    Hello gcc Version: 4:4.4.4-1ubuntu2 GNU Make 3.81 I have the following library called net_api.a and some header files i.e. network_set.h I have include the header file in my source code in my main.c file #include <network_set.h> I have the following static library and header in the following directory ./tools/net/lib/net_api.a ./tools/net/inc/network_set.h In my Makefile I have tried to link using the following, code snippet: INC_PATH = -I tools/net/inc LIB_PATH = -L tools/net/lib LIBS = -lnet_api $(TARGET): $(OBJECT_FILES) $(CC) $(LDFLAGS) $(CFLAGS) $(INC_PATH) $(LIB_PATH) $(LIBS) $(OBJECT_FILES) -o $(TARGET) main.o: main.c $(CC) $(CFLAGS) $(INC_PATH) $(LIB_PATH) -c main.c However, when I compile I get the following errors: network_set.h error: expected ‘=’, ‘,’, ‘;’, ‘asm’ or ‘__attribute__’ before ‘network_String’ Many thanks for any suggestions,

  • Support-function in the GJK-algorithm.

    I am trying to implement the GJK-algorithm but I got stuck instantly. The problem is to implement the Support-function that isn't O(n^2). As it is now I'm computing the complete Minkowski difference, and then there is really no point in doing the GJK-algorithm. (or is it?) What I mean by Support-function is the function that returns the point in the Minkowski difference that is furthest away in a specified direction. I assume this shouldn't be O(n^2) as it is in my current implementation.

  • Shared static classes between AppDomains in loaded library code

    I'm working on a program in which I want to do something similar to what the Photon Server system does: Offer a common "API" class library, which contains common data classes, enumerations, and interfaces for working with the host program. Have client programs (class libraries) reference this DLL and implement interfaces listed within it. Have the "host" application load built DLL client libraries into separate AppDomains and reference the interfaces that lie within to have polymorphic client code from within a dll file. I have something like this worked out: a class library that contains common code, but I've run into the following question How should I handle static classes? Should I add a method that is called by the host program to synchronize data? How do I keep a static class the same between AppDomains? Should I discard these classes in favor of better interfaces between the code levels? And in general, how do I share data between these loaded AppDomains?

  • Python, implementing proxy support for a socket based application (not urllib2)

    Hey guys, I am little stumped: I have a simple messenger client program (pure python, sockets), and I wanted to add proxy support (http/s, socks), however I am a little confused on how to go about it. I am assuming that the connection on the socket level will be done to the proxy server, at which point the headers should contain a CONNECT + destination IP (of the chat server) and authentication, (if proxy requires so), however the rest is a little beyond me. How is the subsequent connection handled, specifically the reading/writing, etc... Are there any guides on proxy support implementation for socket based (tcp) programming in Python? Thank you

    Hello everybody, I am on a project where I have multiple users of a portal and they are connected to other users of the portal, now we are asked to draw a "Social Network" relationship graph to see the relationships.     I booted up eclipse to start on a project, and without typing in a word I already have several errors. package department.namespace; import android.app.Activity; import android.os.Bundle; public class DepartmentActivity extends Activity { /** Called when the activity is first created. */ @Override public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) { super.onCreate(savedInstanceState); setContentView(R.layout.main); } } At package department.namespace, it says: multiple marks at this line and the type java.lang.Object cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files The import android.os cannot be resolved. Override cannot be resolved as a type The method OnCreate(Bundle) is undefined for the type Activity R. cannot be resolved as a variable. Since this JUST came up when I started Eclipse, how do I fix this?

  • no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path

    Hey all, So I've been plagued by this issue, whenever I try to run my app in eclipse, I get this error. 2011-02-23 09:55:08,388 ERROR (com.xxxxx.services.factory.ServiceInvokerLocal:21) - java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no ocijdbc10 in java.library.path I've tried following the steps I found here with no luck. I've tried this on a XP VM as well as windows 7 (although in win 7 I get a different error, below) java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no ocijdbc9 in java.library.path I've made sure my oracle client was ok (by running TOAD) and I also re-added the classes12.jar / ojdbc14.jars to my WEB-INF/lib folder taken directly from my %ORACLE_HOME% folder (also re-added them to the lib path). I've also tried just adding the ojdbc14.jar without the classes12.jar. Any suggestions appreciated. In the XP VM I have my PATH variable set to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_24\bin;C:\ORACLE\product\10.2.0.1\BIN. I'm using Tomcat server 5.0

    Can anyone recommend a .Net XML Serialization library (ideally open source). I am looking for a robust XML serialization library that I can throw any object at, which will produce a human readable XML representation of the public properties for logging purposes. I never need to be able to deserialize. XmlSerializer's requirement of an object having a parameter constructor is too restrictive for what I want. DataContractSerializer does not give enough control over the output (which is not particularly human-readable). Any recommendations appreciated! Thanks

    Hi, In order to Unit-Test a feature, I need to fake DateTime.Now. Something like: SupposeNowIs(new DateTime(..)); I can either use a third library that does it, or write my own little class. What do you recommand? Do you know any good library for this purpose? How would you fake time in C#? By changing DateTime.Now? (I suppose it's read only?). Thank you!

    Is there an easy way to get the MvcRouteHandler to convert all hyphens in the action and controller sections of an incoming URL to underscores as hyphens are not supported in method or class names. This would be so that I could support such structures as sample.com/test-page/edit-details mapping to Action edit_details and Controller test_pagecontroller while continuing to use MapRoute method. I understand I can specify an action name attribute and support hyphens in controller names which out manually adding routes to achieve this however I am looking for an automated way so save errors when adding new controllers and actions.

  • Install the proper bitness Visual C++ Runtime Library via a Setup project

    Hi all! The context: I have a solution that contains amongh other C# projects, a VC++ project that suports compiling only as x64 or Win32 (but not Any CPU). In order for the application (which in fact is a macro for a third party application) to run, it requires Visual C++ Runtime libraries (x86) or (x64) (The macro will run on both x64 and x86 operating systems.) The problem: I want to create a Visual Studio setup project that would install the macro on both x86 and x64 operating systems, and the problem I have is to specify what Visual C++ Runtime library to use a prerequisite. If both are selected (x64 and x86) than I have a runtime error message when running the setup.exe, as on x86 operating systems you cannot run x64 executables like the Visual C++ Runtime libraries (x64) kit is...(which the setup calls in the back). So I would need a bitness condition, or something like that to tell the setup what bitness version of the Visual C++ Runtime library to try to install...I'm not sure if this is possible, or even where such a code should be placed in the setup.     there are plenty of frameworks for coding MVC web applications. this time im going to code a library (think of Doctrine or Solr) with a bunch of class files. u just include a bootstrap or a class file and you are ready to use my classes. i have never tried to code a library before and intend to code one for learning purpose so that i can use various design patterns i have learned. are there any great frameworks for this, how i should organize the different class files, where i can put configuration files and so on? tutorials or other information would be great too. thanks

    I'm converting an application from the .Net framework to Qt using C++. The application makes extensive use of regular expression unicode properties, i.e. \p{L}, \p{M}, etc. I've just discovered that the QRegExp class lacks support for this among other things (lookbehinds, etc.) Can anyone recommend a C++ regular expression library that: Supports unicode properties Is unicode-aware in other respects (i.e. \w matches more than ASCII word characters) As a bonus, supports lookbehinds. Please don't point me to the wikipedia article; I don't trust it. That article says that QRegExp supports unicode properties. Unless I'm really doing something wrong, it doesn't. I'm looking for someone actually using unicode properties with a regex library in a project.

  • Xcode debugger showing assembler for nested classes in a static library

    I have a project A which creates a static library. I have a project B which uses this library. When I am debugging project B, certain functions within project A will display assembler when stepped into or when a breakpoint set inside them is hit. In the debug navigator, the line containing the function is grey instead of black. The strange part is that other functions in the same source file have no problems displaying. The thing that all these functions seem to have in common is that they belong to nested classes. However, I'm not totally convinced that this is the issue since functions from other nested classes display correctly. Does anyone know the cause of this?
