• CISCO 2911 Router configuration

  Device cisco 2911 router configuration support is required please. I have exchange server 2010 configured and working without any errors the problem is in cisco router configuration when exchange server sends emails out the receives WAN IP not the public ip. I have configured RDNS lookups with our MX record IP addesses that match the FQDN but all our emails are rejected because it does not match with the public ip. Receiving mails problem is not an problem all mails are coming through. i am sure i am missing something on the router configuration that does not sends the public ip, can any one help me to solve this issue. • Java Hibernate/C3P0 error: "Could not obtain connection metadata. An attempt by a client to checkout

  I'm trying to get some code I was passed up and running. It appears to use the Hibernate framework. I've gotten past most of the errors tweaking the configuration, but this one has me dead stumped. It's trying to connect to two databases: gameapp and gamelog. Both exist. It seems to have issues connecting to gamelog, but none connecting to gameapp (later in the init, it connects to and loads other DBs just fine). Below, I've pasted the error and exception stack dump. I imaging there's something else in the configs, so I've also included the configuration file for that db. • Saving a .xls file with fwrite

  hi guys, I have to create a script that takes a mySQL table, and exports it into .XSL format, and then saves that file into a specified folder on the web host. I got it working, but now I can't seem to get it to automatically save the file to the location without prompting the user. It needs to run every day at a specified time, so it can save the previous days leads into a .XSL file on the web host. When I double-click a .wlog file, it opens up my application. However, it doesn't open the correct file. I read somewhere that JNLP was supposed to pass parameters to the main method indicating which file caused the app to be launched, but this is not happening (on OS X 10.6). I get an empty array to my application's main method. Probably unrelated, my splash screen doesn't work :( Any pointers on getting this working?

• Optimizing WordWrap Algorithm

  I have a word-wrap algorithm that basically generates lines of text that fit the width of the text. Unfortunately, it gets slow when I add too much text. I was wondering if I oversaw any major optimizations that could be made. Also, if anyone has a design that would still allow strings of lines or string pointers of lines that is better I'd be open to rewriting the algorithm.   I have a big JPanel which holds many TileMapping objects (TileMapping extends JPanel). I want to zoom the big JPanel and all of its components to be scaled aswell.   Let's say I have an web CMS type application, and an EDM model with an entity called 'article', and I need to offer the ability for client applications, to a read/query the articles (and other resources stored in our database) a straightforward syndication feed of these articles to end users (along the lines of a simple RSS feed) It seems to me that for the first task, and .net 4's dataservice would be perfect for the job. For the second case, I'm wondering (a) whether atom the right format to choose - I think it is - and (b) whether it's possible to achieve such a feed using the same ado.net OData service. So I suppose my question is; Is there a way to make the ado.net dataservice Atom feed look like something suitable for your average news feed reader? - OR, am I using the wrong tool for the wrong purposes, and should I be looking elsewhere (.net syndication API's perhaps)?

  I have a dropdown to display status, which can be Enabled(true) or Disabled(false). • Variable mysteriously changing value

  I am making a simple tcp/ip chat program for practicing threads and tcp/ip. I was using asynchronous methods but had a problem with concurrency so I went to threads and blocking methods (not asynchronous). I have two private variables defined in the class, not static: string amessage = string.Empty; int MessageLength; and a Thread private Thread BeginRead; Ok so I call a function called Listen ONCE when the client starts: public virtual void Listen(int byteLength) { var state = new StateObject {Buffer = new byte[byteLength]}; BeginRead = new Thread(ReadThread); BeginRead.Start(state); } and finally the function to receive commands and process them, I'm going to shorten it because it is really long: private void ReadThread(object objectState) { var state = (StateObject)objectState; int byteLength = state.Buffer.Length; while (true) { var buffer = new byte[byteLength]; int len = MySocket.Receive(buffer); if (len <= 0) return; string content = Encoding.ASCII.GetString(buffer, 0, len); amessage += cleanMessage.Substring(0, MessageLength); if (OnRead != null) { var e = new CommandEventArgs(amessage); OnRead(this, e); } } } Now, as I understand it only one thread at a time will enter BeginRead, I call Receive, it blocks until I get data, and then I process it. The problem: the variable amessage will change it's value between statements that do not touch or alter the variable at all, for example at the bottom of the function at: if (OnRead != null) "amessage" will be equal to 'asdf' and at if (OnRead != null) "amessage" will be equal to qwert. As I understand it this is indicative of another thread changing the value/running asynchronously. I only spawn one thread to do the receiving and the Receive function is blocking, how could there be two threads in this function and if there is only one thread how does amessage's value change between statements that don't affect it's value. As a side note sorry for spamming the site with these questions but I'm just getting a hang of this threading story and it's making me want to sip cyanide. Thanks in advance. • Why does Keychain Services return the wrong keychain content?

  I've been trying to use persistent keychain references in an iPhone application. I found that if I created two different keychain items, I would get a different persistent reference each time (they look like 'genp.......1', 'genp.......2', …). However, attempts to look up the items by persistent reference always returned the content of the first item. Why should this be? I confirmed that my keychain-saving code was definitely creating new items in each case (rather than updating existing items), and was not getting any errors. And as I say, Keychain Services is giving a different persistent reference for each item. I've managed to solve my immediate problem by searching for keychain items by attribute rather than persistent references, but it would be easier to use persistent references so I'd appreciate solving this problem. Every element have elements and so on. Document and TextBox are extending Element.   The challenge: Build an ASCII chart of the most commonly used words in a given text. The rules: Only accept a-z and A-Z (alphabetic characters) as part of a word. Ignore casing (She == she for our purpose). Ignore the following words (quite arbitary, I know): the, and, of, to, a, i, it, in, or, is Clarification: considering don't: this would be taken as 2 different 'words' in the ranges a-z and A-Z: (don and t). Optionally (it's too late to be formally changing the specifications now) you may choose to drop all single-letter 'words' (this could potentially make for a shortening of the ignore list too). Parse a given text (read a file specified via command line arguments or piped in; presume us-ascii) and build us a word frequency chart with the following characteristics: Display the chart (also see the example below) for the 22 most common words (ordered by descending frequency). The bar width represents the number of occurences (frequency) of the word (proportionally). Append one space and print the word. Make sure these bars (plus space-word-space) always fit: bar + [space] + word + [space] should be always <= 80 characters (make sure you account for possible differing bar and word lenghts: e.g.: the second most common word could be a lot longer then the first while not differing so much in frequency). Maximize bar width within these constraints and scale the bars appropriately (according to the frequencies they represent). An example: The text for the example can be found here (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, by Lewis Carroll). • MySQL port 3306 blocked in csf yet can still telnet to port 3306 from external host

  We have a Centos 6 VPS that was recently migrated to a new machine within the same web hosting company. It's running WHM/cPanel and has csf/lfd installed. csf is set up with mostly vanilla config. I'm no iptables expert, csf has not let me down before. If a port isn't in the TCP_IN list, it should be blocked on the firewall by iptables. My problem is that I can telnet to port 3306 from an external host, yet I think iptables ought to be blocking 3306 because of csf's rules. We are now failing a security check because of this open port. (this output is obfuscated to protect the innocent: www.ourhost.com is the host with the firewall problem) [root@nickfenwick log]# telnet www.ourhost.com 3306 Trying 158.255.45.107... Connected to www.ourhost.com. Escape character is '^]'. HHost 'nickfenwick.com' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL serverConnection closed by foreign host. So the connection is established, and MySQL refuses the connection due to its configuration. I need the network connection to be refused at the firewall level, before it reaches MySQL. Using WHM's csf web UI I can see 'Firewall Configuration' includes a fairly sensible TCP_IN line: TCP_IN: 20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,222,443,465,587,993,995,2077,2078,2082,2083,2086,2087,2095,2096,8080 (lets ignore that I could trim that a little for now, my concern is that 3306 is not listed in that list) When csf is restarted it logs the usual slew of output as it sets up iptables rules, for example what looks like it blocking all traffic and then allowing specific ports like SSH on 22: [cut] DROP all opt -- in * out * 0.0.0.0/0 -> 0.0.0.0/0 [cut] ACCEPT tcp opt -- in !lo out * 0.0.0.0/0 -> 0.0.0.0/0 state NEW tcp dpt:22 [cut] I can see that iptables is running, service iptables status returns a long list of firewall rules. Here is my Chain INPUT section from service iptables status, hopefully that's enough to show how the firewall is configured. • XNA: Best way to load and read a XML file?

  I'm having difficulty doing this seemingly simple task. I want to load XML files with the same ease of loading art assets: content = new ContentManager(Services); content.RootDirectory = "Content"; Texture2d background = content.Load<Texture2D>("images\\ice"); I'm not sure how to do this. This tutorial seems helpful, but how do I get a StorageDevice instance? • ffmpeg add two audio streams to video

  I tried this: ffmpeg -i /sdcard/video/transcode/video.avi -map 0:0,0 -i /sdcard/video/transcode/first.mp3 -map 1:0,1 -i /sdcard/video/transcode/second.mp3 -map 2:0,2 -acodec copy -vcodec py /sdcard/video/transcode/Output.avi to add two audio streams to one video file. But ffmpeg says the number of mappings should match the number of output streams. What is wrong here? I'm trying to work with an Android build of FFmepg "ffmpeg for android beta". "Does not work" means that this uncommunicative Android build of FFmpeg just stops without giving any error message. The -codec copy option does not work with this build. Now I tried the same set of files with the FFmpeg called command line tool that comes with Ubuntu 10. Something (can't say where it is from). The -codec copy option does not work with this FFmpeg too. By the way, ffmpeg -i input_with_first_audio_stream.avi -i second.mp3 -acodec copy -vcodec copy output_two_audio_streams.avi -newaudio works with both versions of ffmpeg that I use, but the first audio stream is played too fast (x10 or more), while the second audio stream is played correct. Many thanks in advance and sorry for my unconventional question and outdated versions of ffmpeg. But I am a lamer and it is not so easy for me to compile from the source (especially for the Android version). I will try to compile an up to date version of ffmpeg with Ubuntu, but I don't have much free time.

• Prevent lazy loading in nHibernate

  Hi, I'm storing some blobs in my database, so I have a Document table and a DocumentContent table. Document contains a filename, description etc and has a DocumentContent property. I have a Silverlight client, so I don't want to load up and send the DocumentContent to the client unless I explicity ask for it, but I'm having trouble doing this. I've read the blog post by Davy Brion. I have tried placing lazy=false in my config and removing the virtual access modifier but have had no luck with it as yet. Every time I do a Session.Get(id), the DocumentContent is retrieved via an outer join. I only want this property to be populated when I explicity join onto this table and ask for it. Any help is appreciated.
