  • Possible to view PHP code of a website?

    Is it possible to somehow view another websites php files/codes? Or to rephrase the question, Can my php codes be viewed by anybody except for those who have access to the file? If so, how cant I best prevent this? Thanks Ps: Server OS is Ubuntu 9.10 and PHP version is 5+ (Apache2)

  • save jQuerry changes to css file on server

    I'm developing a system that allows for changing some of the css parameters without accessing the code. To achieve that I have jQuerry objects like sliders and draggers which influence how the site looks user side, eg. $("#MainContent").css("width", "55%");. Now I need a way to append those changes to a .css file on the server. Let me clarify that this is sort of a CMS system, and only administrator of the system would have this option, not the visitors of user-end site. I realise that .css is one for all users. Ideal solution would connect to the server every time user makes a change, and replace only one line of css code. But I have no idea how to do it efficiently or if it at all possible.

  • How do i make the text in this div expand vertically and not horizontally?

    Here is something that has bogged me down for quite sometime. I have created two fiddles so you can test live: Fiddle #1: http://www.jsfiddle.net/Jdk9R/2/ Fiddle #2: http://www.jsfiddle.net/d5PEu/ Looking at the Fiddle #1 you can make out that if the text is not formatted properly with spaces, the text overflows the border. How do i make this function similar to fiddle #2? Or is this unavoidable?

  • Text overlap div

    Hello, I have a comment box, if they enter long one word, "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" the box will break(text out of div), i have used overflow:hidden but my friend want it to break like normal text. Any idea how to fix ?

The first example above, lead me to some pretty funky formatting issues, and it seems like in example 1 <label> should be used in place of <th>.

Even though I have set their widths to be 100%, the select box is a few pixels smaller than the input.     Can someone help me with creation of a url preview script in javascript? What I mean is this. Say I have a link on my site, I want the user to be able to mouse over the link, and have an image pop up that shows what the target of the link looks like. Don't worry about the css, I got that working, I just need the actual script to show the image. Currently I am doing it by showing up an iframe that actually renders the page, but this is not scalable and looks ugly. No, having the page display premade images is not an option, since the links will be linking to dynamically generated user content. thanks

  • Chrome not displaying a div

It's part of a foreach loop, if needed I can add other codes. There is nothing else in the rest of the css to mess with this, I have checked about 10 times.
