  • Regex to allow all php files except one

    - by Tim
Hi all, I have this regex that allow all php files : ^.*\.([Pp][Hh][Pp]) how can I exclude a specific file, for example test.php ? Thanks for your answer, Best regards [edit] I omit to say that it is a reg from a htaccess file, the /i doesn't seems to work, and the ? neither. [Edit2] the purpose is to grant access to authenticated users, except for one file that has to be allowed for everyone. So I've done : <Files ~ "^.*\.([Pp][Hh][Pp])$"> AuthUserFile /directory/.htpasswd AuthGroupFile /dev/null AuthName "Please log in ..." AuthType Basic require valid-user </Files> So, all php files require valid user. I would like to add an exception for a specific file, says test.php

  • Xalan redirect:write , use either of two element values to create name of new .xml file depending on

    - by Bilzac
So I have the following code: <redirect:write select="concat('..\\folder\\,string(filename),'.xml')"> Where "filename" is a tag in the xml source. My problem occurs when filename is null or blank. And this is the case for several of the xml filename tags. So what I am trying to implement is a checking method. This is what I have done: <xsl-if test = "filename != ''"> <xsl:variable name = "tempName" select = "filename" /> </xsl-if> <xsl-if test ="filename = ''"> <xsl:variable name = "tempName" select = "filenameB"/> </xsl-if> <redirect:write select="concat('..\\folder\\,string($tempName),'.xml')"> I seem to be getting NPEs when I compile my Java code, saying the Variable not resolvable: tempName

  • Does Google Analytics have peformance overhead?

    - by Mohit Nanda
To what extent does Google Analytics impact performance? I'm looking for the following: Benchmarks (including response times/pageload times et al) Links or results to similar benchmarks One (possible) method of testing Google Analytics (GA) on your site: Serve ga.js (the Google Analytics JavaScript file) from your own server. Update from Google Daily (test 1) and Weekly (test 2). I would be interested to see how this reduces the communication between the client webserver and the GA server. Has anyone conducted any of these tests? If so, can you provide your results? If not, does anyone have a better method for testing the performance hit (or lack thereof) for using GA?

  • Double-click instead of single-click in Ubuntu 12.04

    - by evfwcqcg
When I do a single click, my computer (with Ubuntu 12.04) acts like it was double click. I think it happens in ~50% of cases. It happens with all the program I use: browsers, file manager, terminal and so on. I'm not sure when exactly it started, maybe a week ago, and I don't remember if it started to happen after system-update or after the installation of some packages. What I tried: change mouse change mouse settings like Double-Click Timeout None of those helped me. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Is there a recommended command for "hg bisect --command"?

    - by blokeley
I have an emergent bug that I've got to track down tomorrow. I know a previous hg revision which was good so I'm thinking about using hg bisect. However, I'm on Windows and don't want to get into DOS scripting. Ideally, I'd be able to write a Python unit test and have hg bisect use that. This is my first attempt. bisector.py #!/usr/bin/env python import sys import unittest class TestCase(unittest.TestCase): def test(self): #raise Exception('Exception for testing.') #self.fail("Failure for testing.") pass def main(): suite = unittest.defaultTestLoader.loadTestsFromTestCase(TestCase) result = unittest.TestResult() suite.run(result) if result.errors: # Skip the revision return 125 if result.wasSuccessful(): return 0 else: return 1 if '__main__' == __name__: sys.exit(main()) Perhaps I could then run: hg bisect --reset hg bisect --bad hg bisect --good -r 1 hg bisect --command=bisector.py Is there a better way of doing it? Thanks for any advice.

  • Manipulating binary data in Python

    - by Dominic Bou-Samra
I am opening up a binary file like so: file = open("test/test.x", 'rb') and reading in lines to a list. Each line looks a little like: '\xbe\x00\xc8d\xf8d\x08\xe4.\x07~\x03\x9e\x07\xbe\x03\xde\x07\xfe\n' I am having a hard time manipulating this data. If I try and print each line, python freezes, and emits beeping noises (I think there's a binary beep code in there somewhere). How do I go about using this data safely? How can I convert each hex number to decimal?

  • Gradual memory leak in loop over contents of QTMovie

    - by Benji XVI
I have a simple foundation tool that exports every frame of a movie as a .tiff file. Here is the relevant code: NSString* movieLoc = [NSString stringWithCString:argv[1]]; QTMovie *sourceMovie = [QTMovie movieWithFile:movieLoc error:nil]; int i=0; while (QTTimeCompare([sourceMovie currentTime], [sourceMovie duration]) != NSOrderedSame) { // save image of movie to disk NSAutoreleasePool *arp = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; NSString *filePath = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"/somelocation_%d.tiff", i++]; NSData *currentImageData = [[sourceMovie currentFrameImage] TIFFRepresentation]; [currentImageData writeToFile:filePath atomically:NO]; NSLog(@"%@", filePath); [sourceMovie stepForward]; [arp release]; } [pool drain]; return 0; As you can see, in order to prevent very large memory buildups with the various transparently-autoreleased variables in the loop, we create, and flush, an autoreleasepool with every run through the loop. However, over the course of stepping through a movie, the amount of memory used by the program still gradually increases. Instruments is not detecting any memory leaks per se, but the object trace shows certain General Data blocks to be increasing in size. [Edited out reference to slowdown as it doesn't seem to be as much of a problem as I thought.] Edit: let's knock out some parts of the code inside the loop & see what we find out... Test 1 while (banana) { NSAutoreleasePool *arp = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; NSString *filePath = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"/somelocation_%d.tiff", i++]; NSLog(@"%@", filePath); [sourceMovie stepForward]; [arp release]; } Here we simply loop over the whole movie, creating the filename and logging it. Memory characteristics: remains at 15MB usage for the duration. Test 2 while (banana) { NSAutoreleasePool *arp = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; NSImage *image = [sourceMovie currentFrameImage]; [sourceMovie stepForward]; [arp release]; } Here we add back in the creation of the NSImage from the current frame. Memory characteristics: gradually increasing memory usage. RSIZE is at 60MB by frame 200; 75MB by f300. Test 3 while (banana) { NSAutoreleasePool *arp = [[NSAutoreleasePool alloc] init]; NSImage *image = [sourceMovie currentFrameImage]; NSData *imageData = [image TIFFRepresentation]; [sourceMovie stepForward]; [arp release]; } We've added back in the creation of an NSData object from the NSImage. Memory characteristics: Memory usage is again increasing: 62MB at f200; 75MB at f300. In other words, largely identical. It looks like a memory leak in the underlying system QTMovie uses to do currentFrameImage, to me.

  • JQuery selfbuild plugin question - default value is overwritten.

    - by Bruno
Hi jQuery ninjas. I need your help. I have made a really clean and simple example to illustrate my problem. I have build my own jquery plugin: (function($) { $.fn.setColorTest = function(options) { options = $.extend($.fn.setColorTest.defaults,options); return this.each(function() { $(this).css({ 'color': options.color}); }); } $.fn.setColorTest.defaults = { color: '#000' }; })(jQuery); As you can see I'm setting a default color and making it possible for the user to change it. My problem/question is: I have two paragraphs on the same page where I want to use the default color for the first and a different color for the second paragraph: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/> <title>Color Test</title> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { $('a#click').click(function() { $('#test1').setColorTest(); }); $('a#click2').click(function() { $('#test2').setColorTest({color: '#fff666'}); }); }); </script> </head> <body> <a id="click">click here</a> <a id="click2">click here2</a> <p id="test1">Test 1</p> <p id="test2">Test 2</p> </body> </html> My problem is that if I click on the second paragraph (p) that overrides the default color and afterwards clicks on the first p it will use the overwritten color and not the default color for the first p. How can I ensure that the first p always will use the default color? I know I can just define the color for the first p as well but that is not an option here $('#test1').setColorTest('color': '#000'); So what to do?

  • Differentiate generic methods by type parameters only using reflection?

    - by Brian Vallelunga
I'm trying to use reflection to get a specific MethodInfo of a class, but am unsure how to differentiate between the two following methods: public class Test { public IBar<T1> Foo<T1>(); public IBar<T1, T2> Foo<T1, T2>(); } How can I get a reference to the different Foo methods, assuming I know the number of type parameters? Just calling typeof(Test).GetMethod("Foo") will throw an exception that the method name is ambiguous and there aren't a differing number of parameters to check.

  • Open Source: Is Testing/Bug Reporting A Major Contribution?

    - by dsimcha
When evaluating contributions to open source projects, does testing the code on various real-world inputs, reducing a large number of complicated bugs to small test cases and filing good bug reports count as a significant contribution? I've done this for several open-source projects (specifically D compilers) where I wanted to help out but the codebase was too complicated to learn my way around in the amount of spare time I have. I'm interested in both the perspective of the main developers (those that write the code and fix the bugs) and from the perspective of employers (in case I want to put it on my resume at some point).

  • How to get Firefox to not continue to show "Transferring data from..." in browser status bar after a

    - by Edward Tanguay
The following silverlight demo loads and displays a text file from a server. However, in Firefox (but not Explorer or Chrome) after you click the button and the text displays, the status bar continues to show "Transferring data from test.development..." which erroneously gives the user the belief that something is still loading. I've noticed that if you click on another Firefox tab and then back on the original one, the message goes away, so it seems to be just a Firefox bug that doesn't clear the status bar automatically. Is there a way to clear the status bar automatically in Firefox? or a way to explicitly tell it that the async loading is finished so it can clear the status bar itself? I have the following in code to convert from UTF-8 to ISO-8859-1 in a jar file and when I execute this jar in Windows I get one result and in CentOS I get another. • Connect Digest : 2011-06-27

    - by AaronBertrand
Sorry I have fallen off the Connect Digest wagon for the past few weeks; been a little swamped since returning from SQLCruise Alaska. Not sure I'll be able to assemble a digest every week, but I'll certainly try to keep a steady pace. This week I wanted to highlight a few suggestions around indexed views. With the coming of SQL Server code-named "Denali" we will be pushed toward the new columnstore index as an alternative to indexed views. But this won't be for all cases, and it likely won't be available...(read more)

  • How ad retargeting works?

    - by Bojan Babic
Recently, I read that Facebook ads are moving towards retargeting and got interested deeper into subject. Essentially, retargeting is technique advertisers use that tracks purchase intent by putting cookies into your browser and when you visit another website within ad network you will see ad for item you "wanted to buy". In order this to for, both publisher and advertiser need to work together. Publisher needs add couple of lines of javascript and publisher need to be able to read this info across sites. In most cases, javascript inserts iframe from adnetwork domain. Iframe script sets cookies for both host domain and remote adnetwork domain. However, Same Origin policy do not let iframes read/set content from parent domain. Is there something I'm missing here? Can someone explain how this technique actually works?

  • Detect IE setting: check for newer versions of stored pages "never"

    - by xx
I understand there isn't a way to interrogate a users IE settings directly due to security reasons, but is there a way to derive this answer with some other mechanism? I would like to stop a user from using my site if the setting "Check for newer versions of stored pages" is set to "Never". Any suggestions? Is there a way I could test for this using javascript? An example of what I am trying to accomplish is this: While it is not possible to check IE settings to see if you are running a popup blocker, that is a way to "test" for a popup blocker via javascript. I am looking for something similiar but for the cache setting, not the popup blocker.

  • Unit Testing Model Classes that derive from NSManagedObject

    - by Matt Baker
So...I'm trying to get unit tests set up in my iPhone App but I'm having some issues. I'm trying to test my model classes but they inherit directly from NSManagedObject. I'm sure this is a problem but I don't know how to get around it. Everything is building and running as expected but I get this error when calling any method on the class I'm testing: Unknown.m:0:0 unrecognized selector sent to instance 0xc2b120 If I follow this structure (http://chanson.livejournal.com/115621.html) to create my object in my tests I end up with another error entirely but it still doesn't help me. Basically my question is this: how can I test a class that inherits from NSManagedObject?

  • Getting access to a binary response byte-by-byte in classic asp/JScript

    - by user89691
I asked this question a few days ago but it seems to have gone cold fairly quickly. What I want to do is pretty simple and I can't believe someone hasn't figured it out. Solution needs to be JScript classic ASP. I am reading a file from a remote server and I want to process that (binary) file on my server and spit the results back to the client as XML. Here's a simplified version of what I am trying to do. This code runs, or will if the URL is filled in for your site. This test file is readbin.asp. It reads a file called test.bin, and writes the result to a stream. I used a stream because that makes it easier to read the file and parse the contents. Basically I want to: while not end of stream read byte from stream process byte here is readbin.asp: <%@ LANGUAGE = JScript %> <% var url = "http:// (... your URL to the file test.bin goes here...) " ; var xmlhttp = Server.CreateObject ("MSXML2.ServerXMLHTTP") ; xmlhttp.open ("GET", url, false) ; xmlhttp.send () ; var BinaryInputStream = Server.CreateObject ("ADODB.Stream") ; BinaryInputStream.Type = 1 ; // binary BinaryInputStream.Open ; BinaryInputStream.Write (xmlhttp.responseBody) ; BinaryInputStream.Position = 0 ; Response.Write ("BinaryInputStream.size = " + BinaryInputStream.size + "<br>") ; Response.Write ("BinaryInputStream = " + BinaryInputStream + "<br>") ; var ByteValue = BinaryInputStream.read (1) ; Response.Write ("ByteValue = " + ByteValue + "<br>") ; Response.Write ("typeof (ByteValue) = " + typeof (ByteValue) + "<br>") ; %> My problem is: how do I get ByteValue as a number 0..255? typeof (ByteValue) is "unknown". Ord?? Byte()?? Asc?? Chr??

  • C++ Linked List - Reading data from a file with a sentinel

So I've done quite a bit of research on this and can't get my output to work correctly. I need to read in data from a file and have it stored into a Linked List. The while loop used should stop once it hits the $$$$$ sentinel. • Permission error while trying to access Sql from a web method

    - by Pavan Reddy
I created a web service which has a few web methods which inturn performs inserts/updates/select from a Sql Server and return non-primitive types. To test the web methods I tried using the Open source tool .net web service studio When I test for the web methods, I get the following error - Request for the permission of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlClientPermission, System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed. I searched for solutions and I tried a lot of approaches like setting up the permission levels, the trust level in config file etc. But the error still persists. Can anyone tell me what could be the reason for this error? I have tried toggling the permissions at all levels - Sql Server, web service etc. How can I fix this error?

Please find the below file of persistence.xml. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <persistence xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence/persistence_1_0.xsd" version="1.0"> <persistence-unit name="TestPU"> <provider>org.hibernate.ejb.HibernatePersistence</provider> <jta-data-source>java:/TestDS</jta-data-source> <properties> <property name="hibernate.dialect" value="org.hibernate.dialect.Oracle10gDialect"/> <property name="hibernate.show_sql" value="true"/> </properties> </persistence-unit> </persistence> My spring-beans.xml is as below <bean id="MyAdvise" class=".......Aspect"> <property name="persister"> <bean id="dbPersister" class="..............DataBasePersister"> </bean> </property> </bean> <bean id="localContainerEntityManagerFactory" class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.LocalContainerEntityManagerFactoryBean"> <property name="jpaVendorAdapter"> <bean class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.vendor.HibernateJpaVendorAdapter"> <property name="showSql" value="true"/> <property name="database" value="ORACLE"/> </bean> </property> <property name="jpaProperties"> <props> <prop key="hibernate.transaction.manager_lookup_class">org.hibernate.transaction.JBossTransactionManagerLookup</prop> </props> </property> </bean> <bean id="myTxManager" class="org.springframework.orm.jpa.JpaTransactionManager"> <property name="entityManagerFactory" ref="localContainerEntityManagerFactory"/> </bean> <tx:annotation-driven transaction-manager="myTxManager" /> My persister bean is as follows. public class DataBasePersister implements IPersister { private static Logger log = Logger.getLogger(DataBasePersister.class); // The Entity Manager @PersistenceContext protected EntityManager entityManager; @Transactional(readOnly = false) public void persist(Object data) { log.info("IN persist() call.   • What are the implications of having an "implicit declaration of function" warning in C?

    - by SiegeX
As the question states, what exactly are the implications of having the 'implicit declaration of function' warning? We just cranked up the warning flags on gcc and found quite a few instances of these warnings and I'm curious what type of problems this may have caused prior to fixing them? Also, why is this a warning and not an error. How is gcc even able to successfully link this executable? As you can see in the example below, the executable functions as expected. Take the following two files for example: file1.c #include <stdio.h> int main(void) { funcA(); return 0; } file2.c #include <stdio.h> void funcA(void) { puts("hello world"); } Compile & Output $ gcc -Wall -Wextra -c file1.c file2.c file1.c: In function 'main': file1.c:3: warning: implicit declaration of function 'funcA' $ gcc -Wall -Wextra file1.o file2.o -o test.exe $ ./test.exe hello world
