I need to know how i can direct the user to the NotFound view in my Controllers and how to render a specific "Return to Index" in each controller.     Hi. I aw working on cross site authentication (some domains have got common authentication). So I want to send authentication data (login, password) to main domain from others. How should I use protect_from_forgery and how can I check if data received from valid domain? What I am thinking now is to turn off protect_from_forgery for session controller and check domain name of received data. But maybe I can configure CSRF protection for not only one domain?

  • UITableView cell animate background

    I have a UITableView with a bunch of rows. When some action occurs, I want to animate the background of a cell. I just want to make it grey and then fade it back to the default in .5 seconds. Is my only option to set the background and call [tableView beginUpdates] followed by [tableView endUpdates] and then set a timer to clear the background again, or is there some more fundamental animation technique I can use here?

The problem is that the page will pop-out the download, and you can save it, but it will not allow another form submit. i was thinking of doing a page refresh after the submit. But i cant figure out how to do that and not stop the download. Do you have any ideas. Thanks

  • jQuery is not filtering/selecting on IE after ajax call

    I have the following code that works on firefox and chrome $("#adicionarItem").click(function(){ $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: $("#formAdicionaItem").attr("action"), data: $("#formAdicionaItem").serialize(), success: function(response){ alert($("div#errors", response).size()); } }); }); In IE the alert always returns zero. In firefox/chrome it returns 1 wich is the expected value. Does anyone know if this is a bug or if I am doing something wrong?
