JSF SSL Hazzard

I am using it with richFaces. Once it goes to HTTPS its not changing the page—I mean if I perform post action it doesn't actually happen. But if I do it from the local machine's browser it works perfectly, from a remote browser it stucks with HTTPS and not changing after that. The "all" target depends on v12target and v13 target, which set a number of variables for that particular build. It also depends on an "avrcommontargets" pattern, which defines how to actually do the compiling. avrcommontargets then depends on the ELF file, which in turn depends on object files, which are built from the C source code. Each compiled C file results in an object file (*.o). Since each configuration (v12, v13, etc.) results in a different output, the C file needs to be built several times with the output placed in different subdirectories. For example, "build/v12/main.o", "build/v13/main.o", etc. Sample output: TODO call GCC to compile C file: destination build//main.o, source main.c TODO build ELF file from object file: destination build/DoV12.elf, source build//main.o TODO build ELF file from object file: destination build/DoV13.elf, source build//main.o The problem is that the object file isn't going into the correct subdirectory. For example, "build//main.o" instead of "build/v12/main.o". That then prevents the main.o from being correctly rebuilt to generate the v13 version of main.o. I'm guessing the issue is that $(INTDIR) is a target specific variable, and perhaps this can't be used in the pattern targets I defined for %.elf and %.o. The correct output would be: TODO call GCC to compile C file: destination build/v12/main.o, source main.c TODO build ELF file from object file: destination build/DoV12.elf, source build/v12/main.o TODO call GCC to compile C file: destination build/v13/main.o, source main.c TODO build ELF file from object file: destination build/DoV13.elf, source build/v13/main.o What do I need to do to adjust this makefile so that it generates the correct output?

A first naive approach was to add a parameter to the decorator which holds the object, like @saveconfig(self), but this doesn't work. How can I access object variables of the method host inside the decorator? Do i have to define the decorator inside the same class to get access?

Performance in SQL Mobile with one big column that's not being selected

I have a SQL Mobile database with one table. It has several columns with useful, often queried data and one column that stores a relatively large string per record (1000+ characters) that is not queried often. Imagine this fake schema, the "lifeStory" field is the large one. table1 String firstName String lastName String address String lifeStory A representative query would be SELECT firstName, lastName, address FROM table1 WHERE firstName = :p1 Does anyone know of any performance concerns leaving that large, infrequently queried column in this table?

Google App Engine Python: get image upload size server-side

I am building a Google App Engine App that lets users upload images; I have everything working fine, but I am struggling to find a way to ensure that the user does not upload an image too large (because I am resizing the images, so this crashes my python script). When a user uploads a large image, I get this error RequestTooLargeError: The request to API call images.Transform() was too large. I know that there is a size limitation on what GAE allows for it's image API, I am just trying to find a way to deal with this server side; something along the lines of if (image is too large): inform user else: proceed I haven't had any luck finding the right python code to do this; can anyone help me out?

Why does Java's TreeSet not specify that its type parameter must extend Comparable?

e.g. The code below throws a ClassCastException when the second Object is added to the TreeSet. Couldn't TreeSet have been written so that the type parameter can only be a Comparable type? i.e. TreeSet would not compile because Object is not Comparable. Is -1 a magic number? An anti-pattern? A code smell? Quotes and guidelines from authorities

I've seen -1 used in various APIs, most commonly when searching into a "collection" with zero-based indices, usually to indicate the "not found" index. This "works" because -1 is never a legal index to begin with. It seems that any negative number should work, but I think -1 is almost always used, as some sort of (unwritten?) convention. I would like to limit the scope to Java at least for now. My questions are: What are the official words from Sun regarding using -1 as a "special" return value like this? What quotes are there regarding this issue, from e.g. James Gosling, Josh Bloch, or even other authoritative figures outside of Java? What were some of the notable discussions regarding this issue in the past?

error loading (TypeLoadException) on asp.net/xsp/mono on debian/opensuse

When i reset apache and load my website i get the first error below. I have no idea what the problem is. If i reload the page again (without restarting apache) i get the 2nd error, probably because the first error occurred and BaseUser is the first class/func that Application_Start uses. Why am i getting this load exception? Whats messed up is i tried using mono's VMWare img to debug it and i got the very same exception (until i restarted which now refuses to give me anything but 404 errors). However when i use mono develop to run the project the site runs PERFECT. WTF. Any ideas? Server Error in '/' Application A type load exception has occurred. Description: HTTP 500. Access Edit Mode Values of BindingSource Control

I have a BindingSource control (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.bindingsource.aspx) with a datasource of a (single) Linq object. If I change any of the properties of the underlying Linq-to-Sql object then all the other changes on the bound controls on the form are lost. Does anyone now why and how I work around it? I don't want to call EndEdit because this will commit the changes to the underlying object. I think this might be because my underlying object linq-to-sql object does not implement IEditableObject so the potental new values for the object fields are sort of stored in the forms controls. Can anyone either clarify what is going on and/or suggest a work around. Thanks!

(e.g java.awt.Image) c) How do I create an object of the type selected (answer of question b) from the data obtained from the database? d) How do I save an object of the type selected (answer of question b) to the database? e) How do I draw the image on a web page? JSTL Session Lookup - Key Has Periods

Hello All, I am working with some legacy code, and at some point there is a key in the session that is something like session.setAttribute("com.org.something.Object",someObject); Now trying to access this in a jsp using jstl is a bit difficult becuase if I tried it like I normally would I would do: ${sessionScope.com.org.something.Object.someFieldGetter} As most of us can imagine it will fail because there is no com object in session scope. I also tried ${sessionScope.'com.org.something.Object'.someFieldGetter} And a parsing error was thrown. Does anyone know how to resolve this so that I can correctly get the object similar to session.getAttribute("com.org.something.Object") but through jstl? thank you.

In DDD, Repository takes care of saving and retrieving domain objects and also serves as collection of Aggregate Roots. My question is how do you retrieve the information for those child entities (let's say from DB) of an Aggregate where basic rule is Repository should just hold collection of Aggregate Roots (parent object) and not child objects? For example: User (parent object) Orders (child object) User domain object is stored in user table and Orders are stored in another table. Basically, retrieving a Domain Object could be like this: <?php $userRepos = new UserRepository(); $user = $userRepos->find($userId); ?> How then the child object (Orders) of User entity be retrieve to be as part of the User aggregate?

I have to select the checkbox two times to check/uncheck in jTable

I have a jTable code i intend to use, but the problem with it is that when i click on the checkbox once it doesn't select/deselect it, instead i have to click twice. But if i select any other cell in the row except the one containing the checkbox the purpose is solved. PHP Version 5.3.3-7 Apache 2 The other weird thing is that I have a set_error_handler( 'myHandler' ); To write in the error log other inforamtion too, but with this error it seems PHP just ignores my error_handler =/ I don't have any code that can generate this errore before my call to set_error_handler

is opening a large file once reading it completely once to list faster (or) opening smaller files whose total sum of size is equal to large file and loading smaller file into list manupalating one by one faster? which is faster?? is the difference is time large enough to impact my program?? total time difference of lesser then of 30 sec is negligible for me
