I would like to assign a value in a class property dynamically (that is referring to it using a variable).
#Something like:
setPropValue($obj, $propName, $value);
Hi,
I want to send the following JSON text {"Email":"[email protected]","Password":"123456"} to a web service and read the response. I know to how to read JSON. The problem is that the above jason object must be sent in a variable name jason. How can i do this from android? Like creating a request object setting content headers etc.
1and1 VPS ("dynamic cloud server") does not boot any more as soon as mysql lookup is enabled in nsswitch.conf - any suggestions appreciated.
Minimal setup to reproduce the problem:
install Ubuntu 12.04 / LTS minimal server image
install mysql-server, libnss-mysql-bg, nscd
configure /etc/libnss-mysql.cfg and /etc/libnss-mysql-root.cfg
set up appropriate database tables
configure nss lookups through mysql in nsswitch.conf
passwd: compat mysql
group: compat mysql
shadow: compat mysql
Now, when I try to reboot the server it just hangs. No logs (maybe due to /var not yet being mounted), and I can't see console output (since this is a VPS). Booting into recovery image and removing "mysql" from /etc/nsswitch.conf makes the system bootable again, so this is definitely related to nsswitch/libnss-mysql-bg.
There's a thread on gentoo-users which seems to describe a similar problem, unfortunately there's no real solution described, also the thread is rather old (from 2006) so I'm not sure whether this applies to me at all.
Hi,
When i include fb_connect_async_js javascript helper it is throwing an
error , Facebooker 2 don't have action view template. Could you please tell
me how handle this situation .
undefined local variable or method `fb_connect_async_js' for
ActionView::Base
Thanks,
Srini
This probably an easy thing to do but for some reason I can't get a handle on it.
I have a simple form that allows people to select one if three items for sale. When they chose their item I need to pass that variable into an iFrame with a third party checkout page to safely process their cc transaction.
How would I do this?
Cheers-
I have an object variable Object test = Spinner.getSelectedItem();
-It gets the selected item from the Spinner (called spinner) and names the item 'test'
I want to do an if statement related to that object e.g:
'if (test = "hello") {
//do something
}'
But it appears not to work....
Can someone give me some help?
-Do I have to use a different if? or convert the object to string etc.?
Thanks alot...
James
I wonder if syntax as follows would be helpful in your opinion as a code readability improvent and self-commenting of code:
std::map<std::string name, std::vector<int> scores> myMap;
In this example it clearly says and no other comment is needed, what for we are using myMap variable.
Looking forward to your opinions.
I get the following errors:
error: missing terminating " character
and
error: stray `\' in program
In this line of C code:
system("sqlite3 -html /home/user/.rtcom-eventlogger/el.db \"SELECT service_id, event_type_id,free_text, remote_uid FROM Events WHERE remote_uid=\'%d\' ORDER BY start_time DESC;\" > lol.html", nr);
"nr" is a integer variable.
I have gone over this so many times but are totally stuck of finding a solution.
EDIT: The errors is the ouput while compiling with gcc if I didn't make that clear.
Hey,
I have this mysql tables I want to display with jqgrid. The problem appears when I want to display a parametrized query.
For example lets say I want to display all students older than 21. I have this variable named age which I want to pass to server.php file where I can construct the XML or JSON.
On server I see some variables like $examp = $_REQUEST["q"]; but I dont know where to put $age to be accesed in server.php
Thanks
When I run
php -v
I get:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib64/php/modules/apc.so' - /usr/lib64/php/modules/apc.so: undefined symbol: php_pcre_exec in Unknown on line 0
This isn't my first rodeo. I've setup APC multiple times. This is a MediaTemple Dedicated Virtual 4.0 with Plesk 11. Plesk 11 is the only thing essentially different from the other servers I've set this up on.
I've verified that pcre-devel is installed. I've compiled APC from source as well as used pecl to install it. No difference.
I also tried downgrading to APC 3.0.19, with no love.
HOWEVER! would setting the $link to my database be one thing that I prolly should use a GLOBAL scope for? In my setting of (lots of functions)...it seems as though having only one variable that is on the global scope would be wise.
I am currently using the functions to transfer it back and forth so that way I do not have it on global...but it is a bit of a hinder to my script.
Please Advise,
Thank you.
Matt
What is the VB Equivalent of the following C# boolean expression?
data.GetType() == typeof(System.Data.DataView)
Note: The variable data is declared as IEnumerable.
I need to display a piece of HTML only if a variable value appears in a list. I know that Django 1.2 has an 'in' operator. But I am working on a Google App Engine app. Is there a workaround I can use?
Hi there.
I have the following javascript function:
<script type="text/javascript">
function quickCardRegister_OnCompleteSave() {
publishContent('This is a description',#{imagePath},'http://www.lala.com');
}
</script>
The imagePath variable is populated with value: http://localhost/img/30_w130px.gif
I'm having the following script error: missing ) after argument list
publishContent('This is a description',http://localhost/img/30_w130px.gif,'http://www.lala.com');
How can i surround http://localhost/img/30_w130px.gif with quotes?
Thanks
Hi,
I'm trying to read a file byte by byte, but I'm not sure how to do that. I'm trying to do it like that:
file = open(filename, 'rb')
while 1:
byte = file.read(8)
# Do something...
So does that make the variable byte to contain 8 next bits at the beginning of every loop? It doesn't matter what those bytes really are. The only thing that matters is that I need to read a file in 8-bit stacks.
I am trying to created nested dictionary variable like the below, But I get compile error stating that it needs "}" at line where I am adding items (line #2) to my nested dictionary.
What Am I missing here? Thanks.
Dim myNestedDictionary As Dictionary(Of String, Dictionary(Of String, Integer)) = New Dictionary(Of String, Dictionary(Of String, Integer))()
myNestedDictionary.Add("A", New Dictionary("A", 4)())
I get this error when I run the application Incorrect syntax near 12, on debugging I found that this error is caused due to the # along with the date.
Dim backdate as datetime
backdate = DateTime.Now.AddDays(-1)
on binding the data to the grid to filter the backdate records this error is caused Incorrect syntax near 12.
myqry = " select SRNO,SUBJECT,ID where datesend =" backdate
Now i am trying to extract only the date or shall I divide the date into day , month and year with DATEPART and take into a variable or convert the date or what should i do , Please help ???
I need to mimic the preprocessor feature of C with Python.
If I want to run the debug release, I use as follows with C
#ifdef DEBUG
printf(...)
#endif
I just use -DDEBUG or similar to trigger it on or off.
What method can I use for Python/Ruby?
I mean, what should I do to control the behavior of python/ruby scripts in such a way that I can change a variable that affects all the script files in a project?
Given a class like this:
class B
class << self
attr_accessor :var
end
end
Suppose I can't modify the original source code of class B. How might I go about removing the setter on the class variable var? I've tried using something like B.send("unset_method", "var="), but that doesn't work (nor does remove_method, or overwriting that method with a var= method that doesn't do anything). Any ideas?
How can we convert the following 64 bit binary into the long equivalent;
01111101 10100011 01001111 11111111 11111111 11111111 11111111 11000000
equals 7D A3 4F FF FF FF FF C0 HEX
equals 9053167636875050944 << this is the value we want in a C# variable
I have an object of type Hash that I want to loop over via hash.each do |key, value|. I would like to get the number of times I've been through the loop starting at 1.
Is there a method similar to each that provides this (while still providing the hash key/value data), or do I need to create another counter variable to increment within the loop?
