page with a parentManagedBean (attached to Session Scope). On click of a button on this parent page, one popup comes which has a childManagedBean (attached to Request scope). Now ChildManagedBedan holds a reference to parentManaged bean thru JSFs managed Property feature. On this popup window, user selects some option which populates a large value object class. I use the managed property of childMnaagedBean to set the values from this large object to that of parentmanagedbean. Problem is - The parent page shows a link, on click of which a popup comes, on selection of the popup, the popup disappears and set the values to the parentManaged bean.So far so good, but the newly set values need to appear on the parent page. This is where I am stuck. How to programatically render the master page/render page when I am at the child managed bean... is there a way I can get handle of the parent page and refresh it ?
