I want to implement the cd with the below options : -P Do not follow symbolic links -L Follow symbolic links (default) My query is that , when a given path is entered on the shell how to figure out if the path is a symbolic link or an absolute path progamatically?   • Seamlessly use large background images on webpages

    I want to have huge background images on my site but without giving the user a hard time downloading them and the site looking ugly as the background loads. They would be no bigger than 1920 X 1080 in size, however it's hard to say in terms of kilobytes/megabytes. What are my options here and which are most effective? I'm not too bothered about bandwidth, just want to user to think everything looks nice ;)

  • KDevelop has no build menu.

    I have just installed KDevelop on my Ubuntu machine (KDevelop 3.9.95 on Ubuntu 9.10) with sudo apt-get install kdevelop I created a new project with the "Hello World" program in it, but there doesn't appear to be any way to compile anything. The manuals refer to the build menu but there isn't one, all all compile options on the other menus are greyed out. Does anyone know what I have done wrong?

For example, if I type in example.com/main, I get the file at www.example.com/main.php. How do I get the .php extension if the code tells the rewriting to stop after adding the www. to the beginning of example.com?

    We have a an iPhone app project that we wish to deploy multiple times under different client names. The individual apps will be very similar but will have different resources (icon, images etc) and config settings stored in plists (server names, options etc). What is the preferred means to manage this in Xcode? Obviously we really don't want different XCode projects for each App deployment since it's 90% shared code.

I was thinking of implementing an AlertDialog but as I need more than 3 options it is not possible... I also thought of putting my ListView in a FrameLayout and have an view with a gone visibility that I would turn visible at the click and update the content but I don't know If it's a good idea.     Hi, I use TortoiseSVN on WindowsXP and ran into an issue inside repository browser today. Basically, I can browser/checkout fine at application level "https://domain/svn/app1". However, When I try to browse at the root level of the repository "https://domain/svn/", the following error msg displays: OPTIONS of 'https://domain/svn': 200 OK I try to access https://domain/svn in a web browser, I can see all the applications there.
