• Using MSBuild, how to construct a dynamic string from iterating over files in an ItemGroup?

  I need to create multiple /testcontainer: parameters to feed into a task that exec's MsTest. I have the following : <ItemGroup> <TestFiles Include="$(ProjectPath)\**\UnitTest.*.dll" /> </ItemGroup> for each match in TestFiles I would like to build a string like so: "/testcontainer:UnitTest.SomeLibrary1.dll" "/testcontainer:UnitTest.SomeLibrary2.dll" "/testcontainer:UnitTest.SomeLibrary3.dll" I am trying to use the internals of MSBuild without having to create a custom task, is this possible ? • Add a Message Bar or Info Bar to Word using interop or vsto

  I have VS 2010 and Word 2010. In Word 2010 there is sometimes a message/warning bar that pops up under the ribbon but above the body of the document that allows the user to do an action. It looks something like this... Can I programmatically though VSTO or Interop create a custom bar that allows the user to click a button and then it executes some code.   I have a simple program where I would like to save an arraylist to a file, so that when the program is restarted, it loads from the file to the arraylist in memory. Is this possible in C#? Or do I need to itterate over the arraylist countaining my custom classes and in someway print them out? Any tips on a correct way to do this?

• Sharepoint, error on adding a webpart to a totally new page.

  I have a problem on adding a webpart to sharepoint page. I have a blank page in the sharepoint, and I have a custom control uploaded to the site, on adding the webpart the the sharepoint page I get the following error: "Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))" I get that error even if the sharepoint page is totally blank and so is the web part.

  I'm using OleDbDataReader rdr to read a "Comments" field in BLOB form (sub_type 1 segment size 80) into a string from an Interbase DB, and I keep getting exceptions. Any suggestions?   As an ASP.NET developer, I'm used to working with how VS/C# transparently autogens proxy classes for web references (yes, I know, we're spoiled), but now that I'm creating documentation for more than one coding platform I'm trying to discover what the equivelant to that is in any other framework. So is there a similar way to work transparently with web reference proxy classes for say, RoR, PHP, and Python? And if there's nothing integrated, are there tools you recommend to autogen the proxy classes, or do you recommend to roll custom classes?

• Not being prompted to download CSV file.

  I've created a custom solution in WordPress that will generate a CSV file to be downloaded by clicking a simple hyperlink, linked directly to this file. Instead of being prompted to download the file to the computer; the CSV opens in the the browser window instead. FWIW I'm on Media Temple using a vanilla install of WordPress.
