  • List replies in a winform

    In my C# app I get an xml from a server that contains some replies like in a forum thread (with elements like author, time, body, title, whatever). When I get this xml, I create a new form in which i want to display these replies, and a little text box with an "add reply" button. I'd also like some edit buttons on perhaps my own replies in the reply list displayed in the form. The simplest way that came to my mind to display the replies is to put a web browser control in the form, generate a full html page in a string from the xml, and throw it in that web browser control. And under it i can put the text box with the add reply button. Everything is ok, except that i have no idea of how i could implement the edit function on my own replies (i mean i could add a link in there... but link to what) I would like to know if there is a way to get that edit event from the web browser control (my guess is i can't) or another (maybe simple/easy) idea of displaying the replies in a winform using other controls

  • Connect Infopath form To Outlook - shows as xml

    In Sharepoint, i have a Forms Library. I would like to connect it to oulook. The problem is that once I do that, Outlook will display the forms in a .XML rendering...a bunch of text, not very user friendly. (I am using Sharepoint 2010, InfoPath 2010, Outlook 2010) Am I missing some kind of settings? How can I display the forms in Outlook in a rendered type of view. (I have tried this with Forms that open in Browser, as well as with Forms that open in Client application, with the same results for both.)

    I have 2 links and depending on which one they click on want to close all others and show only the information for that link. I know how to get records out of the DB and display them, but I now have to get results from two tables and display them. I got the tip that I could us the "after" function in that plugin to make changes to the picture each time the image is refreshed.   • why isn't my id showing up in django admin list?

    Hi all, I have a class Task(models.Model), and i didn't define id field explicitly (since it defines automatically for you). I checked in the database, it exists for the Task. Now i would like to display it in the list via list_display property in admin.ModelAdmin. I have a bunch of things in there, only id is not showing up for any of the rows i have. Everything else works fine. Anyone know anything special i have to do to get id to display? Thanks a lot! Jason

    Does anybody know how I can get multiple instances of the same grid to display on one frame? Whenever I create more than 1 instance of the same object, the display of the original grid widget completely collapses and I'm left unable to do anything with it.     Hi everybody, I have a site that features some pages which do not require any post-back functionality. They simply display static HTML and don't even have any associated code. However, since the Master Page has a <form runat="server"> tag which wraps all ContentPlaceHolders, the resulting HTML always contains the ViewState field, i.e: <input type="hidden" id="__VIEWSTATE" value="/wEPDwUKMjEwNDQyMTMxM2Rk0XhpfvawD3g+fsmZqmeRoPnb9kI=" /> I realize, that when decrypted, this string corresponds to the <form> tag which I cannot remove. However, I would still like to remove the ViewState field for pages that only display static HTML. Is it possible?

    Hi, I have used to loading a default image in my appication. So i have set to, Sleep(3); in my delegate.m method. But sometimes it will take more than 6 to 7 minutes. So i want to display the image 3 seconds only and then it goes to my appilcation based on my requirements. Which one is best way to do that? Sleep(3) or [NSThread sleepForTimeInterval:3.0] or something else; And i must display the image 3 seconds only. Please explain me. In Internet Explorer it's going through it and having no effect. I've put alerts at every line of the function and they all fire, even in IE, but the banner simply doesn't change. Is there any reason as to why this is so?

The problem is that when i place the function call in doing backgroung function of AsyncTask class , it gives an error in Doing Background and gives the message as cant change the UI in doing Background ..   • Use different updatetargetid based on view

    I have a web page which display a list of items in a HTML table. Above the list is a form which allows the user to add a new item to the list via AJAX (using Ajax.BeginForm). When the data is posted to the controller via AJAX I add the new item to the database backend and generate a new table row via a Partial View which then gets appended to the exisiting table. When the form to add new items however contains errors, I want to render the form back to the web browser and display that. So here is the question: Is it possible to specify the UpdateTargetId from within the controller? At the moment whatever View I return from the controller gets inserted in the same target, but I would like to update a different target (ie. different UpdateTargetId) based on whatever view was returned from the controller. Any help would be appreciated...

    I can't seem to find a way in the options to display the full path of the file at the title of the tab. I can hover over it to see it, but it would be nice to see it at a glance. There is a SU question about it also, http://superuser.com/questions/88637/netbeans-how-to-view-file-full-path-in-window-title-or-somewhere-else Does anyone have a solution for this to actually display it? I can see there is a custom .jar for it in the RC2 Netbeans, but that's probably way old now. PS, I should mention that a path relative to the project would be ideal, as well as a full path. Either really :)

  • How is the Trac Project List page customised?

    We've been using Trac for a while now for our developers only. However we are now opening it up for our (internal) clients. We have a project listing page (based on the default one that comes with Trac). What we'd like to do, is display more information about the project than what is currently available. I have searched google and here, to see if I can find how to get more information. There seems to be a variable called $project which has .name, .description and .href as attributes. Is there somewhere, a list of the attributes available? Or perhaps a different solution altogether that will allow us to display more information on the project list page. Such as the number of open tickets etc.

  • Issues with Firefox 3.6 & SWFObject 2.2

    I've searched the net for a solution but still haven't found one yet. I'm on Mac OSX and I use FlashBuilder. I try to publish a movie with the values of 100% for the width & the height. These are the values I use both in SWFObject and the CSS. Flash doesn't display in Firefox but displays on Opera, Chrome & Safari. SWFObject test suite displays fine though! I've tried to replicate the test suite settings but it doesn't work :( The only way I can get the movie to display in Firefox is by setting the height value to a fixed pixel size in the flash content div, which defeats the purpose of using percentage values in the first place :) I've tried most recommendations such as putting the script in the head tag as well as a few others but nothing works except setting a fixed height size in the CSS. Help would be most appreciated! ;)
