  I'm using JQuery tabs to implement a very simple tabbed web site design. It works OK, unless I define another div inside every pane's div - this inner div is always invisible, i.e. display:none. I can probably hack it to make it work, but maybe I'm missing something. Is it how JQuery supposed to work ?

  Hi I need to emulate a task pane by floating a modeless form over the Excel main window. The reason for this requirement is that I need to have taskpane features for my Excel 2003 add-in, but cannot use the document-centric model. Can anyone suggest what would be the best way to do this? The modeless form would need to detect the main window resize event and resize itself accordingly, and also need to always position itself at the bottom of the window (kind of like a docking pane).

  whats the regEx to check if a sting starts with "mailto" or "ftp" or "joe" or... now i am using c# and code like this in a bif if with many OR's: String.StartsWith("mailto:") String.StartsWith("ftp") and looks like regEx would be better for this, or is there a c# way i am missing here?

  Hi Guys, I'd like to use the built in directory security features built into the web.config to restrict access to child pages of a parent page. My structure is as follows: Members Members/News Members/Press Members/Movies Users should be able to have access to the members parent page, but not child pages. My problem is, because I am using extensionless URLs, the web.config thinks this is a directory and so access is blocked. Is there a way to say only restrict access for sub pages?

  I'm trying to send an ActionSheet a variable from a button. I can't use the tag property because its being used for something else. I've declared myIndexRow as an instance variable and have: NSInteger myIndexRow = indexPath.row; [deleteButton addTarget:self action:@selector(showDeleteSheet:) forControlEvents:UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; deleteButton.myIndexRow = myIndexRow; but I'm getting the 'Request for member 'myRow' is something not a structure or union' There is something obvious I am missing here.

I set IndexField to NOT_ANALYZED_NO_NORMS and Field.Store.YES When I look at my index in LUKE, the fields are as I expected, a value such as: 'SKU Number', yet when I search for 'SKU' or 'SKU*' nothing comes up. What am I missing?

• How can I tell [G]vim where to look for python26.dll?

  I have a version of Vim compiled with python 2.6 support enabled (from here). however vim cannot find the python26.dll. :version confirms +python/dyn :version and gvim.exe confirms DYNAMIC_PYTHON_DLL="python26.dll" echo PATH confirms python26.dll is in the search path. (both c:\windows\system32, and C:\python26) What could I be missing? Did I skip something silly?

So I have to override the button proporties in the onApplyTemplate().   I know the .NET framework and WPF pretty well, but I think the whole thing has gotten too blown up, especially for small apps as the whole .NET framework 3.5 weighs 197 MB by now. I am looking for a language/framework/library that provides functionality similar to that of WPF (animations, gradients, a.s.o.) and the .NET framework (of course not everything, but the basic features) and which is faster and more lightweight than the .NET framework and creates smaller and faster applications than the ones using .NET.
