    hi i want to read request stream from a custom httpWebRequest class that inherits from httpWebRequest and i have tried to read the request stream in different stages but sitll not sure how to archieve that in the class,thanks very much for any help. This custom httpWebRequest is used to serilize soap message and i want to know what request has been sent in string format. I also implemented custom HttpRequestCreator,HttpWebResponse but till cant find a place/stage i can read the request stream. If i output everything in a memory stream then copy the content to request stream, anyone knows which stage i can do it in the constructor, BeginGetRequestStream,EndGetRequestStream or GetRequestStream?

  • Can a flex app (or a portion of a flex app) be made transparent to mouse clicks?

    I need to superimpose my Flex app above a plain HTML control on a web page, and be able to click through the Flex app to interact with the HTML control. Is there any way to do this? No permutation of mouseEnabled="false" or mouseChildren="false" seems to have the desired effect. Context: trying to integrate Google Earth API (JavaScript/HTML) with my flex app. I am leaving a portion of the flex app transparent and empty, and positioning the Google Earth widget just below that point in the z-index. Google Earth has to be behind flex, because there are some Flex controls periodically displayed in that space.

  • How can you use jQuery to make sIFR-replaced elements fade in?

    This is what I currently have: // #content is visibility=hidden sIFR.replace(mix_bold, { selector: '#content p', onReplacement: function(fi) { $('#content').fadeIn("slow"); } }); The fade in happens, but for a split second the replaced flash movie appears before being hidden. Has anyone gotten this to work? I am using jQuery 1.2.6 and sIFR 3 r436. Tested in Safari 4 and FF 3. Thanks!

  • TextMate/Macfusion combo for mounting projects over SSH

    Here is my workflow: I use Macfusion to mount a server over SSH, and then edit the root directory of the project in TextMate (using mate /Volumes/server/projectdir). I have a plug in installed that disables refreshing on refresh. This works ALMOST perfectly--the only thing I have problems with is "Find in Project": it's REALLY slow. Has anyone run into this problem before and been able to find any solutions? Currently I go to terminal when I have to do a search, but it would be great to be able to do it in TextMate. Thanks!

  • Best way to version control a WCF application with Git?

    Suppose I have the following projects. The format is [ProjectName] : [ProjectDependency1, ProjectDependency2, etc.] // Service CoolLibrary WcfApp.Core WcfApp.Contracts WcfApp.Services : CoolLibrary, WcfApp.Core, WcfApp.Contracts // Clients CustomerX.App : WcfApp.Contracts CustomerY.App : WcfApp.Contracts CustomerZ.App : WcfApp.Contracts (On a side note, WcfApp.Contracts should not depend on WcfApp.Core, right? Else CustomerX.App would also depend on and thus be exposed to the service domain model?) (CoolLibrary is shared with other applications, so I can't just put it inside of WcfApp.Services.) All of this code is in-house. I was thinking of having 6 repositories for this. The format is [repository folder name] : [Projects included in repository.] 1. CoolLibrary.git : CoolLibrary 2. WcfApp.Contracts.git : WcfApp.Contracts 3. WcfApp.git : WcfApp.Core, WcfApp.Services 4. CustomerX.App.git : CustomerX.App 5. CustomerY.App.git : CustomerY.App 6. CustomerZ.App.git : CustomerZ.App How should I manage my project dependencies? I see three options: I could use binaries which I have to manually copy to each dependent repository. I also read that I can use something called the subtree merge strategy, but I am not sure how it is different from just cloning the repo into a subdirectory and adding the subdirectory to .gitignore. Is the difference that the subtree is recorded in the master repository, so (for example) cloning it from a different location will also pull the subtree? I know I asked a lot of questions in this post, but the most important two questions I have are: 1. Am I using the right number and layout of repositories? Should I use less or more? 2. Which of the three dependency management strategies would you recommend? Is there another strategy I haven't considered?

    I have an url /reportcsv that generates a plain text csv with Content-type: text/csv and Content-disposition: attachment; filename=report.csv. I want trigger this csv to be downloaded using Javascript. I'm considering two methods: 1) Setting location.href = /reportcsv 2) Setting an iframe url to /reportcsv Both seem to work in Safari. I was wondering if there is any difference between them, or if one is recommended over the other. My main requirement is that I don't want the user to leave the current page.

  • Received memory warning on setimage

    This problem has completely stumped me. This is for iOS 5.0 with Xcode 4.2 What's going on is that in my app I let user select images from their photo album and I save those images to apps document directory. Pretty straight forward. What I do then is that in one of the viewController.m files I create multiple UIImageViews and I then set the image for the image view from one of the picture that user selected from apps dir. The problem is that after a certain number of UIImage sets I receive a "Received memory warning". It usually happens when there are 10 pictures. If lets say user selected 11 pictures then the app crashes with Error (GBC). NOTE: each of these images are at least 2.5 MB a piece. After hours of testing I finally narrowed down the problem to this line of code [button1AImgVw setImage:image]; If I comment out that code. All compiles fine and no memory errors happen. But if I don't comment out that code I receive memory errors and eventually a crash. Also note it does process the whole CreateViews IBAction but still crashes at the end. I cannot do release or dealloc since I am running this on iOS 5.0 with Xcode 4.2 Here is the code that I used. I need to retain the closures as there are a lot more in the code base that I am porting.

    I'm getting the following error when trying rake a project I'm working on, and I can't figure out why. The message happens no matter what variable I sent it. Objective-C stub for message `setTranslucent:' type `v@:c' not precompiled.   • extra new lines with several outputStream.write

    Hi All, I am writing jsp to export data in excel format to user. An excel could be recieved on the cient side. However, since there's large amount of data, and I don't want to keep it in the server memory and write them at the end. I try to divide them and write serveral times. However, each extra write(..) will cause an extra new lines at the top of the excel worksheet and then the extra data is placed after these new lines. Does anyone know the reasons?   • How to print arguments passed to configure script?

    Hi, I'm trying to print arguments passed to a ./configure script. Calling 'echo' on $BASH_ARGV will just print the last set of arguments. For example if I run: ./configure --enable-foo --enable-bar echo $BASH_ARGV will print only "--enable-bar" How do I print all the arguments? Thanks!

    So I'm creating a plugin for Ruby on Rails to make implemented addresses including country, state, city, and zip_code for countries that can follow that paradigm a lot easier but that's beside the point expect for how the address model is associated. So starting with my address model. class Address < ActiveRecord::Base has_one :country has_one :state has_one :city has_one :zip_code end What's the difference between saying belongs_to and has_one Seems to be the same thing because both only require one model to declare ownership and foreign_key And it also seems that both are logical to say. an address belongs to an account and an account has one address Is this only semantics or is there are real difference

    I'm having trouble locating BlackBerry techical specifications and their website is a mess. They also don't have a number that I can use to easily contact them. This isn't exactly a coding question, but what does the BlackBerry audio API look like, and where can I get technical specifications on audio? Specifically, I'm trying to find out more information on Audio-In, specifically, through the Mic-In on the 3.5 mm jack. Unfortunately, before I can proceed, I need to know such things like sampling rate, data width, etc. Direction to the right resource or if you know off of the top of your head is appreciated.

  • Get Windows mobile sound level, especially silent mode

    In Windows Mobile (5,6) you can have different sound volume settings. The volume itself is easy, but how do I differ between the two silent settings? There is one volume setting "vibration only" and one "no sound, no vibration at all". Since my program is using vibration, I'd like to know if windows mobile is set to "no vibration at all", so I don't annoy the user when he wants his phone to be absolutely silent.
