    I know that when parsing XML with objective-c most of the time you use NSXMLParser. But what if you only need to read one element. Using NSXMLParser sounds like an overload to me. The issue is that flickr API doesn't use JSON as response when uploading an image. So my response now is: 4638598522 I only need to know the photoid and I like to know what the best solution will be for this.

    hi every one i am iphone developer as standard registered, i installed SDK4 seed version is fine and i alos instal ios4 for my ipod touch that is register in apple for development use, so i used xcode organizer to update my ipodtouch to new ios4 every this was fine and working to upload data , but in middle is crash and didn't work , now my ipod touch is dead is not working at all and i try to restore my ipad from backup i have in itune it didn't work? so any one has solution for my problem for installing ios4 in my ipodtouch ? thanks

    Hi all, i am currently working on a web application that needs to accept video uploaded by users in any format (.avi, .mov, etc.) and convert them to flv for playing in a flash-based player. Since the site is OpenCms-based, the best solution would be a ready-made plugin for OpenCms that allowed to upload and play videos doing the transcode operation in background, but just a set of Java classes to do the transcode would be great and then i could make the uploading form and playback part on my own.

    Hi all I'd like to have multiple global hotkeys in my new app (to control the app from anywhere in windows), and all of the given sources/solutions I found on the web seem to provide with a sort of a limping solution (either solutions only for one g.hotkey, or solutions that while running create annoying mouse delays on the screen).     I've got a solution which I setup / cleanup using batch files ... - there are a pair of MSMQ ports, send and receive, with another application on the end of the queues I'm finding I can't properly stop the orchestration in the batch file ... the error is the send port is unenlisted - I'm using the StopOrch.vbs script from the SDK samples But I can go into BizTalk Admin Console and manually stop the orchestration with Full Terminate Ok The setup / cleanup works Ok if I don't actually push any messages down the MSMQ queues

    Hi, I am migrating my db from Interbase to Firebird, and the 1st hiccup we hit comes from our stored proc names. We have a handful of stored procedures with names greater than 31 characters (which appears to be the max in FB 2.1.3) Is there a way to increase this limitation?     I have a shell script with this code: var=`hg st -R "$path"` if [ -n "$var" ]; then echo $var fi But the conditional code always executes because hg st always prints at least one newline character. Is there a simple way to strip whitespace from $var (like trim() in php)? or Is there a standard way of dealing with this issue? I could use sed or awk, but I'd like to think there is a more elegant solution to this problem.

    I'm trying to implement paging using row-based limiting (for example: setFirstResult(5) and setMaxResults(10)) on a Hibernate Criteria query that has joins to other tables. Understandably, data is getting cut off randomly; and the reason for that is explained here. As a solution, the page suggests using a "second sql select" instead of a join. How can I convert my existing criteria query (which has joins using createAlias()) to use a nested select instead?

    I have model, Match, with two foreign keys: class Match(model.Model): winner = models.ForeignKey(Player) loser = models.ForeignKey(Player) When I loop over Match I find that each model instance uses a unique object for the foreign key.     I need to ensure that a given field does not have more than one space (not concerned about all white space, just space) between characters. So 'single spaces only' Needs to turn into 'single spaces only' The below will not work select replace('single spaces only',' ',' ') as it would result in 'single spaces only' I would really prefer to stick with native TSQL rather than a CLR based solution. Thoughts?
