• Invoking active_record error - can not load file in Ruby on Rails

• Apache complex regex crashing with 500 error

  I have been working with an existing website out company has running until I finish developing the new site. I've been asked to add some additional functionality to booking pages that will automatically set a booking button based on passed parameters. The existing working regex is as follows: RewriteRule ^.+-(\d+)\.accommodation$ property_detail.php?id=$1 Which works fine with the url like below and passes through the URL. this-is-the-property-name.1234.accomodation However as a quick shiv, I am trying to do the following: this-is-the-property-name.1234.accomodation?override=true&start_date=2010-05-14&numbernights=2&sleeps=10&price=1012 The regex I came up with for this was: RewriteRule ^.+-(\d+)\.accommodation\?override=(\w+)&start_date=(19|20)[0-9]{2}[- /.](0[1-9]|1[012])[- /.](0[1-9]|[12][0-9]|3[01])&numbernights=(\d+)&sleeps=(\d+)&price=(\d+)$ property_detail.php?id=$1&override=$2&start_date=$3-$4-$5&numbernights=$6&sleeps=$7&price=$8 The regex is passing as valid in RegexBuddy - however it keeps causing a 500 error on the server. Can anyone help me get my head around this one?

• SQL Server 2005 Error 701 - out of memory

  I'm currently having following error message when executing a .sql file with about 26MB on SQL Server 2005: Msg 701, Level 17, State 123 There is insufficient system memory to run this query. I'm working with 4GB RAM, 64Bit Windows 7 Ultimate, Core2Duo T6400(2GHz)... Is there a way to execute it without receiving this message (maybe force SQL Server to use swap file?) or a way to execute it in parts (like 100 queries a time)... The file is basically a CREATE TABLE followed by thousads of INSERT queries and I have a lot of those (converted .DBF files to SQL queries using ABC DBF Converter) Any idea will be very appreciated!

  We're parsing an XML document using JAXB and get this error: [org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.] at javax.xml.bind.helpers.AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.createUnmarshalException(AbstractUnmarshallerImpl.java:315) What exactly does this mean and how can we resolve this?? We are executing the code as: jaxbContext = JAXBContext.newInstance(Results.class); Unmarshaller unmarshaller = jaxbContext.createUnmarshaller(); unmarshaller.setSchema(getSchema()); results = (Results) unmarshaller.unmarshal(new FileInputStream(inputFile)); Update Issue appears to be due to this "funny" character in the XML file: ¿ Why would this cause such a problem??

If I let other required fields empty then the message is displayed. Else, if this is the only field with an error, the message doesn`t get displayed. I want it to display the message and not save the form values.

  Hi all, I'm new to Symfony and I'm going through the Jobeet tutorial v1.4 for Doctrine. I am currently stuck on Day 3. I've followed all the instructions on configuring the database and building models and modules; however, when I try to access "http://localhost:8080/frontend_dev.php" I receive the following error: 'Configuration "config/databases.yml" does not exist or is unreadable.' My config/databases.yml file looks like this: all: doctrine: class: sfDoctrineDatabase param: dsn: 'mysql:host=localhost;dbname=jobeet' username: root password: mysecret Creating the tables and loading the fixtures seem to work fine after checking the database with phpmyadmin. • sem_open() error: "undefined reference to sem_open()" on linux (Ubuntu 10.10)

  So I am getting the error: "undefined reference to sem_open()" even though I have include the semaphore.h header. The same thing is happening for all my pthread function calls (mutex, pthread_create, etc). Any thoughts?   I am converting my database from sql server 2005 to mysql using asp .net mvc. I have bulk data in sql server(around 4 lakh records), But i am facing command timeout/wating for comand timeout error which when i search on google can be given 65535 as its highest value Or can be given 0 if someone wants that comand should wait for unlimited time untill its above command get executed. Both of these a'int working with me. I also have given any connectTimeout to 180. So shoiuld i have to change it too. Anybody who had face this problem or have any confirm knowledge please share

  Hi - Webmethod returns an array of objects - something like this {"d": [[{"Amount":100,"Name":"StackOverflow"}, {"Amount":200,"Name":"Badges"}, {"Amount":300,"Name":"Questions"}]]} On the client-side, when the JSON is referenced using msg.d, I get a msg.d is undefined error. I am using jQuery JavaScript Library v1.4.2 How do I access the elements in the array of objects? Adding more findings, code and questions: I don't see __type in the JSON object that is returned. Does that mean that the object sent from the server is not JSON formatted? When the __type is not a part of the response, I will not be able to use msg.d? (msg.d is undefined) Some more: 1. I can access the elements from client side using msg[0][0].Amount - How can I specifically JSON format my return object (from the server)

• Problem to connect to MySQL server (error #2002) in PHP

  Hello, I installed ZWAMP 1.0.7 (on Windows 7), but I'm having a weird problem. I can't connect to my MySQL server from any PHP script. If I try to use MySQL command line everything works fine but PHPMyAdmin retruns error #2002. I'm not sure whether it's important or not but MySQL server is not able to create socket file. I don't know what's the problem but I think everything is configured in my.cnf properly. Do you have any ideas?

  Hi, I have a FTP connection manager in SSIS. I have configured it with serevr IP, port number, user name, and password. It was working fine. But suddenly its stopped working. But i am able to login directly to the FTP web site directly .It was not working temporarily.But now its working with same login credentials. But my FTP connection manager in SSIS is unable to connect to the server. with following Error message "connection cannot be established.server name ,port number ,credentials may be invalid" What could be the reason? I have checked servername,port and login credentials all are same. Note: This is a ssl ftp website(https://xxx.xx.xx.com/) Some one please look into this isssue and provide a solution. Thanks SNA

What is wrong with this? is the only way to put html tag inside XMl file is to use CDATA?

• ASP.NET State Error

  I am have an asp.net page, where a list of products is shown in a drop down. When a user selects an item, corresponding price, available quantity etc. are shown in the corresponding text boxes. I have used ajax update panel to retrieve these information. This approach seems to work nicely. But sometimes when a product is selected, it takes too long for the price, quantities to change, and sometimes they don't even change. Then I used firebug to see what happened to the ajax request, and I found out that the response that is coming from the server is something like this - 70|error|500|The state information is invalid for this page and might be corrupted.| I have absolutely no idea what is wrong here.............

  Hi, I have an input field that captures a date in my form <%= f.text_field :from_date, :style => 'width:80px;' %> The user enters the date in the following format MM/DD/YYYY. However, when there is a validation error in the model and the form is displayed back to the user with the entered values, the date format is converted to YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS UTC. Where do I format this to show MM/DD/YYYY, when the form is displayed to the user. thanks.

Is there a better way to do this as in a way to fillin the text body box of gmail compose section. Or some way to open the page and have it prefilled with javascript some how...

  I have a pure ActionScript project. I'm using Flex Builder on a Mac, Flex SDK 3.4 and I've even added the playerglobal.swc from the Flash folder to the project's library path. I get autocomplete when I add import flash.net.NetStreamPlayOptions; import flash.net.NetStreamPlayTransitions; But when I run the movie, I get: VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.net::NetStreamPlayOptions could not be found. • Odd compiler error on if-clause without braces

  The following Java code is throwing a compiler error: if ( checkGameTitle(currGame) ) ArrayList<String> items = parseColumns( tRows.get(rowOffset+1), currGame, time, method ); checkGameTitle is a public static function, returning a boolean. The errors are all of the type "cannot find symbol" with the symbols being variable ArrayList, variable String and variable items. However, if I add {curly braces} then the code compiles with no errors. Why might this be? Is there some ambiguity on the if clause without them?
