    Hi, I have a telerik grid which is performing operations like searching,sorting,filtering etc. To make customers happy, we put this control in an ajax panel for seamless experience. Now, we added a new functionality to the grid where the customer can download the entire row information as a csv file. As the response is a file, ajax panel is trying to parse the output and throwing the following exception: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '?'. Could you please help me in having both functionalities( Ajax and Download) in place without any error?? Thanks, Mahesh

You were able to create interactive boxes which relates to html elements and you were able to change to color of these boxes to red. My plan was to take the .val() from the text box and supply that to the .html() of the <div> element. Perhaps there's a good jQuery plugin to help with this (if it's not built-in) or a better way overall to accomplish this goal.

I need the menu to be optimized for IE6, because when I use the menu as it is, the menu hangs after I click on a menu item that loads a page with heavy processing.   • weird data-grid-view/crystal-reports behaviour c# winforms

    I have a winforms project which I keep in different versions, each version having its own project folder. All these projects use the same database file, which is copied in each project folder too. So if I run a project, let's say 0.34, and then I try to run 0.35, all the database functions don't work, unless I detach the database in SQL server management studio express. So all the database functions don't work, except the data grid view and/or crystal reports. But then, if I detach the database, and I run any version, all the database functions work, except the data grid view and/or crystal reports. So to recap, when the database functions work (like select), crystal reports doesn't work. But when the database functions don't work because the database is not detached, crystal reports works. weird. any ideas?

    Hi, I am using Datagrid in WPF. This is a very simple and basic implementation. I not using any styles. I created a simple datagrid : <dg:DataGrid x:Name="dg" > </dg:DataGrid> and populated it with data as: dg.ItemsSource = " H E L L O W O R L D!".Split(); Grid gets properly populated but the columnheader of the grid is drawn with some offset. Due to this my data and header are mis aligned. I tried searching for this over net but I haven't found anything. This seems to be a straightforward implementation which is working for everyone except me :(. Can anyone please tell me what might be going wrong? I have tried using different data sets and appyling some style to test this. Thanks in advance.

  • jquery two ajax call asynchrounsly in asp.net not working...

    Hi all, I am developed an web application in asp.net. In this application I have used jquery ajax for some pages. In this application, when I make two ajax call asynchrounoulsy that would not do as I expceted. what is happening is even the second ajax call finishes i can see the result when the maximum time out ajax call finished. I mean i can see the both results in the same time, not one by one. for an example. I have 3 pages 1) main.aspx - for make two ajax request. 2) totalCount.aspx - to find the total count. (max it takes 7 seconds to return, as corresponding table contains 3 lak records) 3) rowCount.aspx - to find the row details.   • Alert on moving to a different page of a grid when user changes contents of textboxes in a Grid

    In a ASP.NET application I have a paging RadGrid which shows up textbox in each row. Outside the grid, there is an OK button to save the content of all the textbox. If user changes text in any one or more of the textbox and without clicking on the "OK" button, tries to move to a different page number (of the grid by clicking on the page number), he should be prompted for confirmation of save or cancel the changes. I am guessing that one can write a Javascript function which would look for any form input control (textbox in my case) and detect changes and If there are changes, would prompt the user. However, I am not sure where I can call this function from? Any suggestion on this or a better way to achieve this would be appreciated. I am using RadGrid but I guess this should be applicable to GridView as well.

I've looked at many - the WPF one, XCeed, Ingragistics, DevExpress, etc.... but none of them seem to offer the simple requirement I have: I want to be able to display group subtotals in their columns in the group row, e.g. GROUP 1 xxxx.xx GROUP 2 xxxx.xx ROW 1 xx.xx ROW 2 xx.xx Does anyone know of a grid that does this, or a nice supporting collection that implements aggregate functions (group totals would need to be used in individual line items) so that existing grids with a bit of XAML styling would work?
