In my website I created a class e.g. Class1.cs in App_Code folder when I am trying to load default page which is using this Class file I am getting the following error
CS0103: The name 'Class1' does not exist in the current context for the code
String something = Class1.item1(text1.Text, text2.Text);
and Class1.cs consists of
protected static string item1(string a, string b)
{
//some action here
return null;
}
Everything works fine in my VS2010 but when I host the website in my server I am getting this issue.
Hi all,
I'm creating a myDb.plist file in my resources folder and trying to read it, but it's not getting read. I'm using the following code.
NSString* plistPath = [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:@"myDb" ofType:@"plist"];
contentArray = [NSArray arrayWithContentsOfFile:plistPath];
contentArray is showing null.
Can anybody please help me?
Thanx in advance.
Hi,
I am trying to call an Activity from another instance of the activity. The code is supposed to be a simple file browser (part of a larger application). I am using a ListActivity, and when an item (such as a folder) is selected, it is supposed to open it up in the new Activity. I have a feeling it is a problem with the AndroidManifest (which just has the basic tag). Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
I have added an IP address in IIS7 in the IP address and domain restrictions. From what I have read this should block all traffic to the folder apart from the allowed IP address. For some reason this does not work. If I access the section from my work computer all ok, when I access it from my phone I can still see the page.
Does anyone have any idea why IIS is not blocking all the other IPs out?
Thanks
By "group" I mean the collapsible classifications that you get when you enable View-Arrange By-Show in Groups. This divides e.g. messages in a folder into Today, Yesterday, Last Week, Two Weeks Ago, and so on. What I'd like to be able to do is iterate over the messages that are currently classified within a given group. Is this possible?
I'm attempted to add an open source project to my iphone project and added the source files and the libraries to my project folder and referenced them inside of my project. However, when I try to build the project the linked static libraries are giving me a "file is not of required architecture" warning. Any ideas?
When setting up a source control repository for a Flex Builder workspace, what do you consider to be worth checking in? Do you exclude the workspace .metadata folder but keep the .project and other project specific files? Keep both? Throw away both? Is there a guideline you use to decide which is worth holding onto or do you do it out of practical experience?
Is there any client tool available which allow me to browse through files which are on http folder (I know there is a filezila but that only shows FTP files)?

Hi
I wrote a VBS file to open the "6 May" folder with following content
path = "F:\Test\2010\May\6 May"
Set Sh = CreateObject("WSCript.Shell")
Sh.Run ""path"",3,True
Set Sh = Nothing
However on executing this I am getting following error
Windows Script Host
Script: F:\Sperry\2010\May_06 May\open.vbs
Line: 4
Char: 10
Error: Expected end of statement
Code: 800A0401
Source: Microsoft VBScript compilation error
OK
Can anyone help me in this?
Hello, I needed to find the number of files in a folder on the system.
This is what i used:
file_count = sum((len(f) for _, _, f in os.walk('path')))
This works fine when we specify the path as a string in quotes, but when I enter a variable name that holds the path, type(file_count) is a generator object, and hence cannot be used as an integer.
How to solve this and why does this happen?
We have a .NET app that needs to examine a folder that may contain COM libraries (DLL and OCX.) When we do encounter a COM library one thing we need to accomplish is to extract the GUID from the COM DLL or OCX.
Is there a straightforward way to do this with .NET without using 3rd party libraries?
In TFS Source Control Explorer, in some projects the "New Folder" and "Add Files" icons are visibles, and for other projects they are not. I'm a contributor in both, and I can check in solutions in both, and not an admin for either.
What could possibly be making the icons go "dim". Is it security? Or some other combination of rules?

We have common library projects shared amongst many projects that are required to be checked out into a "Libraries" folder which a developer needs to checkout prior to opening the main project in visual studio.
How I tell hudson that there is this dependency?
I figured one thing I could do is setup a custom workspace and specify the location for all projects, but how do I wire up the dependency between them all? Is simply specifying "Build after other projects are built" enough?

I have multiple websites set up in the same folder, and I want to create a batch file that will delete the cache in each of them without having to add a new line for each site. For example I am using this:
del /S /Q D:\www\site-name\cache\*
Which works, but I have to add a new line for every site in D:\www. The del command doesn't support:
del /S /Q D:\www\*\cache\*
So what is a better way to do this?

I have in the same folder a .bat and a .exe file.
I couldn't call the .exe file from the .bat unless I put the full absolute path to it.
Is there a way to don't specify the path?
Example current URL http://www.domain.com/subdomain/install/finish.php
I use this code to get the current URL.
$url = (!empty($_SERVER['HTTPS'])) ? "https://".$_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'].$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] : "http://".$_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'].$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
Now I want to get the URL looks like http://www.domain.com/subdomain if there don't have sub-folder it will read like http://www.domain.com
Let me know.
