• Live clock javascript starts from my custom time

  I was trying to create a live/dynamic clock is based on my custom time instead of system time. There are many scripts, but I couldn't find the clock starts from my custom time. Here is an example that I'm trying to modify. The problem is the seconds doesn't change, and it looks like I need to use ajax. Is there any way to do it without ajax? If not, help me to do it using ajax!!! I've found solutions close to what I need, but I don't understand jQuery or javascript enough to customize them for my needs.   Hi guys, i'm trying to do a poll but i designed it without any radio box in it. So i decided to make the selection being highlighted with a different background color, all is done with jquery. I set the display of the radio box to none so that it wouldn't show, gave each a unique ID. • How can I filter using the current value of a text box in a jQuery selector?

  I have a validation script that checks for data-* attributes to determine which fields are required. If an element has the 'data-required-if' attribute (which has a jQuery selector as it's value), it checks to see if any elements are found that match that selector. If any are found, the field is required. It does something similar to the following: $('[data-required-if]').each(function () { var selector = $(this).attr('data-required-if'), required = false; if ( !$(selector).length ) { required = true; // do something if this element is empty } }); This works great, but there's a problem. When you use the attribute selector to filter based on the current value of a text field, it really filters on the initial value of the text field. <input type='text' id='myinput' value='initial text' /> <input type='text' id='dependent_input' value='' data-required-if="#myinput[value='']" /> // Step 1: type "foobar" in #myinput // Step 2: run these lines of code: <script> $('#myinput').val() //=> returns "foobar" $('#myinput[value="foobar"]').length //=> returns 0 </script> I understand why it's doing that. jQuery probably uses getAttribute() in the background. Is there any other way to filter based on the current value of an input box using purely jQuery selectors?

• Virtualmin - Domain / Subdomain confusion

  Hi, I've just purchased a new VPS and setup Virtualmin on it. I pointed my domain at the IP of the server and set up a new virtual server through Virtualmin. I uploaded a simple php script to check it was working and it seemed to be fine. I then created a subserver and also pointed test.mydomain.com to my IP, with the intension of having mydomain.com and test.mydomain.com both pointing to different directories on my VPS. However, once I added the subserver, I received a 403 Forbidden message if I tried to access either the new subdomain OR the existing site. I uploaded a similar php script to the subfolder and it then displayed correctly. However, I now get sent to the same script regardless of what URL I type in. I did try posting this message on the Virtualmin forum, but their filters picked it up as spam and wouldn't allow it. Can anyone help me? I'm sure it's just something simple, but this is driving me crazy! Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

• Google Anlytics event not firing

  I am not getting and event data in GA. I installed Google Analytics Debugger Chrome extension and I see nothing happening (same goes when looking at Network panel in developer tools). I Googled it and read many (many) other answers and it looks like I'm doing things right. Page views, etc. are registering correctly... • Why does cloning the django inline formsets result to forms with similar ids and names?

  In my project I use django inline formsets. I got the jquery to clone the formsets but unfortunately the cloned forms have the same names and ids and so data entered in the last one overwrites the data from the first form. What could I be doing wrong? • Error Expected Loop VBScript

  I have a script that opens up an excel file if the password provided is correct. If its wrong, it prompts a message. It works perfectly when I add a loop at the end. However, the problem is whenever the password is wrong the script won't stop asking for the password because of the loop. What I want is the script to quit/close if the password is wrong. I tried to remove the loop and replaced it with "wscript.quit" but it always prompts the message "expected loop".
