• What is the main purpose of WebExceptionStatus.Success?

  I am a bit confused about the purpose of the enum value Success of the WebExceptionStatus enumeration. I did a search and did not find this enumeration being used outside the WebException class. This is very confusing to me. Why would an exception be used to indicate a successful action/state. Am I missing something, or did I not search thouroughly enough? Was it introduced for future functionality? Please if anyone does know its basic purpose I would be thankfull if s/he shares with us the explanation.

• Trace output not getting logged in output file at times.

  I'm using TextWriterTraceListener to log error messages to a text file.The TraceOutputFile has been mentioned in the web.config file as "trace.log.txt". The error messages are getting logged to the trace.log.txt. But at times I notice that some files are getting generated randomly under root folder with the exception details instead of logging to the trace.log.txt. This is not happening in any particular page and hence I am unable to detect the reason as to why these files are getting generated.Ex:14dbc20a-9eb8-4fec-b6bd-54400db2ceatrace.log.txt . Can u suggest me any circumstances when this might happen?

  I have an ORM class called Person, which wraps around a person table: After setting up the connection to the db etc, I run the ff statement. people = session.query(Person).all() The person table does not contain any data (as yet), so when I print the variable people, I get an empty list. I renamed the table referred to in my ORM class People, to people_foo (which does not exist). I then run the script again. I was surprised that no exception was thrown when attempting to access a table that does not exist. I therefore have the following 2 questions: How may I setup SQLAlchemy so that it propagates db errors back to the script? It was compiled using msvcrt,static,threads and the name of the resulting library is tcl85tsx.lib. The error is: Unhandled exception at 0x77448c39 in main.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x00000014. The Tcl library works fine, and I can even run a threading script example by loading the Thread extension into it. My assumption is that there is something horribly wrong with a memory violation, but I have no idea what. Any help appreciated.

  Hello, I've been trying to "hijack" the Mac OS X system audio using PyAudio and save to a wav in python. That is, I do not want to record from an input device such as a microphone. I want to grab the sound output from any or all applications. I have followed the tutorials on the PyAudio site but these do not appear to cover my use case and when I try to read from the output stream I unsurprisingly get the paCanNotReadFromAnOutputOnlyStream exception.   I'm trying to save a file in a subdirectory in Android 1.5. I can successfully create a directory using _context.GetFileStreamPath("foo").mkdir(); (_context is the Activity where I start the execution of saving the file) but then if I try to create a file in foo/ by _context.GetFileStreamPath("foo/bar.txt"); I get a exception saying I can't have directory separator in a file name ("/"). I'm missing something of working with files in Android... I thought I could use the standard Java classes but they don't seem to work... I searched the Android documentation but I couldn't fine example and google is not helping me too... I'm asking the wrong question (to google)... Can you help me out with this? Thank you!

  I am having a method which returns the price of a given symbol and i am writing a test for that method. This is my test def setup @asset = NetAssetValue.new end def test_retrieve_price_for_symbol_YHOO assert_equal(33.987, @asset.retrieve_price_for_a_symbol('YHOO')) end def test_retrive_price_for_YHOO def self.retrieve_price_for_a_symbol(symbol) 33.77 end assert_equal(33.97, @asset.retrieve_price_for_a_symbol('YHOO')) end This is my method. def retrieve_price_for_a_symbol(symbol) symbol_price = { "YHOO" => 33.987, "UPS" => 35.345, "T" => 80.90 } raise Exception if(symbol_price[symbol].nil?) symbol_price[symbol] end I am trying to mock the retrieve_price_for_a_symbol method by writing same method in test class but when i call it, the call is happening to method in main class not in the test class. How do I add that method to meta class from test and how do i call it? Please help.
