ProgressDialog progressDialog = ProgressDialog.show(getBaseContext(), "LOADING_TITLE", "LOADING_MESSAGE"); In place of getBaseContext() I've tried... getApplicationContext() this NativeActivity.this (NativeActivity)getApplicationContext() Among others. I'm not sure why it's not working. In the NativeExtensionContext which extends FREContext I am passing the activity using getActivity() to NativeActivity. Everything works well but I get a "Nullpointerexception" or “android.view.WindowManager$BadTokenException: Unable to add window — token null is not for an application” when I try I try to get a reference to the Context. Anyone with experience using Adobe AIR Native Extensions and/or Android Java would be great.

  • AsteriskNow Migration / Shared Extension Space

    I am testing the possibility of migrating from an old Avaya phone system to AsteriskNow. The migration would cover several hundred phones--but spread out over several years. (Management wants to move buildings to the new phone system one by one as cables get cut or time permits.) Two other directive is that extensions must not change and they want a GUI that other admins (non-Linux geeks) can manage. They currently use 9XXX for all extensions. We linked the Avaya and Asterisk box via PRI card and they both are communicating. From the Avaya side, if we move (for example) extension 9001 to Asterisk, we forward the call over the PRI to the AsteriskNow box and the SIP phone rings. In AsteriskNow we have an outgoing rule '_9XXX' that routes all 4-digit extensions starting with 9 back to Avaya. Here's the trouble. Dialing 9001 (the extension moved over to AsteriskNow) causes the call to be routed out the PRI to the Avaya box, then the Avaya box routes the call back to Asterisk, and Asterisk routes it to the SIP phone. As we get more and more users switched over, it will use up more and more channels over the PRI card. Is there a way I can ask Asterisk to check it's local extensions first--then forward off to the Avaya system if it starts with '_9XXX'? (I know how I can do it when editing the raw config files, I'm just looking for a way to do it in the GUI so other admins can manage it if necessary.) As a last-ditch plan, I know I can specifically add '_9001' as an outgoing call rule and sent it directly to extension 9001--but I'd really hate to do that for several hundred phones

  • MediaWiki Math Extension Out of Sync

    I am trying to run MediaWiki 1.19.2 on Ubuntu Linux (3.0.0-26-generic #42-Ubuntu AMD 64). It installs fine via tar.gz, however, I run into problems when trying to install the Math extension (via git clone from its repository). I get the following error in the Apache logs: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method FSFileBackend::getRootStoragePath() in /var/www/abc.com/html/mediawiki-1.19.2/extensions/Math/Math.body.php on line 361, referer: http://intra.abc.com/wiki/index.php?title=Quality&action=submit so apparently, the latest Math extension is out-of-sync with MediaWiki 1.19.2; the latest Math extension is apparently using post-1.19.2 methods. I tried looking through the git logs for some indication (a tag, perhaps?) of which revision of Math worked with 1.19.2, but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Edit: Just my luck - after posting this message, I found this link. I think this version should do the job. Consider this question closed/answered.

  • PHP extension causes symbol lookup error

    Dear, I installed - or better tried to - the NMCryptGate Extension for PHP on my Debian 5.0.8 server. I did this by compiling the sources which came up with no error message. Calling phpinfo() I can see the extension as enabled. BUT, whenever I try calling a method from this extension I get an error logged to the apache error log: /usr/sbin/apache2: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/php5/20060613+lfs/nmcryptgate.so: undefined symbol: nmlistalloc What is missing? I got two packages from the software company: the php module sources and some files which should - according to their path inside the tar - go to /usr/local/bin|doc|include|lib. I moved them there without any effect.     Original question: I'm having trouble installing the PHP Pecl Intl extension on my CentOs 5 machine. After installing both icu and libicu with the following commands: $ yum install icu $ yum install libicu I tried to install the Intl extension like so: $ /usr/bin/pecl install intl I selected to search for the default location for the ICU libraries and header files. It ends up crashing like this: checking whether to enable internationalization support... yes, shared checking for icu-config... no checking for location of ICU headers and libraries... not found configure: error: Unable to detect ICU prefix or no failed. Please verify ICU install prefix and make sure icu-config works. ERROR: `/tmp/pear/temp/intl/configure --with-icu-dir=DEFAULT' failed update After successfully installing the development version of icu as suggested by RusAlex (thanks RusAlex) like so: $ yum install libicu-devel I ran into a new problem which I also encountered locally the following command: $ /usr/bin/pecl install intl now produces this error: /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:92: error: duplicate 'static' /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:96: error: duplicate 'static' /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:101: error: duplicate 'static' /private/tmp/pear/temp/intl/collator/collator_class.c:107: error: duplicate 'static' make: *** [collator/collator_class.lo] Error 1 ERROR: `make' failed It appears to have something to do with PHP 5.3 being bundled with Intl already. But how can I enable this extension, if I look in my PHP Info than I cannot find any reference to it...

  • MySQL extension of PHP not working

    In a Debian server, and after intallation and removal of SquirrelMail (with some downgrade and upgrade of php5, mysql...) the MySQL extension of PHP has stopped working. I have php5-mysql installed, and when I try to connect to a database through php-cli, i connect successfully, but when I try to connect from a web served by Apache I cannot connect. This script, run by php5-cli: echo phpinfo(); $link = mysql_connect('localhost', 'user, 'password'); if (!$link) { die('Could not connect: ' . mysql_error()); } echo 'Connected successfully'; mysql_close($link); Prints the phpinfo, which includes "/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/mysql.ini", and also the MySQL section with all the configuration: SOCKET, LIBS... And then it prints "Connectes successfully". But when run by apache accessed by web browser, it displays the phpinfo, which includes "/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/mysql.ini", but has the MySQL section missing, and the script dies printing "Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()". Note that both "/etc/php5/cli/conf.d/mysql.ini" and "/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/mysql.ini" are in fact the same configuration, because I have in debian the structure: /etc/php5/apache2 /etc/php5/cgi /etc/php5/cli /etc/php5/conf.d And both point at the same directory: /etc/php5/apache2/conf.d -> ../conf.d /etc/php5/cli -> ../conf.d Where /etc/php5/conf.d/mysql.ini consists of one line: extension=mysql.so So my question is: why is the MySQL extension for PHP not working if I have the configuration included just in the same way as in php-cli, which is working? The xml contents of this extension point has gotten really big. Is there a way that I can move the contents of my snippets extension to a separate file?     As discussed here, I'm trying to add a WCF endpoint-extension; I've got it working, but I need to include the full assembly details: <extensions> <behaviorExtensions> <add name="protobuf" type="ProtoBuf.ServiceModel.ProtoBehaviorExtension, protobuf-net, Version=1.0.0.275, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=257b51d87d2e4d67"/> </behaviorExtensions> </extensions> What I would like to do (to avoid issues when updating etc, especially for samples) is to include just the names: <add name="protobuf" type="ProtoBuf.ServiceModel.ProtoBehaviorExtension, protobuf-net"/> (which is what you might expect from standard assembly-naming conventions) However, if I do this, I get a big error: Parser Error Message: An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for system.serviceModel/behaviors: Extension element 'protobuf' cannot be added to this element. Verify that the extension is registered in the extension collection at system.serviceModel/extensions/behaviorExtensions. Is it possible (and if so: how) to add an extension without having to specify the assembly-version?

  • Windows file association for README, INSTALL, LICENSE and the like [closed]

    Possible Duplicate: How to set the default program for opening files without an extension in Windows? Many files originating in the UNIX world come without file extension. Popular examples include README, INSTALL, LICENSE. We know for a fact that these are text files. It is therefore a bit disappointing not to be able to just double-click them open in Explorer and see them in Notepad (actually, Notepad2 because of the UNIX line endings which silly Microsoft Notepad doesn't render correctly). Does anyone know of a way to create a file association for, say, README files without extension? This could then be replicated to cover the most frequently occurring file types, and then double-clicking them open would work. Update (Sort of in response to all your comments.) Thanks, folks, your comments and answers have helped me. @Indrek, yes, I was under the assumption that you could somehow create an association for just README or Makefile, and couldn't do so for files without extension. Turns out the contrary is true, and yes, that is a workaround that neatly solves the issue. Ultimately, I just want to be able to double-click to open a README or Makefile, that's all. @Sampo, the SendMe trick is also useful, although usability is not as great as a straight double-click. (I'm really lazy sometimes.) Turns out the following trick using ftype and ftype from an Administrator prompt does the double-click enabling job: assoc .=no_ext ftype no_ext=%SystemRoot%\system32\NOTEPAD.EXE %1 :: You can see it created some entries in the registry: reg query hkcr\no_ext /s reg query hkcr\. /s

  • Proliant Support Pack and Ubuntu on older HP Proliants

    We have a couple of oldish HP Proliant servers -- one DL385 G1 and one DL360 G5, to be exact -- that we'd like to upgrade from CentOS 5 to Ubuntu LucidLynx. The problem is that HP doesn't offer Ubuntu Proliant Support Packs for these particular models. Would you upgrade regardless, skipping the PSPs altogether? Are there alternative hardware monitoring tools that would match the functionality of the PSPs? Is there a hack to install the PSP RPMs on an Ubuntu system?

  • Will restarting the W3SVC Web Publishing Service, also restart the app pool in IIS?

    Background: I'm trying to stop and start IIS on a windows 7 build box, in order to run acceptance tests. But from what I have read, most of the remote web management features have been disabled by Microsoft in a retarted attempt to sell more Windows Server 2008 licenses. Still for some reason they didn't disable the least user-friendly ways of controlling IIS remotely, but they are all a total pain. What I can do easily is remotely stop and start the WWW service from a msbuild task. But I want to be sure that this also restarts the app pool, so that when I copy in new web files the web server there will be serving the most recent version of the website. Question: If I restart the W3SVC windows service, will that also restart the app pool?

Failing which, it will not be possible for your consumers to install and use your extensions on Visual Studio 2013.   Objective In this blog post, I’ll show you how simple it is to upgrade your Visual Studio 2012 extension to Visual Studio 2013. There aren’t any reported breaking changes between VS 2012 SDK and VS 2013 SDK, the upgrade usually involves, rebuilding the extension against VS 2013 SDK and updating the vsix manifest file.              Walkthrough Download the Visual Studio 2013 SDK - You will need to download the Visual Studio 2013 SDK in order to open up the Visual Studio extension project in Visual Studio 2013. The SDK can be downloaded from here. Install the SDK before you proceed.                2. Once the VS 2013 SDK has been installed, open up your package project. For the purposes of this blog post, I’ll open up the Avanade Extension – Software Inventory in Visual Studio 2013. You will notice that Visual Studio doesn’t load the project but let’s you know that the project needs to be Migrated.                  3. Right click the project and choose the option ‘Reload Project’ from the Context Menu.                  4. Choosing the Reload Project option brings up an upgrade window, telling you that the upgrade is a one way only upgrade i.e. the project will be changed to work with Visual Studio 2013 and you will not be able to open the project up in Visual Studio 2012. My recommendation would be to create a Visual Studio 2013 branch and upgrading the project in that branch only, so if you need to go back to Visual Studio 2012 project at some point, you have a handy reference in a separate branch.             5. Upon clicking Ok, the project is updated. See below, the following changes are made at the time of upgrade,           - The runtime version is updated in the Resources.Designer.cs file                      - The Minimum version of Visual Studio in the package project file is changed from 11.0 to 12.0                    6. Reference VS 2013 dll’s rather than VS 2012 dll’s. So reference Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Client.dll and Microsoft.TeamFoundation.Controls.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE\ReferenceAssemblies\v2.0 and C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 12.0\Common7\IDE\ReferenceAssemblies\v4.5. If you have any other API references, then change the references to point to VS 2013 instead of VS 2012.                          7. Rebuild your solution to ensure there are no breaking changes. Success!                8. Update VSIX Manifest file (the file source.extnsion.vsixmanifest contains the meta data for your VSIX).          - Update the Install Targets from 11.0 to 12.0. This basically enforces that the extension can be installed on Visual Studio 2013 version of Visual Studio.                         - Update the Dependencies from Visual Studio MPF 11.0 to Visual Studio MPF 12.0              9. Rebuild the solution and open up the bin folder for the Package project and look for the file *.vsix file [Microsoft Visual Studio Extension].         - This is basically the installer for your extension.                 - Double click the installer to launch the installer wizard. Viola! You can see the package installation wizard opens up and gives you the option to install the extension for Visual Studio 2013.                    - Click Install to Continue                    - Note – If you run into the exception “23/06/2013 10:42:18 - Install Error : Microsoft.VisualStudio.ExtensionManager.InstallByMsiException: The InstalledByMSI element in extension Avanade Extensions cannot be 'true' when installing an extension through the Extensions and Updates Installer.  The element can only be 'true' when an MSI lays down the extension manifest file.” Ensure you have the option “This VSIX is installed by Windows Installer” unchecked in the Install Targets tab.        10. Verifying that the extension has installed correctly.           - Open Extension Manager and verify that the installed extension shows up in the extension manager “list of installed VSIX”.                      11. First Look at the updated Extension                         - The links have now been moved to the context menu, so to see the navigation links, you’ll have to right click on the icon and select the option from the context menu.                                        Note – The Avanade Extension being used in the demo has been developed by Utkarsh and Tarun. The Software Inventory Extension for Visual Studio 2012…  allows you to see the list of Software installed on the hosted build server right from with in Visual Studio,  the extension also allows you to export this list to excel.   • how can I write a schema that produce an unordered xml with extension

    In the following schema I am trying to make an unordered xml that extends simpleConfigurationObject: <xs:complexType name="forTestingConfigurationObjectCreator"> <xs:complexContent> <xs:extension base="simpleConfigurationObject"> <xs:all> <xs:element name="a" type="xs:string"/> <xs:element name="b" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/> </xs:all> </xs:extension> </xs:complexContent> </xs:complexType> <xs:complexType name="simpleConfigurationObject"> <xs:all> <xs:element name="base" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/> </xs:all> </xs:complexType> But I get the following error on the xs:all "all is not the only particle in the group, or is being used as an extension" (which is correct) Off-course if put the base element inside the xs:all and not use xs:extension at all I will get an unordered schema restriction. (but that is not what I want) The question is: how can I produce unordered schema with the extension? Thanks

  • Introducing sp_ssiscatalog (v1.0.0.0)

    Regular readers of my blog may know that over the last year I have made available a suite of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports that provide visualisations of the data in the SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) 2012 Catalog. Those reports are available at http://ssisreportingpack.codeplex.com. As I have built these reports and used them myself on a real life project a couple of things have dawned on me: As soon as your SSIS Catalog gets a significant amount of data in it the performance of the reports degrades rapidly. This is hampered by the fact that there are limitations as to the SQL statements that I can embed within a SSRS report. SSIS professionals are data guys at heart and those types of people feel more comfortable in a query environment rather than having to go through the rigmarole of standing up a reporting server (well, I know I do anyway) Hence I have decided to take a different tack with the reporting pack. Taking my lead from Adam Machanic’s sp_whoisactive and Brent Ozar’s sp_blitz I have produced sp_ssiscatalog, a stored procedure that makes it easy to get at the crucial data in the SSIS Catalog. I will spend the rest of this blog explaining exactly what sp_ssiscatalog does and how to use it but if you would rather just download the bits yourself and start to play you can download v1.0.0.0 from DB v1.0.0.0. Usage Scenarios Most Recent Execution I find that the most frequent information that one needs to get from the SSIS Catalog is information pertaining to the most recent execution. Hence if you execute sp_ssiscatalog with no parameters, that is exactly what you will get. EXEC [dbo].[sp_ssiscatalog] This will return up to 5 resultsets: EXECUTION - Summary information about the execution including status, start time & end time EVENTS - All events that occurred during the execution OnError,OnTaskFailed - All events where event_name is either OnError or OnTaskFailed OnWarning - All events where event_name is OnWarning EXECUTABLE_STATS - Duration and execution result of every executable in the execution All 5 resultsets will be displayed if there is any data satisfying that resultset. In other words, if there are no (for example) OnWarning events then the OnWarning resultset will not be displayed. The display of these 5 resultsets can be toggled respectively by these 5 optional parameters (all of which are of type BIT): @exec_execution @exec_events @exec_errors @exec_warnings @exec_executable_stats Any Execution As just explained the default behaviour is to supply data for the most recent execution. If you wish to specify which execution the data should return data for simply supply the execution_id as a parameter: EXEC [dbo].[sp_ssiscatalog] 6 All Executions sp_ssiscatalog can also return information about all executions: EXEC [dbo].[sp_ssiscatalog] @operation_type='execs' The most recent execution will appear at the top. sp_ssiscatalog provides a number of parameters that enable you to filter the resultset: @execs_folder_name @execs_project_name @execs_package_name @execs_executed_as_name @execs_status_desc Some typical usages might be: //Return all failed executions EXEC [dbo].[sp_ssiscatalog] @operation_type='execs',@execs_status_desc='failed' //Return all executions for a specified folder EXEC [dbo].[sp_ssiscatalog] @operation_type='execs',@execs_folder_name='My folder' //Return all executions of a specified package in a specified project EXEC [dbo].[sp_ssiscatalog] @operation_type='execs',@execs_project_name='My project', @execs_package_name='Pkg.dtsx' Installing sp_ssicatalog Under the covers sp_ssiscatalog actually calls many other stored procedures and functions hence creating it on your server is not simply a case of running a CREATE PROCEDURE script. I maintain the code in an SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) database project which means that you have two ways of obtaining it. Download the source code You can download the latest (at the time of writing) source code from http://ssisreportingpack.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/70192. Hit the download button to download all the source code in a zip file. The contents of that zip file will include an SSDT database project which you can open up in SSDT and publish just like any other SSDT database project. You can publish to a new database or any existing database, even [SSISDB] if you prefer. Download a dacpac Maintaining the code in an SSDT database project means that it can all get packaged up into a dacpac that you can then publish to your SQL Server. That dacpac is available from DB v1.0.0.0: Ordinarily a dacpac can be deployed to a SQL Server from SSMS using the Deploy Dacpac wizard however in this case there is a limitation. Due to sp_ssiscatalog referring to objects in the SSIS Catalog (which it has to do of course) the dacpac contains a SqlCmd variable to store the name of the database that underpins the SSIS Catalog; unfortunately the Deploy Dacpac wizard in SSMS has a rather gaping limitation in that it cannot deploy dacpacs containing SqlCmd variables. Hence, we can use the command-line tool, sqlpackage.exe, instead. Don’t worry if reverting to the command-line sounds a little daunting, I assure you it is not. Simply open a Visual Studio command-prompt and cd to the folder containing the downloaded dacpac: Type: "%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DAC\bin\sqlpackage.exe" /action:Publish /TargetDatabaseName:SsisReportingPack /SourceFile:SSISReportingPack.dacpac /Variables:SSISDB=SSISDB /TargetServerName:(local) or the shortened form: "%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Microsoft SQL Server\110\DAC\bin\sqlpackage.exe" /a:Publish /tdn:SsisReportingPack /sf:SSISReportingPack.dacpac /v:SSISDB=SSISDB /tsn:(local) remembering to set your server name appropriately (here mine is set to “(local)” ). If everything works successfully you will see this: And you’re done! You’ll have a new database called [SsisReportingPack] which contains sp_ssiscatalog:   Good luck with sp_ssiscatalog. I have been using it extensively on my own projects recently and it has proved to be very useful indeed. Rest-assured however, I will be adding many new capabilities in the future.   • wamp cannot load mysqli extension

    WAMP installed fine, no problems, BUT... When going to phpMyAdmin, I get the error from phpMyAdmin as follows: "Cannot load mysqli extension. Please check your PHP configuration". Also, phpMyAdmin documentation explains this error message as follows: "To connect to a MySQL server, PHP needs a set of MySQL functions called "MySQL extension". This extension may be part of the PHP distribution (compiled-in), otherwise it needs to be loaded dynamically. Its name is probably mysql.so or php_mysql.dll. phpMyAdmin tried to load the extension but failed. Usually, the problem is solved by installing a software package called "PHP-MySQL" or something similar." Finally, the apache_error.log file has the following PHP warnings (see the mySQL warning): PHP Warning: Zend Optimizer does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of Zend Optimizer in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: Zend Platform does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of Zend Platform in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: Zend Debug Server does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of Zend Debug Server in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: gd wrapper does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of gd wrapper in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: java wrapper does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of java wrapper in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: mysql wrapper does not support this version of PHP - please upgrade to the latest version of mysql wrapper in Unknown on line 0 So, for some reason PHP is not recognizing the mysql extension.   • Installing ImageMagick extension with php/windows

    Running PHP Version 5.2.5 on Windows Server 2003 with IIS. Have virtually an identical server where we were able to install ImageMagick with no issues. It's running exactly the same version of php. Used the following steps to install, but it just won't seem to work on this server. ImageMagick itself is installed but php won't load the extension. We've spent hours trying to get the extension installed. It just won't show up in phpinfo(). INSTALL STEPS TAKEN* To install IMagick on windows xp (php 5.2.x) 1.) download and install ImageMagick-6.5.8-7 Q16-windows-dll.exe http://www.imagemagick.org/download/binaries/ ImageMagick-6.5.8-7-Q16-windows-dll.exe 2.) download php_imagick_dyn-Q16.dll from: http://valokuva.org/outside-blog-content/ imagick-windows-builds/080709/ copy dll to [PHP]/extension dir and rename it to php_imagick.dll 3.) You have to edit your php.ini file and add new extension "extension=php_imagick.dll" 4.) Save ini file and restart apache server. (If necessary, restart your windows) 5.) phpinfo() should show imagick enabled.

  • Polymorphism problem: How to check type of derived class?

    Hi, this is my first question here :) I know that I should not check for object type but instead use dynamic_cast, but that would not solve my problem. I have class called Extension and interfaces called IExtendable and IInitializable, IUpdatable, ILoadable, IDrawable (the last four are basicly the same). If Extension implements IExtendable interface, it can extend itself with different Extension objects. The problem is that I want to allow the Extension which implements IExtendable to extend only with Extension that implements the same interfaces as the original Extension. You probably don't unerstand that mess so I try to explain it with code: class IExtendable { public: IExtendable(void); void AddExtension(Extension*); void RemoveExtensionByID(unsigned int); vector<Extension*>* GetExtensionPtr(){return &extensions;}; private: vector<Extension*> extensions; }; class IUpdatable { public: IUpdatable(void); ~IUpdatable(void); virtual void Update(); }; class Extension { public: Extension(void); virtual ~Extension(void); void Enable(){enabled=true;}; void Disable(){enabled=false;}; unsigned int GetIndex(){return ID;}; private: bool enabled; unsigned int ID; static unsigned int _indexID; }; Now imagine the case that I create Extension like this: class MyExtension : public Extension, public IExtendable, public IUpdatable, public IDrawable { public: MyExtension(void); virtual ~MyExtension(void); virtual void AddExtension(Extension*); virtual void Update(); virtual void Draw(); }; And I want to allow this class to extend itself only with Extensions that implements the same interfaces (or less). For example I want it to be able to take Extension which implements IUpdatable; or both IUpdatable and IDrawable; but e.g. not Extension which implements ILoadable. I want to do this because when e.g. Update() will be called on some Extension which implements IExtendable and IUpdateable, it will be also called on these Extensions which extends this Extension. So when I'm adding some Extension to Extension which implements IExtendable and some of the IUpdatable, ILoadable... I'm forced to check if Extension that is going to be add implements these interfaces too. So In the IExtendable::AddExtension(Extension*) I would need to do something like this: void IExtendable::AddExtension(Extension* pEx) { bool ok = true; // check wheather this extension can take pEx // do this with every interface if ((*pEx is IUpdatable) && (*this is_not IUpdatable)) ok = false; if (ok) this->extensions.push_back(pEx); } But how? Any ideas what would be the best solution? I don't want to use dynamic_cast and see if it returns null... thanks
