  • Why enabling transparency can lead to cliping problems ?

    Hi, I'm working on a 3D graphical application in Java using the Java 3D API. I noticed that every time I was dealing with transparency, all I got in return were some clipping problems. Some parts of the scene weren't displayed properly. It might seem obvious that this would happen in a certain way but I'm looking for a logical explanation, why is this happening? Thank you

  • Paypal Mass pay fails when large transactions are made

    I am using the paypal mass pay feature but i am unable to make payments greater than $20. When I attempt to make large transactions (say for $120) i get the error that says the account has insufficient funds. My account has more than the requisite amount to make the payment. I am trying to find a solution as there is no documentation that says anything about an a limit for each payment in the mass pay api. I would appreciate any help on this.

  • How to show the animation without exposing the code?

    There's an animation done in jQuery within jsfiddle. I do not have a website as of now to "implant" it and share the URL. I also can't give the jsfiddle. So how can I share my animation to the audience without showing the code? Does github or any other facility tools allow locking the code and showing the final product without having a website, yet I could get a URL for the audience to view it? I regret for the rookie-question in this context as I am still new to web stuff. EDIT: jsFiddle shows 3 code windows along the results :html, css, js. My requirement is to only show the results window to the audience and by all means to hide codes and leads via URL to the codes. Ideal solution demands a results to be shown and URL that is encrypted (at best).

    I have Silverlight 3.0 applications with some custom graphic and some charts. I need to find a best way to transfer this graphic to PowerPoint presentation. I`we read that Silverlight 4.0 offers new Clipboard API, but there is only support for Unicode-text, not images. Is there a way to achieve this task without forcing user to manually print screen and than paste to other applicatons.

  • Is it possible to set different select2 parameters at different times?

    From playing around I can see that this code $("#Selected3").select2({ minimumInputLength: 3 }); $("#Selected3").select2({ placeholder: "Show a placeholder" }); will show me the placeholder but remove the minimumInputLength parameters value. Does anyone know a way please that this example could be modified so that the placeholder will be added without losing the minimum..Length value. Any answers will need to allow for the possibility of the statements being in separate files, i.e. one on the page and another in a referenced .js file. I am aware that this would be much easier if I set all the parameters at once, e.g. $("#Selected3").select2({ minimumInputLength: 3, placeholder: "Show a placeholder" }); but I am working within a framework which won't currently allow that. Printing to file would be a last resort, I would prefer a small-footprint command line tool or API that will do the job.     I'm tossing around a few ideas for travel search engines and I'm wondering how these sites get their source data. Do they scrape all the content from airline homepages? This seems like an enormous job given the number of airlines etc out there. Is there some API or web service standard that every airline conforms too? Am I going to have to negotiate access to the data APIs for every airline I wish to index?

I know that I can inspect the coordinates of the touch object, what I don't know is how to cancel the sequence. I don't see any event in the API that allows for that.

    Hello, I need to find a very compact, cross-platform web server that can run Lua scripts, ie. either a regular web server like Mongoose that will forward queries to a Lua program in eg. FastCGI, or a web server itself written in Lua which will save the need to provide a separate web server.
